This Makes The Timberwolves UNSTOPPABLE...

So today we begin with this makes the Timberwolves unstoppable as today. We're going to talk about the mellow ball and the impact, believe it or not, he is already having on the Minnesota Timberwolves. Welcome back to the Timberwolves digest as always North America. I'm Dave DuBois and I bring you the latest Minnesota Timberwolves news trade reports, trade rumors, and of course, a whole, a lot of commentary wanted to start today's show out by asking you all a question, drop your comments in. I really want to know what the Minnesota Timberwolves fan actually really thinks of one lamello ball coming up on today's show. We're going to get into a podcast that Tim Connelly did, uh, just yesterday with John Krasinski. I've got some great quotes from Tim Connelly specifically about one lamello ball, as well as some Chris Finch. The hots on the mellow ball as well, but I want to know what you think. Do you believe lamello ball is going to make a huge impact on the Minnesota Timberwolves in this upcoming season? Now, on a personal note, I believe that lamello ball is absolutely the right person for Tim Connelly to have gone out and gotten, I think he actually fits in better with what the Timberwolves are doing than Giannis quite frankly would have lamello ball is absolutely the real deal with an asterisk next to it. And of course that asterisk is, can he stay healthy now, assuming lamello ball can stay healthy, these stats that you're actually looking at are pretty much what we can expect him to deliver for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the upcoming season, and maybe even a higher number when it actually comes to assist. Drop your comments in, I want to know what your thoughts and opinions are North America. Now we've all seen at this point, a bunch of videos with lamello and the ant man hanging out. Uh, we've seen videos of the Minnesota Timberwolves hanging out with Rudy Gobert in Paris. I thought we'd do something a little bit different today and give you a perspective from the guy that actually pulled the trigger on the deal in the first place, and that of course is one Tim Connelly, I think the thing that's been most impressive and most consistent, we've talked to several of his teammates and a bunch of his coaches in Lithuania and Australia, the consistent opinion was that the guy has no bad days. And quite frankly, when was the last time you actually saw lamello ball not actually smiling? I'm serious. Some guys can pass, he can actually play make, he can pass you into an open shot. You see the impact. Uh, you saw the impact last year. I don't think he gets enough credit for his ability to make others better. And that is precisely the point I wanted to make about lamello ball. I think one of the great things about lamello ball is he does make other people better around him. Just look at what the Charlotte Hornets did last year. Mellow ball, quite frankly, was the key to that success. Now, of course, the Charlotte Hornets finally had to get enough other pieces in place for people to really see that lamello ball can shine. When you think about what lamello balls had to do from a roster perspective with the Charlotte Hornets, since the start of his career, it's no wonder the Charlotte Hornets never really went anywhere, but this is a different team that lamello ball is actually coming to. It's coming to the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Timberwolves, quite frankly, are pretty stacked at this point, aren't they? So I totally believe that the impact that lamello ball will actually have on this team will excel what he did last season when Charlotte finally had a decent roster in place. Drop your comments in. I want to know what your thoughts and opinions are, North America. Okay, so some more Tim Connolly quotes for you all, and you all know that I absolutely love the job that Tim Connolly has done when everybody else zigs, he zags, and that's exactly what he did with making this particular move. I think his positivity has thus far been completely consistent, and that consistency with everything about Connolly continued like he has no bad days in the NBA, you play 82, you can't play 82 good games. Tim then goes on to talk about, and we'll pull this up for you all right now. It's the best job in the world, but you can, it still can be brutal. You can get in a three, you can get in at three in the morning. You're playing in half empty arenas at times, Sacramento for a guy or Memphis for a guy that plays with so much joy. I think beyond basketball fit with Ant, I think Ant is most responsive to joy and fun, and to have those two as a backcourt, we can't be more excited. The joy and fun piece, uh, basically covers people's, uh, all aspects of people's lives, if you're happy and you're joyful, quite frankly, you're going to do better in the gig that you currently have, and I think having Ant man there, who of course plays with a lot of joy, then you sprinkle in some lamello ball on top of it, asterix, if he can remain healthy, this Minnesota Timberwolves team at this point truly could be unstoppable because of the addition of lamello ball, just think about how much better Rudy go bear is going to be with the mellow ball on the team. Think about Jada McDaniels and how much better Jada McDaniels is going to be with the mellow ball on the team. Hell even think about head coach, Chris Finch, of course, at this point, as you all know, is going to have to adjust his style, uh, for this team to work. Chris Finch for, uh, um, based on all indications to this point, looks like he's absolutely willing to do that. So Chris Finch also said the following about lamello ball, uh, the other day. Infectious quality, and it shows in the way his new teammates, especially Anthony Edwards have already gravitated towards him. Look, I think those things right there, those statements by head coach, Chris Finch, and the statements by Tim Connolly on the John Krasinski podcast, certainly fall in line with everything I've seen personally and heard about lamello ball. There's a reason lamello balls Jersey was the most sold Jersey in the NBA for a very long time. The kids love the joy that quite frankly, lamello ball plays with love to get your thoughts, your opinions, North America, please go ahead and drop them in. That's all I've got for you today. As always for the Timberwolves digest, I'm Dave, wishing you all a tremendous rest of your sports viewing day.
