Godfrey's goal gives San Diego upset win over Washington

Lindsey heaps. Pocket for Bernal. Dawn Loud! Kissed off the woodwork. Careens into the stand. Shifting a little bit. That was honestly the best shot of the day so far. An inch or two lower. That sneaks out of the bar and bounces in. Myers. Kentori got there but Godfrey. Chasing. Godfrey scores! She never gave up. She just continued to push and now San Diego's gone ahead. Look at this right here. Trini Byers picks up the ball and she just puts her head down and starts grinding towards the net. Lays that ball off for Leah Godfrey and assists on the night. As soon as she enters this match the power of Byers and then just Leah Godfrey continuing to put her name at the top of the list for rookie of the year. That is five goals on the season now for Leah Godfrey. A measure of finesse.
