During the FIFA World Cup, we've been highlighting local soccer stars here on Fox 6 Wake Up.
We only have a few days left to go.
I know.
It's time for Look Who Kicks.
All right, let's kick things off with Emery in Genoa City.
So Emery starts off her game days by pumping up her teammates, and for her, soccer is all
about family and fun.
I love that.
We take it over to Milwaukee now, where Jelani's team is still in it.
He's pulling for Argentina to win it all yet again.
Maybe he's a big Messi fan, I'm assuming.
His game day ritual starts with putting on the soccer gear, taking some pictures, supporting
Team Argentina with positive energy.
And Jelani says soccer means family, teamwork, discipline, and joy.
Lionel Messi would agree.
There you go.
And another Lionel fan here, too.
We have Stephanie in West Dallas, who submitted this photo right here, for the 1-1 to Argentina
to win us the World Cup championships come Sunday.
So this is a picture that she sent her of the soccer star in her life.
Their game starts with warm-ups, and then their favorite part, of course, having fun
and just, you know, it's the love of the sport.
There you go.
Freddie in Milwaukee just hopes everyone has fun.
I love that, Freddie.
He's actually cheering for all of the teams, so there you go.
You can't lose if you're cheering for all of them.
Before every game, he listens to music on the way to the field.
His family says soccer brings them together, and they love watching him grow in the sport
and celebrate all of his hard work, both on and off the field.
Go, Freddie.
All right, taking it over to McGowan to go now.
It is not game day for Joella.
If it doesn't start with the team shouting,
Legacy Legends on three.
One, two, three.
Legacy Legends.
All right, her family says that's all they do from August until June.
I hear that.
Looks like they do it pretty well, because he's holding the trophy there.
I think that might have been her first goalie.
I think I saw the gloves on.
Oh, I love that.
Yeah, gotta have some representative goalie keepers out there.
Let's wrap things up with James in Oak Creek, who starts off his game days by practicing
shooting with his coach, Dada.
Love that.
James' mom and dad actually both played in college, so he's got some good genes there.
So far, it is James' favorite sport as well.
I love these pics.
All right, so to send us your favorite soccer picture for the chance to see it here on FOX 6
Wake Up, scan the QR code on your screen or head to fox6now.com and follow the instructions.
