The first time we've had a chance to use Otani all year long.
We're debuting the all-star Otani at DH.
He's going to lead off and he's on the mound today because everyone else is at
least a little bit down on energy.
We're also debuting Andrew Jones, who we got from our reward spin.
We did score in four or more innings in that last game, which
was our challenge of the day.
And Andrew Jones was our reward land.
After yesterday's episode, we went ahead and we completed the hall of
fame event and unlocked that 99 Trevor Hoffman.
So he has now been added to that wheel and could be added to the team.
If we complete another challenge, we're still just one 87 overall live series.
Blake Snell from finishing, not just the Dodgers, but the entire
national league for Albert pool halls.
Now this morning I logged on and you won't believe it.
We had a gameplay XP spin and bam, we landed on the ultra
slot for a free ultra pack.
So we have the ultra all-star game pack sitting here now, a chance
at Kevin McGonigal, James Wood, or even the 97 Chris sale, who I
would at least debut if we got them.
Now there's one hour left until weekend.
Classic starts at the time.
I'm recording this.
This is the last game of the season and it's risky because
we're at eight 18 and ranked.
If we lose, it will bump us out of world series for weekend.
Classic.
My apologies for the short five episode season between all-star
week, my week long vacation and the baby.
It's just, we took the, we, we took a little bit of a breather in July.
Let's see what our challenge is for today's episode.
We're going to spin the wheel.
If we complete this challenge, we could win another program or
collection word reward like Andrew Jones.
Today.
It is a choice player home run.
Who do we want to Homer with today?
I'm going to say could tell Marta.
Today's lineup will be show.
Hey, Otani, Sean Figgins, rock Chalowski, could tell Marta, Pete
Crow Armstrong, Andrew Jones, debuting in the six hole followed by Matt
Matt Olson has been a personal favorite of mine all year long, but man, I can't
wait to get pool halls plugged in for new to patch.
Watch the rules are in the description box down below.
I doubt you're new because we get the exact same amount of views on every
episode and we're like 45 episodes and five seasons deep now, but they're
there if you need them.
And if you're new subscribe and for the 99% that have been here before,
make sure you check out the offline pay playlist and the franchise videos.
They do very well.
Now I need to get more of them up.
Here we go.
Home squad against Brody Bumilla.
I think that's how it's pronounced.
Maybe wrong.
But all I know is I faced him one time on all-star last night and I hated it.
He's nasty.
This is going to be my first time seeing him on hall of fame.
We need a win.
Fly ball left quick.
One pitch, one out to start the game.
Beautiful.
I cannot wait to see this outfield defense in display.
Nasty back to back sweepers to start too low or slurves.
Actually.
Now we're going to throw the sweeper nasty, rolled it over three breaking
balls to too low 99 speed out to start one and two.
Beautiful.
Oh, pop him up.
Yeah.
See this dude.
Brody Bumilla ground ball.
Left side.
Nice play by Jay Ram.
He was up on the grass, man.
Brutal seven pitch inning for Brody.
It doesn't get any uglier than that.
I knew it going in.
This could be bad.
I just got to get my timing down with this dude.
That ball is gone.
Did we make a mistake?
Trout takes Otani deep on the inside.
Say it was the first sinker.
I threw the whole game.
Oh, two on Berkman.
We just got away with a really bad splitter.
I need this fastball to just kiss the inside half.
Perfect pitch.
Let's get up out of the zone again.
No way.
Not right now.
Oh, no way.
Victor Martinez, after fouling off two good pitches,
chases another one up and out of the zone away,
but hooks the foul pole for a homer.
We're down to nasty.
It looked like he held up.
Check swings are busted.
Nasty splitter again.
Back to back.
Check swing strikeouts.
Two points, but two homers on the inning.
Yikes.
Could tell Marte back up the middle.
All right, here we go.
We got the tying run at the plate.
There's nobody out.
No, no, no.
Could tell, could tell, could tell.
Dude, it can't be that bad over there.
Oh, man.
OK, we're at rock bottom right now.
Just threw that opportunity down the garbage.
Here's Andrew Jones to debut with nobody on.
Oh, 114 pitches, five outs.
We had a base hit and blew it.
Slider down misses.
And then that slider got in off the PCI three up.
Three down in very weird style.
Fly ball to left.
This is where the defense could come in.
Sean Figgins flags it down.
Ground ball right side.
Diving snag.
Figgins doesn't beat it out.
There's a 10 point play from good tell.
I thought it was a knock for sure, just because it was Figgins running
trying front door slur here if I can.
What a pitch.
Another strikeout from Otani.
The two solo shots.
Get down there.
J-Ram run, J-Ram run, J-Ram.
He's going to round first.
He's going to be in scoring position with one out.
And then Posada.
No way.
Puts one or three right on the corner and we strand that runner at second.
I just I don't know.
He's thought he's been spamming the sinker in.
He dotted it.
Good pitch.
He's mixing.
Well, I can't stand this Brody guy.
We might have to pick him up.
Ground ball, diving play again on the ninety nine speed again.
Good tell.
Marte has made 20 points on the defensive side in the last two innings.
Ground ball to shortstop and three one count.
That'll be the second out of the inning.
We're eventually going to score, right?
We've been in a rhythm here ever since those homers hit them backwards, Shohei.
Or don't.
Perfect, perfect missile out to right field for Lance Berkman.
Fly ball to center will end the inning strands one at first.
We're through four, just two runs on three hits on Shohei Ohtani.
But we haven't even cracked a run.
We've had a couple of runners on, but we haven't even been close.
Sean Figgins, first pitch swing, and we're kind of all over that sinker.
But that ball.
Oh, stop it.
First pitch to Chilowski slider right there.
Just a hair in off the barrel.
We are we are mom, mom, mom, mom, mom.
This is not good.
The outs are coming quick.
Oh, they say we go on the changeup.
This is one of the worst innings of all time.
Oh, yeah, that's it right there.
That was the worst inning of all time.
A five pitch inning to one pitch out to the three pitch strikeout.
One pitch, one out to Jrem.
Let's just do the exact same thing to him.
Oh, why not?
Two one pitch outs to start the top five.
No way. Oh, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
The one out base hit just snuck it over the infield.
I need a couple of those.
And Sean Figgins is going to hit one out of here
again, got him to chase up out of the zone, but it sneaks out
round ball to shortstop.
That'll do it for the inning.
Two more runs.
He scored all four runs on three homers in this game.
Matt Olson, can we get one to sneak out?
We barreled it up, but we were early and it just doesn't go.
We were through five with nothing.
No runs on two hits.
The end of the the bats are getting worse, really.
Oh, almost not quite.
Thought we almost went for our third defensive play of the game.
Ninety nine speed on with nobody else. Dangerous.
Really bad picture.
Tony's got to get out of here.
70 pitches. Lance Berkman coming up.
That's a terrible time for a walk.
We'll go to Tyler Rogers. We'll try and get funky.
We need a two ball here. Bad.
This game could get away from us here.
Good spot.
Oh, whoa. Smart play by Jay Ram to tag the runner.
I didn't think that the CPU had that in their bag.
Good slider there and on those hands.
It's one, two on Victor Martinez.
Yes, sir. Four or a little six, four, three.
That's a huge double play.
Come on. We still have 12 outs to work with here.
Jorge Posada barrels up a sweeper
and hits it to the wall.
What is going on?
Beautiful pitch.
Yeah, I suck against this guy.
I kind of realized it when I sucked against him on all star.
This dude, to me, feels the way Randy Johnson cards should feel.
And I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong with this guy's timing window,
because it's been bad on every difficulty the last couple of days.
Hey, strikeout for Tyler Rodgers.
Here comes Ozzy Albies.
Ball was cranked and that's going to just going to sneak over, huh?
I mean, come on.
Fly ball to left. All right.
We give up another one.
We only got three innings left to hit, but you never know.
We are in striking distance. One big inning.
Sean Figgins, I mean, just just bad.
Just bad. Bad day at the office.
I was due for a dud like this.
Going to let Tyler Rodgers kind of lay on the sword here in this one.
I want to refresh the left.
The rest of the pitching staff going in the weekend.
Classic win or lose here.
Strategical decision.
Even if this game gets fully away from us,
we're going to need to have a monster inning regardless.
Fly ball to center.
Two outs here in the eighth.
One more we go hit.
You get a couple of base runners on.
You never know.
Pop them up again.
Three up, three down in the eighth.
Pete Crow Armstrong.
Dude, I cannot buy one in this game, bro.
Andrew Jones now rips one the other way, right to a glove.
That one finds a hole.
Hey, hey, let's put two on the board here going into the ninth, huh?
J-Ram, how about?
Oh, I thought it was a nuke.
Ambush anchored.
Perfect, perfect.
And down the line for a single.
Couldn't test Matt Olsen going to third there.
We got two on two outs now.
Bleed, bleed, bleed, bleed.
That's down.
It'll score a run.
And we're going first and third.
This is the inning.
This is it.
One big swing here.
Shohei, no!
Was the sinker!
I thought I was waiting for that 1-0-3 on the corner.
Oh, what a spot.
He went sinker up and in and it actually went just a hair in.
What a spot.
Oh, good swing by Berkman.
I'm letting Rodgers fall on it, though.
This is on me.
Leaving a tired pitcher out there so long.
That one should have been gone, too, if we're being honest.
J-Ram now will line out to right.
It's like the game's trying to force me to take him out, but I'm not.
I'm sorry.
I will die on this hill.
I'm not blowing any more energy on anyone else before we get in classic.
Now, let me get my at-bats in and we'll finish this season.
Sean Figgins, that'll drop.
What, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what?
It's lagging so bad.
I don't know what's going on.
What?
No.
Wait, now hold on.
Why do I feel like he just boosted his?
Why do I feel like he just dropped his rating down in tension?
That almost feels like he did that on purpose.
What was that about?
They're going to take my last at-bat from me after a leadoff bleeder.
I go four or five innings without getting anything to go through the infield.
I lead off with a bleeder.
Now you pull the plug on me, man.
That's the slimiest win I've gotten in three games
since the last time someone quit in a in a weird situation like that.
That's our least deserved win in years, though.
I didn't just play bad.
I was putrid, pitiful, disturbing, tough watch, embarrassing.
Seriously, what's up with that Brody card?
Are there any tells on him?
I can't figure it out.
I'd never know where the ball's going.
The sinker has like crazy movement and then the fastballs 103.
And that guy in particular, I don't think he threw a single fastball
that wasn't kissing the corner.
OK, so we finished the season with an 837 rating.
Weekend Classic is actually about to start in 20 minutes.
Brings our record for the year now to 46 and 14 overall.
Six total bases, one run, four strikeouts.
That's 10 total points.
Two defensive bonuses brings us up to 30 total points.
But a horrendous effort in this game.
Otani goes over three with three strikeouts, gives up three home runs,
one of them to the trout that we picked him over.
It doesn't get any worse than that.
It's embarrassing. I'm ashamed.
Seriously, that's rough.
I think we're like 25 and four in our last 29 games,
if my math is correct.
Going back to the weekend classic at the end of season three.
That was bad.
Are 30 points, 30 packs.
We're just opening as many standard packs as possible,
just like the last episode.
We need one 87 plus live series diamond.
Even if it's not Blake Snow, we could trade it for Blake Snow
because we have every other 87 diamond and it would be a duplicate trade.
And so any 87 plus live series really is going to get us Albert Pauls.
And we've been we've been at this exact milestone for four episodes
down to our last three packs, just like that.
Absolutely nothing.
And really, we don't deserve anything.
We are about to get a choice pack for winning the game.
And I feel slimy even doing that.
But he quit.
So it is what it is.
We're opening the ultra pack as our choice pack for the win.
We get five players here.
We'll go one at a time.
We'd love to try Chris Sale.
We have drew Rasmussen.
Second player is going to be drew Rasmussen again.
I wouldn't be shocked if there's five of them.
We have Pete Crow Armstrong.
We already have a better Pete Crow Armstrong.
So still nothing helping us so far.
Riley Greene's not going to cut it.
And I think this card's guaranteed 97.
I could be wrong.
I'm wrong, it was guaranteed 96.
It's Corbin Carroll, who also is not going to make the team.
That was horrendous.
I mean, that's got to go down
as the top five worst pack squads performance of all time
between the game, the way it ended, the packs.
All of it was as bad as it gets.
But there's only up from here.
And we and we managed to get the rank points in this one.
And we have Weekend Classic going now.
So we get the rank points in a bad warm up game.
And now we're going to just tackle Weekend Classic.
If you're watching this, it's either Saturday or Sunday.
Weekend Classic has already been going on.
There's going to be a Weekend Classic montage video on Monday,
and then we'll get back into it for season six later this week.
Can't wait, guys.

I'll see you guys in the next one.
That was bad, but I don't feel terrible about it
because I really don't like that Brody card.
And any other pitcher, me and that guy can run it back.
