The hosts engage with listeners through voicemails, blending humor and sincerity to discuss relationship announcements, potluck etiquette, and the emotional readiness for parenthood. The Jonas Brothers also share bachelor party memories, offer wedding advice, support a burnt-out doctor, and discuss their personal \"red flags\" and childhood nostalgia.
And that was our django!
Love it, love it.
We kind of came up with that, then it was turned into a song, yeah.
You did it.
Like, live, Joe.
We did it.
We're songwriters.
What can we say?
Alright, let's get to these voicemails.
I'm dying to give some advice.
Dying to give some advice that I shouldn't be giving.
My name's Julia, calling from New Hampshire.
I was at your Manchester, New Hampshire show the week before Christmas, had the best time.
You guys always joke that you are not always qualified to give advice, but I have a question
I think you're perfectly qualified for.
I got divorced last year, and that's okay, and pretty quickly after started seeing who
had previously been a very close friend, and I didn't really tell anyone, but it's been
a year, and now I still really haven't told anyone, because I feel like I waited too long,
and I'm not really sure if I should, like, hard launch it, or how to post it on social
media, because there's a lot of people who still don't even know I got divorced in the
first place.
I'm looking for advice on how to handle relationships kind of being seen from the outside, which
I know is something you're all familiar with.
So can't wait to hear your advice, and thanks so much for this podcast.
It makes me laugh every single time I put it on.
She's so sweet.
So sweet.
I love hearing that.
I will say that before we get to the advice, a real moment here.
We've been doing the podcast now for six years.
I think a few months.
Six months.
Maybe, give or take.
No, I think it's like two months, but my point is, now that it's out in the world, I've seen
some of the clips on TikTok and other places.
It does bring me a lot of joy to know that this podcast that we started is bringing people
joy.
Totally.
And it's fun for us, and I hope it continues to make people happy, because it's all that
we want to do.
And now to the advice.
I will say that I think this is an obstacle a lot of people have to navigate.
How do you post about your relationship online?
What does that look like?
Not just at the beginning, but during the relationship and otherwise.
In this scenario, given that there's the divorce aspect and then the new relationship, I kind
of feel like a simple, so here's a life update, period, and it's like, I got divorced this
last year.
You just kind of lay it out.
But start it with the thing of like, hey, so here's a life update.
Then people can be like, oh yeah, wow, it's a lot of information, and it's their information
to give.
But it doesn't have to be too, I don't know, you should chime in.
Me.
Everyone.
I think it's all, I think it's great advice.
Look, girl, we're trying to go viral, you know what I'm saying?
It's just a little fun idea.
You can be like, I can see the concept, be like, so this funny thing happened with me
and my friend.
And it's like a slideshow or it's like a beautiful photo.
It's like, we've been friends for so long.
And then cut to, you know, it's like the last slide, they're in love.
It's like, oh, and by the way, I got divorced.
That's good.
Oh, by the way, I am divorced.
These are all jokes.
We're joking.
I mean, look, my real advice, that's my fun advice.
Have fun with it.
The real advice, I think, if you're happy, that's all that matters.
And ultimately, if you're not trying to hurt the other party or if they're not necessarily
in your life.
That was good, Joe.
I know.
That's, I'm clocking that.
Yeah.
It's nice to be like, keep your side of the street clean.
Live your life.
Be happy.
Live your truth.
Life is waste.
I mean, of course people will say it's, well, it's too short.
Just be happy.
But like, that's, it's tough when you're like, oh, I got to hear from aunt Carol that she's
mad that I posted because she doesn't understand that people get divorced.
That's weird.
Well, aunt Carol, live your life.
I'll live mine.
I'm happy.
Hard launch that ----.
Yeah.
Even do a soft launch.
A little photo of hands holding.
Be like, DM me for details.
Life update coming soon.
But I'm happy.
And if you're happy, which sounds like you're very happy, live your best life.
And ultimately, like, trolls will troll even in the family dynamic.
True.
Or bring them to the concert next time we play and we'll help you hard launch it.
Yeah.
One side note about, about this too.
I feel like New Hampshire is having a moment.
It's big.
It's heavy, right?
Am I, am I the only one that's, I'm like, no, I'm hearing a lot about New Hampshire
right now.
People, people in the Hamptons this last weekend were saying like, oh yeah, we're going to
New Hampshire next weekend.
They're talking about New Hampshire.
Hamptons is talking about going to New Hampshire.
So that's interesting.
That's the thing.
And I'm not really a Hamptons guy.
So this is cool.
It's getting whale belt, but.
It is.
I'm okay with it.
It's getting whale belt.
I have no idea what that means.
It's getting popped Abercrombie collar, but now I know what you're talking about, Jim.
From there.
Okay.
Next voicemail.
Next voice.
Hey besties.
So I really want to ask you guys about, uh, what you think of potluck.
Um, this has been kind of an ongoing debate for my whole life.
Some people are really into them and like every single time they host people at their
house, they want it to be a potluck.
And then a couple of months ago, no, like if you're choosing to host, you know, it's
your responsibility to provide food, whether it's pizza or just snacks, drinks, whatever.
So what do you guys think of potluck?
Like, is it a special events only like friends giving only situation?
Wow.
This is a great question.
I do not believe luck has a surprisingly literal origin that dates back to the 16th century.
England long before it became associated with neighborhood block parties and plastic containers.
The literal meaning 1500 is the phrase originally referred to the luck of the pot in medieval
and Renaissance England.
Households would often keep a soup or stew pot constantly simmering on the hearth.
Sometimes called a perpetual stool, a stew, not stool.
When an unexpected guest arrived at mealtime, they were invited to take potluck, meaning
they would get whatever happened to be in the pot at the moment without any special preparation.
I'm going to stop you there.
This, this says a lot about her question.
It originates from a surprise guest.
A potluck shouldn't be like, like, Hey everybody, I'm having a potluck tonight.
Come by.
It's like, bring something.
It's like, girl, well, I guess that's where the surprise.
If I'm a surprise guest, it'd be like, Hey, Oh, grab a slice of pizza.
I don't want to have to be like, make something at home and come to my party.
Not every time.
The whole concept is that you have this simmering thing.
You don't know what's in it.
You go and you, you test your luck with the pot.
My point is that's fun.
I think also everybody can Uber eats their own food or Postmates, depending on who sponsors.
Group orders are great.
I think make it a mystery, mystery dessert.
So here's my concept.
I like it.
We create like a container that conceals the identity of the food.
Sounds like a TV show.
Right?
And you go and you, or you can just wear a blindfold, I guess, too.
For a Christmas one year, I got a charcuterie board for everybody that I loved.
It's a company and it's called cock tutoring boards.
It's in the shape of a phallic.
I'll let you figure that out.
That, however, a cock tutoring board party could be fun.
I have actually seen this where people bring like, like, you know, like a board,
like a wooden board, like to a party, but it could be anything.
So some, it's like meat and cheese.
It's like cotton candy board.
It's whatever.
Like it's a board.
It's a board party.
And you like line all the boards up.
My opinion is I'm going to, I'm going to drop some knowledge here, guys on,
because I have a lot of potluck knowledge because I've done this.
I've had a couple of potlucks in my day and lucky pots.
I'd say, look, I think if this friend is constantly like, they're like, hey,
we should do a potluck next Thursday.
And you guys are just coming off the heels of one on Friday.
She'd be like, girl, can we just Uber eats?
Cause this is getting out of hand.
I don't have that many recipes.
Somebody has their, somebody has their thing.
And if you do that weekly, it's like, it's, it takes the excitement away.
Yeah, exactly.
I'm also like once a month, once a month.
Let's just have this.
Okay.
That's the advice.
We're limiting the potluck to once a month.
No more than that.
That's it.
I totally agree with you on that.
All right.
Next.
You know,
I recently learned that every 36 minutes,
another child in the U S is diagnosed with cancer.
Think about that for a second.
Some of the bravest warriors you'll ever meet,
aren't professional athletes or superheroes,
but kids in this fight.
And every day,
these young warriors face challenges most adults couldn't even imagine.
Yet they continue to show up with incredible courage,
determination, and hope.
That's why we're proud to support Hyundai Hope on Wheels.
For the past 28 years with support from Hyundai,
their dealers and every new Hyundai sold,
Hope on Wheels has contributed over $300 million
to childhood cancer research,
helping save more than 40,000 kids.
But we're not done yet.
We need your help.

Hey,
gentlemen,
this is Emily from Georgia.
So I know all three of you guys are dads.
My husband and I have been married a few years,
been together quite a few,
and we're at the point of having conversations about kids.
So my question is,
how did you guys know that you were ready to have kids?
Or did you know you were ready or whatever that looked like?
So how did you guys know that you guys were ready to be dads?
Thanks.
Have a good day.
Hi,
Emily from Georgia.
Georgia's also kind of having a moment.
Well,
Nick disagrees.
I also disagree with myself,
except Millie Bobby Brown has a big farm.
I would like to visit that.
Oh,
she has so many animals.
So many animals.
I thought she was joking,
but she does have a lot of animals.
I think that's a very exciting time for you and your husband,
Emily.
That's,
those conversations are very big conversations.
It sounds like you guys are kind of at the point where you're in a
relationship where you're like,
all right,
are we ready?
Is it time?
I think it's,
to answer your question,
I feel like it's,
it sounds weird,
but it's a gut feeling.
It's just like,
Hey,
you know what Danielle said?
We had this conversation over the weekend and she said to our
friends,
she said,
the minute you start talking about having kids as a couple is when
you're on the precipice of being ready for kids.
Have you guys been testing out babies,
Emily?
Have you been holding babies recently?
Sometimes you get baby fever,
you know,
please don't ever say testing out babies.
Well,
I'm just saying,
you know what I'm saying?
You get what,
you get what I mean,
right?
I,
you're like,
this feels right.
This is a bad idea.
No,
this feels great.
Um,
I gotta say one of the most bizarre things when we were leaving the
hospital with multi Marie was the doctor said,
okay,
are you,
are you ready to take your baby home?
Like,
Nope.
And you're like,
what?
This is okay.
Like where's the manual?
Yeah.
There's like,
Hey,
the car seat is,
you know,
put in the car correctly.
And you're not allowed to,
at least in California,
you can't like,
no one can help you put the baby in the car seat.
You have to.
Yeah.
You have to do.
So then their last question is,
are you ready to take your baby home?
It's like,
what happens?
Someone's like,
I don't know.
It's crazy,
but it's a metaphor for a bigger thing,
which is like,
will you ever be ready?
You just have to do it.
Great question.
That's the thing.
A lot of friends who,
who are thinking about this situation,
Emily,
guys and girls who are like,
well,
maybe this could be it.
Maybe this like this time.
And I feel like to the core,
it's like,
as long as you and your partner,
whatever your situation is,
you're having that combo between you guys.
And you get in the itch,
test out some babies.
Just kidding.
I'm kidding.
Obviously.
I think we're all saying like,
if you're having the combo,
it might be,
the answer's there.
You're,
you're taking my grave.
Your cancel panic just now was so intense.
Me?
I'm kidding.
I'm good on it.
Cancel away kids.
All right.
Next up.
Cancel panic is the name of this episode.
You can wear a cancel panic pants.
It's like an adult diaper.
All right,
go ahead.
Next one.
Cancel panic at the disco.
Hey,
this is Nicole from Los Angeles.
I have a question.
I'm getting married in March and I'm doing my bachelorette a little bit early
because we want to be able to go do the Vegas pool parties.
But I'm curious to know if any of you had a traditional bachelor parties and
if you did,
where you went and if you have any special memories that you want to share
from one.
Bye guys.
Okay.
Can I just say something?
I feel like Los Angeles is having a moment.
I was going to disagree.
Have you guys heard of Los Angeles?
Vegas?
Apparently he's having a moment,
a traditional pool party.
I like that.
She says it like that.
You know what?
You make that sound so classy.
I will tell you what it ain't.
It is so sloppy and fun and you better prepare yourself.
I think you need to go all in,
have the best time in Vegas,
go all out.
Um,
but to answer your question,
any stories,
my bachelor party was in Ibiza.
We did have bachelor parties.
First of all,
Joe's was in Ibiza.
Whoa.
Uh,
here's a photo of Joe and his bachelor party.
Yes.
His shirt is torn.
Yes.
He has a crown of a 1942 on his head.
It was a trip.
We actually played a football soccer match in,
um,
the Ibiza team stadium.
It was a hundred degrees and we were all brutally hungover.
In the most Jonas Brothers thing we ever do though,
we fly home from your bachelor party and went to eight straight hours of press.
As it should be.
It was great.
My bachelor party was in the Bahamas.
It was a great time.
Here's a photo.
I,
for some reason I said we should all wear suits one night.
Um,
it's always a better idea on paper.
Yeah.
Um,
and then Kevin had a bachelor party,
but it was kind of cut short because what were we doing?
Something we had to perform at the Disney,
um,
Christmas parade.
You were,
you're so salty as you said that just now.
It was,
we'd like to,
I'm sorry,
I'm going to rephrase.
We got to fly to Orlando to perform for the Disney Christmas parade.
It was actually in Los Angeles or in California,
but by the way,
again,
Los Angeles.
It was in Orlando.
Uh,
it's in Orlando.
Then we took you to the Giants game,
which was fun.
We took you to the Giants game.
It was going to be so fun for her by the way.
I have zero photos from my time.
I'm so excited for her to go on this bachelorette party.
You're gonna have the best time.
In Vegas too?
Which DJ are you going to see?
Where should they go?
We should probably go see Marshmello if he's,
if he's on.
But my advice would be,
uh,
give yourself some time.
A couple hours between pool party and dinner.
That means disco nap.
Naps are important.
So you're going to,
you're going to go to the pool.
You're going to have stamina.
You're going to have some drinks.
You're going to have some fun.
Have some snacks at the pool.
And you should leave by like five or 35.
You should go take a nap for at least three hours.
Another thing is like a steam and sauna situation really helps.
Oh yeah.
But you should go all out.
It's going to be a lot of fun.
Have fun and have a great wedding.
Woohoo!
Totally.
Okay.
All right.
Do we have more moss?
My name is Darlene.
I am from San Diego,
California.
Um,
my fiance and I are getting married December 22nd this year,
and I am stuck in a super pickle.
Um,
not the pickles with Jolly Ranchers or whatever Tiffany Haddish was saying.
Um,
but,
uh,
if you guys had to pick between one of your two songs to walk down the aisle to,
um,
my first option would be love bugs,
which is my all time favorite song.
Um,
or I love me to have in the acoustic version.
They both speak to us.
They both speak to our relationship.
Wanted to get you guys advice on which one you guys would suggest.
That's great.
Congratulations.
My vote's kind of love bug.
I think,
you know,
as long as you don't get to the big,
like it should stop before the bridge.
There's a,
um,
guitar solo.
Or not.
Fireworks and a kiss.
That'd be great.
But you,
they have to still do the whole ceremony before the kiss.
they do it after.
They pick it back up.
Yeah.
It's like,
and then like a kiss.
Um,
there's a love bug.
What's the budget for this wedding?
Jazz version.
A love bug jazz version,
huh?
Yeah,
which is cool.
Jazzy love.
I would say love bug for sure.
I think that's the quintessential Jonas Brothers song and it's perfect for that
environment.
I agree with Joe.
Maybe don't do those.
Plus it's her favorite.
Yeah.
And love me to heaven feels a little,
a little high energy.
So you said the acoustic version though,
which I don't know which version is that?
Like,
have you heard?
I don't remember which one that is.
You've not heard that version.
I mean,
like I was there,
so I'm sure that we've released.
Yeah.
Oh,
there's this,
there's,
or you could do it.
You know what?
I just found a very suave burning up.
There's actually the ones,
uh,
the Bridgerton version of,
uh,
there you go.
That's a good idea.
Yeah.
You can do this.
It's getting wedding.
Where's the creator?
Shout her out.
Shout out.
Jade Gray.
Love this version.
I love it.
Here's the,
here's what we'll promise.
I like it.
Can she do love bug for her,
for her wedding?
Let's,
we'll see if we can make that great.
Perform that version at your wedding.
That'd be sick.
That'd be amazing.
Jade Gray,
very talented.
That's great.
Let's hear another voicemail.
Hi,
I am from Chicago.
I am listening to your,
Hey Jonas podcast on my way to work.
And I am just feeling really disillusioned and burned out.
I am a primary care doctor.
I work at a,
um,
low income,
uh,
sliding scale clinic,
uh,
doing amazing work.
Um,
I grew up in the neighborhood that I work in now.
Um,
but I'm just,
you know,
I'm really burnt out.
It is incredible work,
but it is really exhausting.
And I feel like lately with social media,
um,
primary care doctors have been painted in a very negative light.
And,
you know,
I really went into this field because I wanted to help people and I wanted to be there,
you know,
for families.
I've just been really struggling to get myself to get to work.
And you guys and your podcast just bring a lot of light into my mornings and,
and make me feel a little bit more motivated to go to work.
So thank you so much.
And just wondering how you guys push through,
you know,
the burnout phase of,
of doing something that you love,
but you're just exhausted.
thank you so much for all of you do that.
You do,
uh,
especially in the neighborhood that you grew up in.
That's so cool.
But at the same time,
as you said,
it be tough and it can burn you out and we need the doctors to stay strong
because we need you out there.
So thank you.
Piggyback on you.
Thank you so much for what you do.
And I can only imagine it's gotta be exhausting thing.
We can even hear you in the car.
It sounds like you're in traffic.
This is like a stressful season.
And also,
you know,
you're doing something amazing,
not only for people,
but also your community.
And yeah,
social media can be quite toxic as much as we can have fun with it and find
things that inspire us and make us laugh,
make us question things.
I think it's also look,
we,
our algorithms can easily put us into a lane of negativity and,
um,
we're sorry that's happening to you,
but you do matter.
And we really hope you,
you find something that you can do for yourself.
You deserve a moment of like relief,
maybe deleting social media for a little while might help putting it on a
timer or something on your phone.
It'd be like,
Hey,
I'm only going to check it like an hour a day or literally delete it for a
month or two just to see how you feel or a week,
just to see if it brings some clarity,
but a little treat yourself,
do something nice for yourself.
Whether that's taking yourself out for dinner.
I know that sounds weird,
doing something fun,
taking yourself to a movie,
reminding yourself that you are a person that needs care and love.
And you got to take care of that person because your work person and your
person person is different.
You know what I'll do to help us out.
We're gonna have two tickets waiting for you just to say,
thank you for what you do.
I'll make sure that happens.
Nice.
Love it.
It's kind of moments like these where I feel like the thing that we do
podcasts are our music.
And it seems so insignificant in comparison to the work that people are doing
in the healthcare space and beyond serving their community and,
and,
um,
helping people,
you know?
And,
and so I want to say first,
thank you for what you do.
Um,
please stay encouraged to,
because to Kevin's point,
um,
you know,
we,
we need our doctors to feel ready and willing and eager to,
to go to work and to help people and save lives.
um,
we need to continue to encourage people whose jobs are,
are not just important,
but critical,
critical to society as a whole.
So,
um,
in whatever way we can be helpful in that as insignificant as it feels to sit
and just talk on a podcast or make a song.
Um,
thank you for allowing us that opportunity to,
to bring some light into your world.
And please know that we don't take it for granted and that,
we wear it as a badge of honor to,
to get,
to bring some,
some light into your,
your very intense worlds.
Um,
and on that note,
Hey,
Jonas,
this is Cheyenne over in Portland,
Oregon.
I was calling for some advice.
My husband and I are celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary.
Nice.
And I do not know what to get him.
So maybe you can give me advice on what you guys think he would want.
He's a pretty chill guy.
He doesn't ask for a lot.
And,
um,
he's a really good dad of our two daughters.
And so,
yeah,
I just want to get him something special or do something activity wise.
So maybe you can give me some advice on that.
I know exactly what you should get him.
You should get an edible arrangement from our actual new sponsor.
Oh,
are we sponsored?
Sponsored by edible arrangement.
Look at this.
Are you kidding me?
I am not kidding.
Yep.
We did it.
The journey,
uh,
to get it.
By the way,
the perfect gift,
the perfect gift.
Who would not love this?
Here you go.
The gift that lasts about a couple of days.
And the kids will love it too.
The thought that lasts forever.
The gift that actually lasts a few days.
Nice.
give us,
give us a breakdown of what you got going on.
You got some chocolate.
Okay.
So it definitely looks chocolate covered strawberry.
Now that you're sponsored,
you should probably have a bite.
Um,
chocolate covered marshaws,
marshmallows.
And this is called the.
Marshaw bro.
Marsha.
Chocolate covered marshmallow.
Marsha.
Um,
this is actually the moco teeny.
So you should definitely.
What does that mean?
Is there coffee in there?
This is the name of this,
this beautiful thing is the moco.
Eat the marshmallow.
As everybody knows,
we are sponsored by edible arrangement.
And we feel like you should get your husband an edible arrangement with,
with something from his childhood.
I think you should go nostalgic.
He'll be like,
Oh my gosh,
how did you find this?
Like go to go on eBay for like 30 bucks.
Depending on your budget,
you can probably find like a toy he grew up with.
He'll be like,
that is call his mom or dad.
Or cousin or uncle or auntie.
Like,
yo,
what did he play with a lot?
And see if you can get that.
You might be able to find the Hulk.
Remember Hulk,
that stretchy Hulk.
Yep.
That was good.
What was it?
I also like the new game boys that you got me,
Joe,
that have all the games on them.
They're so good.
They have,
I have in my room.
I'm playing Pokemon right now.
Oh gee.
For everybody asking.
Yes,
this is the mocha teeny.
And you should order that.
Uh,
I think we should pull a question from this bowl.
Got it.
All game time.
What do you think is your biggest red flag?
Oh,
I'll start.
I can be messy.
Yes,
you can.
And I can be judgmental and also reactionary.
Is that what it is?
Well,
sure.
I'm working on it,
guys.
Working on it.
We were away this weekend when I made our bed at our friend's house.
Link,
like you did when you came to our house.
It was so nice.
Even Daniel mentioned,
he made his,
everything in his room is so,
so put together.
So nice.
I was hoping she noticed,
not going to lie.
She noticed.
Okay.
What's,
what's a red flag?
What's a red flag about you,
Joe?
Uh,
I thought we'd tell each other what the red flags were.
Oh,
Kevin's just telling us his though.
Yeah.
What's,
what's mine guys.
I think that's more dangerous though.
If I don't know,
I don't want to do that.
I think it's,
that's fun.
I think it's fun.
Uh,
like you're annoying as ****.
That's true.
Facts.
You're like really handsome and it's annoying.
Oh,
my wife's.
What's my red flag?
What's Joe's red flag?
What's my biggest red flag?
You don't have it.
There you go.
Priyanka.
Priyanka chopper.
Joe is,
if you,
are we really doing this?
Are we actually going to tell each other?
Yeah,
go for it.
What do I got?
It's okay.
I had no reflex to you're the only,
you're the only person,
not only person,
you,
you know,
every food place better than everybody else.
Oh,
that's annoying.
Yeah.
Sorry.
I'm bad at,
um,
relinquishing control to others and making a plan.
Yeah.
I'll,
I'll go to a city that either of you have been to,
lived in and literally lived in.
And I'll tell you where you should,
we should go for dinner.
That's,
that's,
I'm getting better at that,
but that's,
you know,
yeah,
I actually noticed that you are getting better at that.
Like it's okay.
Sometimes you got to go with the flow guys.
Okay.
Nick got to go.
Um,
where do you want to start?
No,
I mean,
well,
it's just,
I would probably say,
I would say maybe you're better at this,
but probably be okay with going with the flow.
Like you're not,
you're not great at going with the flow,
letting somebody else have control.
Yeah.
but in our world with so many voices all the time to like,
it can be tough.
Also like when something annoys me,
like I get like stuck on it.
I can't.
Yeah.
No.
When like,
it'll be water off my back.
And for you,
you'll be like,
if somebody,
if something,
somebody says something,
you're like,
that was annoying.
Nick would be like,
my day's ruined.
Yeah.
You can't move on past that.
I see.
That could be about any,
you get stuck.
You picked one.
What does it say?
What's a childhood food or snack that you still think about?
What is it?
Diet Coke Zero you're on?
No,
it's Coke Zero Summer.
Dunkaroos.
Love it.
Dunkaroos.
And remember the Red Baron focaccia with the four cheese
that we put in the microwave after school.
I will say Lunchables and Dunkaroos were and are still my favorite.
There was a time they came back around.
Nutty Buddies.
Remember these?
The wafer cookie that had chocolate?
You could like pull them apart.
I just had one for the first time in like 20 years,
maybe more yesterday.
And my head was like,
whoa.
Kevin,
you got a question?
Yeah.
I pulled one.
If you no longer had to sleep,
how would you spend those extra eight hours?
Play a lot of Fortnite.
Actually,
Nick,
you just went through this unintentionally for like a couple months.
So what'd you do with that extra eight hours?
I can't sleep eight hours.
I don't know.
Eight hours is a dream,
but it's not.
That'd be amazing.
I don't sleep eight hours.
What's your sleep,
Kev?
What numbers are we getting?
Seven to eight.
Remember,
he's got a fancy bed,
though.
Oh,
big update.
We got a hamster.
Oh,
you were about to get the hamster when I came to visit.
What's the hamster's name?
we got the hamster.
Hamster's name is River.
River.
Great name.
That's a great name.
I asked my husband,
why River?
He's like,
I don't know.
I was like,
why not?
Why not?
That's great.
She's so in love with this hamster,
and all she does is Valentina,
and she questions if it loves her every day.
Don't we all?
Do you think it loves me?
Do you think it loves my mom?
That is my wife's biggest question.
I would,
well,
I think I would probably,
and I'd get super jacked.
Okay.
Yeah.
Back to the eight hours of sleep.
I'd have a lot more time to exercise.
Four hours of extra workouts every day.
I'm lucky if I get some time in.
You've got kids.
You've got life stuff.
You guys are looking very vacated,
and I'm really proud of you.
Joe would like to read an excerpt
from his new favorite book.
This is Farts in the Wild by H.W. Schmelt.
Okay,
first tell the story of being on the plane
and this book going off.
This book is a gift to my daughters
from Greg Garbowsky and Paris Carney,
and classically,
like unks,
uncles and aunties,
unks,
unks and aunties.
Unks and aunts.
They don't think through some of these gifts,
like I would be carrying them in my carry-on.
And as we got up,
I hit a button.
Missionary button's here.
And a loud toot blasted over first class.
And everybody could hear the sound of my fart.
Book.
Okay,
let's leave our listeners with a nice excerpt.
Tell me when to stop, Kev.
Stop.
The Meerkat.
Big mobs of meerkats live in sprawling networks
of tunnels and chambers deep underground.
With so many meerkats living together,
a single meerkat fart can be amplified
and funneled into powerful geishers of funk.
Got it.
The tunnels are like a big twisty city with holes
that aren't just ways in and out.
These holes help release the fart pressure
before it blows.
Let's hear the fart.
Fantastic.
On that note,
buh-bye.
Buh-bye.
