I mean, even a spark from a tailpipe can start a fire when conditions like this
Abby, right? You're starting your car over like that tinder dry grass that
could be really dangerous. Hey, we've been watching multiple wildfires
burning in the pacific northwest and today tomorrow at times there could be
rounds of high level wildfire smoke that come in due to southerly winds a
lot. But because it's staying in the higher levels, this is a look at five
o'clock this afternoon. We're not expecting it to impact air quality at
the surface. I think by tomorrow afternoon we're going to see less haze
out there. This is a picture over our beautiful city. We're in the low sixties
now. Unfortunately at times recently sleeping weather has been quite
challenging due to the heat for those that air conditioning 85 is where we're
going today. A much more comfortable 72 tomorrow. Now there might be a couple
of showers on thursday, even some lightning strikes over the mountains
between tonight and tomorrow. That's a low possibility but worth a mention on
friday for zip trips in Linwood 10 a.m. Looking good morning clouds,
afternoon sunshine, abundant sunshine into the weekend, a great looking late
july weekend for everybody. But then monday and tuesday we get sweltering
once again with highs both days at 87. If you're doing any bike riding,
running, walking, outdoor workouts of any kind today, I mean a lovely morning
for it but turning quite scorching later on and for yard work, we
definitely recommend you getting that done early before those temperatures
really spike. This is how quickly will warm up already reaching about 75 at
noon mid eighties. We go four o'clock and we're basically 70 at 10 o'clock.
So it's still quite warm even later on tonight. I've got another update on
your neighborhood highs in a second. Adam, what's going on out there?
