We Better Keep this Beach a Secret!

What's up? Greetings from Blair here. Thanks for tuning in to Skid Hits. This week we have a couple
exciting new things for our channel. First off, we'd like to give a shout out to Andre Maganao
for editing and filming this entire video. We had a great time searching for waves on the beaches
that remain open in Laguna. The recent beach closures led us to look for some new spots and
skim waves that we would normally never even try to. So we got our exercise in, kept a safe
distance from John Weber and his new hairdo, made sure our sessions were short and sweet,
and got off the beach right after. We hope you too have found a good way to safely escape the house.
Thanks for tuning in.
Yeah, let's stop doing the other million things.
Look at this thing.
Why not? Maybe I should do it too, huh?
Spring has been off to a really weird start. We had a bunch of early season south swells
that shaped up the beaches really well and made them really good for skimming early on in the
season. So yeah, we've been stumbling upon places that normally aren't good for skimming this time
of year and lucking out with some surprisingly fun stuff. And other than that, another weird
thing about this spring was the red tide we've been experiencing. So you might notice in a couple
of these clips that the water looks kind of brown and muddy and it's not actually dirty from the
rain or anything else. It's just an algae bloom.
I wonder what's going to happen to our skin after this.
Because we did read that causes itching and irritation.
Blair almost went straight into the wall.
Let's see how's the angle from the pool.
Oh no, oh no, oh no. Maybe uh, maybe you're gonna glow at night. That would be tight.
I wasn't expecting that one. It was taking me straight into the rock.
That one's looking dank.
Baby, I'm just a mop to your old plane.
You know that loving you is fun. The train's ready.
Got no class, all attributes.
These people sent my history here. Um, do you know how this place came about?
I, you're gonna need to fact check me, but word on the street is that
Walt Disney built these things. And that lighthouse right there, my future house.
Um, the stairwell probably.
But yeah, that's, you're gonna have to fact check it, but that's word on the street.
That's the algae doo-doo pool. It's a little gross in there.
That almost looks like a fake drain. I'm scared to go into that one too.
