A wildlife photographer's dream!

I've been having somewhat of a wildlife photographer's dream up at the barn this summer.

Not only do we have the regular barn owls nesting here, but a grumpy pair of little owls have moved in and decided it's the perfect spot to raise their owlets!

It's been a whirlwind of a summer, countelss hours following this story as it unfolds, and now that it's over and the barn is empty, i'm ready to share that story with you!

GEAR USED - Sony Alpha A7riii with the 200-600mm f5.6-6.3

No owls were distrubed for these images or clips, i spend hundreds of hours waiting for glimpses of movement. I stand still and quietly behind 2m high stone walls. When i get lucky it's incredibly special, but it's always on the owls terms.

This footage is from earlier this year, i'm sharing now because the owls have fledged and i feel the sharing of this footage no looking puts this years owls at any risk of further distrubance.
