In this video we will explore some of the reasons ( 8 to be precise) why one should get into the terrarium building hobby.
I have been making terrariums for a while now and I thoroughly enjoy it. In fact this is the reason why I started a Youtube channel in the first place.
As a city dweller this is the best way I can get a piece of nature from the forest into my home.Due to its low footprint I do not have any space challenges. For starters a terrarium can be built at no cost. (Refer my terrarium for free video)
The building process is extremely engaging and creative and provides ample opportunities to develop your sketching, photography and video making skills, something that I like a lot about the hobby.
A closed terrarium is a self sustaining ecosystem that can help save water since after the initial watering a closed terrarium does not need to be watered again except during maintenance. It is also low on maintenance. Besides a bright spot in the house it practically needs no other daily care. which means that you can go on a vacation without having to worry about your plants in your terrarium.
Building a terrarium is like meditation. It involves the mind and the body and a feeling of being one with nature. It helps me relax and de-stress.
This living green art that is inspired by nature also looks cool in the living space of our house or apartment.
