Residents of the occupied Donbass have become completely disillusioned with Russia; the region lives in a state of total hopelessness, asserts Z-propagandist Igor Gomolsky. He described the details on his Telegram channel. According to his data, the population feels abandoned, forgotten, and unwanted. Moscow, it turns out, doesn't care what's happening in the territories it has captured. "Frankly, the atmosphere of hopelessness in the 'DPR' was so thick and sticky, well, it was somewhere after Zakharchenko's assassination... The problem isn't even the Ukrainian middle strikes, but the feeling of uselessness that every Donetsk resident feels today. Sometimes you arrive to a shelling, and you can't get a word out of the witnesses... And this manifests itself in absolutely everything. Problems accumulate and go unresolved for years. 'Why don't you complain?' you ask. And they look at you like you're an idiot. 'We've complained a thousand times,' they say. Even where the price of the issue is a bucket of paint, nothing gets resolved... The Hornets flew in, and since then, only war correspondents, disparaged by everyone, have arrived," the propagandist said. He noted that tensions are rising in the occupied territories due to the coming winter. People understand that the situation will be very difficult, and the occupation "authorities" are making no preparations for it. "Everyone's waiting for winter to arrive and wondering what to stock up on. Local authorities should be issuing some kind of forecast or recommendations, but they're silent. It's like reading tea leaves," the Z-blogger fumed. Former Odessa deputy Igor Dimitriev, who defected to the Russian Federation says that Kremlin has suffered a mental breakdown over the so-called "SVO." Russia's top leadership has been in a bad mood for the past couple of months. Such changes in the Kremlin's mood, according to Dimitriev, are a harbinger of the war's imminent end. He fears that before that end, the regime will resort to desperate measures that will harm Russia. "Western media are circulating Vladimir Putin's alleged remark : 'They'll hang me.' The implication is that if the war ends without reaching the Donetsk region's borders, Russian patriots will be so outraged that they'll commit irreparable acts. Most likely, Westerners themselves invented this phrase, trying to explain such a stubborn desire to take Slovyansk and Kramatorsk at the cost of mobilization and economic crisis, although, you know, I'm ready to believe anything. Perhaps the Russian leadership has the same distorted understanding of public sentiment as they do of what's happening on the front lines. And yet, I still think they made this phrase up. But here's what's really happening: all my acquaintances who are in positions of authority attending meetings with senior officials—that is, the president and senior executives—say they've suddenly declined physically in recent months and are significantly less confident in front of the cameras. As it was described in relation to Mironov, it's a mental health issue, so this won't last as long as we previously thought. But in the time that remains, they could still cause trouble that will take decades to clean up," Dmitriev stated.
