You don't think of tornado in San Antonio, but that's exactly what Natalie Mae woke up to Wednesday morning
I woke up and I thought maybe it was like lightning and stuff and all the sound
From just the heavy rain and just like the debris and stuff then she looked outside her apartment window all of a sudden
I see this dark clouds and just you know, like this little
Tornado thing that's kind of forming and then that's when I realized that the lightning
I thought it was lightning was actually, you know power lines like just blowing out from her top floor apartment
May had a clear view as the tornado moved across I-10 between the Dominion and Chevenot Park
She quickly pulled out her phone. I was like I should get this on video as the funnel grew larger
Situation became more than just something to record and I was like, okay
Maybe I should go hide in the bathroom in case the window breaks and you know
I don't want to get injured and all that stuff the National Weather Service

This was all completely
Submerged with water as you can see this street right now
We're on right is is a River Road and it's open now
But earlier today it was flooded with waters this business across the street
Posted earlier today on social media that it was closed down today because that water got up to the patio
You can even see the watermarks still on the patio just to go which just goes to show you how much water this
community received and how

Again if you live along any creeks or streams here in the city of Bernie you need to be prepared as
The water levels have risen all day across the city. There is some good news though city leaders say
This afternoon around 2 30 the water has begun to recede along some of these areas creeks streams
