What's up everyone, it's Tony here and welcome to the Yacht Addiction YouTube channel.
Today I have the pleasure of touring Lady Joy. This is a Christensen super yacht built in the
United States and it was first delivered in 2007. The latest refit work was done in 2022
and this yacht is presented by Worth Avenue Yachts. So as you can see we're starting off
the back of the yacht where you'll see the swim platform and one of the jet skis that's stored
but we will make our way on board via the passerelle. So we're going to slip our shoes
off and make our way on board. You'll see on the aft deck we have two high gloss tables
with the seating that props around. We are going to be dealing with a little bit of traffic on this
tour. This is a very popular yacht. There's a lot of eyeballs that are interested and I just wanted
to show you how the staircase will lead us down to the swim platform. That door will also bring
into the lazarette in the engine room but we'll check that out later on. You'll also notice the
bar area and as mentioned we have an extremely elegant interior. This yacht is absolutely
stunning. It oozes class. So let's make our way inside. You're greeted by this beautiful entrance
and of course the formal main salon. I love how all the seating is facing each other and it's
really smart as well with the large tv. Sometimes the seats face each other but then you can't
actually watch the tv but I think this is configured in a very smart way where you can
watch the tv from any of the different sofas but also you could completely ignore it and just enjoy
the space for what it is. And then if we continue forward you'll find the formal dining room
and I love how these two areas are separated by all of the hardwoods.
This yacht has a very wide beam but even though you have a side deck on either side
this still feels incredibly spacious on the interior. You have a lot of volume to play with.
All right let's continue forward. This yacht also features a four-level elevator so we'll see that
in just a moment. This is the main foyer. You have the side access door right here and then the
elevator is right here. So this can take you to all levels including all the way up on the sun deck
and the owner's suite is located up on the main deck. Before we get there we will check out
the dayhead. Then you can also access the galley and crew area through this door right over here.
But through these double doors you'll step into the owner's office as this is absolutely stunning
and look at the detailing in the ceilings. And then we'll continue into the bedroom through
another door and this of course is the full beam of the yacht. We have drawers and closets
although this one is locked because the owner has their personal effects inside.
We have this massive ensuite with the toilet and bidet, the large tub which is jetted and then we
have one vanity on this side and you actually can walk all the way through. We have the shower right
here and then there's a door to the shower on the other side and I'll show you where that leads to.
You have another closet on this side, the second vanity and toilet and then of course the shower.
So these two halves of the ensuite do connect via the shower and as mentioned we can fit a lot
of guests on board. I believe upstairs the captain's cabin is finished to a guest-like quality
so you could use that for guests if you wanted to. And then we have five additional guest cabins
downstairs which we're going to head down to now. So heading down the hallway we'll find the first
cabin right here and I believe these are the VIPs with the king beds and I say these because we have
the exact same thing on the opposite side. So we'll call those cabins number two and three we'll say.
And then back here this is a smaller cabin with bunk beds. It's possible that you could use,
you might be able to use this as a nice crew cabin if you wanted to. Honestly I think they do
because there's a phone setup right here. Then across we have another cabin. You can always use
that space for staff that's not part of the crew. So say you have a nanny and a bodyguard something
like that either way it's nice to have that flexibility and it also of course works great
as a kids room. Now if we head back up the hallway over here is the landing for the elevator.
Then we have additional cabins on either side and here is a fantastic space to load up the kids.
We have the double bed, a single, and an additional Pullman. And once again it's mirrored on this side
so we have the double, the single, and the Pullman. So as you're going through once this video is done
I want you to count up how many guests you think we can actually fit on board
and then comment it down below. You can fit a lot of people in all these different beds.
And also this is always really smart from a yacht design perspective. You may have noticed
it in the hallway but you can access the crew area directly through this hallway. So there's
this door which is finished nicely and then the second watertight door. Then this will bring you
into the crew mess. As you can see it's a very large space. Here across is the laundry room
and then all the crew cabins will be up this hallway. And also back here it looks like we
have additional refrigeration. You actually have plenty on either side as well as the walk-in.
Here's a quick shot at one of the crew cabins. I like how the drawers are built in underneath
and they're en-suites. Then also while we're here let's head up the staircase which brings you into
the galley. So this is the door which brings you back out into the main foyer. You can see the
pantry space and then around the corner we have the galley and the chef is actively working so
we're going to stay out of his way. But this is the door that brings us back to the formal dining room.
You'll see additional cold storage here. Excuse me. Thank you so much. And then I actually I don't
think we need to go back down. You already saw all the guest cabins. So let's take this door
back out to the main foyer. So to recap we've seen all of the main deck. We've seen all of
the guest cabins. The beautiful owner suite and also the crew space and the galley. So now it's
time that we head upstairs. Obviously this yacht is very large. There's a lot of space to see.
Here is another day head and then as we head back once again you have the landing for the elevator
and then this is the sky lounge and we'll come back to the bar section in just a moment.
I'll give you a quick shot at the bridge and then back here this is the captain's cabin
and as mentioned it's finished very nicely in here.
Just adding to the flexibility of all the different cabins we talked about.
And you also probably saw it but we do have a piano on board in the sky lounge.
As you probably have noticed you just have high-end elements all throughout this vessel.
And then stepping out to the bridge deck aft we have this huge alfresco dining space.
Now let's head upstairs to the sun deck because this is another amazing area.
Starting all the way aft you'll see we have another jet ski that's stored here.
So there is a crane that's integrated nicely into the structure. We have the sun pads and the shade
overhead and as you can see the current owner is very fitness oriented so we have a lot of
toys in this area. Moving forward I love how we have the sun pads flanking either side of this
large hot tub and then as mentioned earlier the elevator does access every single deck
so it can open up all the way to this section. Then we have the bar stools built in all around
and it also looks like behind the bar we actually have the cold plunge.
So as you can see there are multiple places to enjoy an alfresco meal or just hang out and relax.
Now before we head back downstairs we're going to head all the way forward and check out the
foredeck and we can access it through this side on the starboard side and to protect yourself
from wind there is a door right here so when you're having a meal out here you can close off
that glass door and that'll stop any wind from coming from this section. And I saw that they
have a nice little display set up for the show. This is always a cool touch because it is great
to see some of the things you can set up on a charter or just when you're privately using it.
But here's one of the wing stations and then you'll see this beautiful arrangement
so if you want to have a romantic meal you could do so. And then up here this is more of the
business end where you have storage for supplies and equipment and also another crane so you can
store more toys and tenders right here. And then this of course is the side access door that brings
us into the bridge. And also if you're enjoying this Christensen super yacht tour thus far
please go ahead and leave a like on the video. Any type of engagement that you leave helps out
the channel so I greatly appreciate it. All right now we're going to head back downstairs and I
think we're going to go check out the engines. So head back down to the swim platform and then
through this door on the transom this is the easiest way to access the lazarette and the engine room.
So if we continue right down this will grant us access into the engine room.
These are MTU engines. They have the beautiful gray paint job. You'll see the generators on
either side. Now specifically this yacht comes with a pair of MTU 12V 4000 engines. These produce
1800 horsepower each. You have a top speed of 15 knots. You can cruise at 12 knots and you'll get
just shy of 2,000 nautical miles of range. And then we bypassed it before but as mentioned we
have a lazarette space with engineering spaces which you'll see on each side. Thank you. All
right so now I believe we've seen every single area. We're going to give you one more look at
this main salon. For me guys this is simply stunning. It's also very timeless. You can't
go wrong with an elegant space like this. Let me know what you think about it in the comment
section down below. Thank you of course to Worth Avenue Yachts for granting us access on board
and we will catch you next time.
