Rusalka, Op. 114, is a famous Czech opera composed by Antonín Dvořák. It is based on Slavic mythology and tells the story of a water sprite known as Rusalka. With a libretto by Jaroslav Kvapil inspired by fairy tales by Karel Jaromír Erben and Božena Němcová, Rusalka became one of Dvořák's most successful operas.
