MOVING WEEK IN MY LIFE 🏡 let's decorate the new house!!

Good morning y'all welcome back to another week in my life vlog. I'm about to head out to my workout I have everything packed up. I've been having the office feels like I'm like back in school Because I know some people would do it off Actually, it's not everyone picks out their outfit the night before but I love to pick out my outfit the night before have everything Good to go everything packed up. Anyway, i'm gonna wear this seductive set. I'm going to sculpt I just wear it's just been so hot out and Sometimes my sets are just like barely set. So if I like want to wear something over it I just wear these massive Abercrombie shirts today is a friend of mine's third birthday. And what's funny about a friend of mine's birthday is that I don't actually know what it is And I think originally I was supposed to launch september 5th and then it got pushed three days And then I thought it was september 8th but then I Got texts from friends that it was like their memories and they screenshot their first order. No, it was 6th september 6th. So You know, it's just kind of like a concept but we're doing like our birthday drop today And i'm bringing my birthday basket to the office and i'm gonna organize a little bit I definitely plan to get more stuff done around the office this weekend But we ended up just having like so much going on that I didn't even make it over One time to do that stuff. So we have some things to get done there last friday I got a ton of fabric to cover our boards, which is going to be so cute once I can like do Our L&S board. I'm very very excited about that one. So that'll be good I feel like it might be a slick back day. I might need to pull this All right, guys Back we go going to the lake this weekend and next weekend. I'm so Tired but anyways we're Moving the best part of a new home project is when you go in to see it the next morning Wow, I started back on my gallery wall for hosting I This was always the plan and then when I hung up in here wasn't actually things that I had hosted It was just photo shoots that we have a friend of mine. So I moved those to the office And then these are just all the different parties and memories and things I mean not every single one i've hosted because I don't have photos of a good chunk of them That's why I started hiring a photographer because I would spend so much time and effort on these parties and then I had like no photos And i'm such a like nostalgic memories girl So this just makes me so happy. So obviously eventually We have one that broke that charlie fixed that needs to go up over there. But eventually the entire wall will be full of Stuff from hosting which is really exciting. But anyway, I came out here to grab my birthday basket Because i'm bringing this to the office today the birthday basket is really everything this is like insane. Here we go It's just like I want to make sure it's tight There is no good news. We do the other side first and then if you use scissors i'll go ahead and cut. Yeah this Hold on. All right. Okay. Have you jumped this side first? We want to pull it. It's tight. You pull it tight on that side You also want to pre-cut it This is like the cheapest thing ever all this costs I think like 500 for all three of them I do think it's a little slanted So I guess we'll see big reveal. Oh, no, it's perfect. It looks good Great Oh, it looks amazing This is the best thing ever. We have two more to do It's just an insulation board With fabric that we staple guns. I saw it on tiktok. I know a lot of people do this, but Wow, so nice and it looks beautiful It's also great because like something of this size would just be so expensive and it was so like inexpensive compared to What it would like normally cost love this. Let's see again Oh, it looks good Yay, all right some updates we haven't done this board it's the afternoon now I did add on these ties Which I like a lot and they're fun because I don't like the curtains are just kind of like bland, you know But it did bring a lot more light in here, which is great Also, I went through my stash of stuff and I found all these old curtains that were like my aunts And honestly, I mean they would need to be like taken in but kind of love that So we're going through that This fabric is going to be as you guys probably saw last week or maybe earlier in this vlog That's going to be over the bulletin board in my office And then here i'm gonna have I was gonna do a gray malin print But I think the one I got is like too small for that area. So I actually don't know Exactly what i'm gonna do I am still wanting to do the gallery wall thing here and then i'm gonna do the cork board here So that's good And then we did Finish these so we did move this in here I'm going to have this board actually mounted and this is going to be like our lns if you will with all of our Canvases in here i'm going to get two lamps books fake florals the whole thing So that'll be good And then we have a lot of stuff because we're still mid moving We got a bunch of like fabrics and stuff back today, but this looks amazing I know i've already shown it but love that good morning y'all It is now wednesday it is 7 a.m. I'm heading out to my workout I strength i've talked about this a billion times, but I strength train three days a week and then I take strength sculpt I lift like very heavy I'm, like i'm a bodybuilder. No guys. I hate the way I said that but I lift heavy. I have been lifting for I don't know Yesterday's my 400th class. So probably like I think i've been going There for like five years at this point I can never remember when I started going and also even if i'm like, oh i've been going since 2022 I'm like two years ago, and then i'm like wait a second, you know, it's crazy, but I have become like very close friends This is not new This is like in the past couple like years at this point, but i've become very close friends with My friends that I work out with one like owns the gym and then just like other two friends of ours I love them and it's funny because like we actually do hang out at school Like one of them was the one who was here sunday night late or monday night late and is like in my fantasy league Like we actually hang out like outside of the gym and stuff, but it almost feels like school friends mainly because like I'm, like 10 years younger than them less than 10 years younger than a little no i'm 10 years younger than them and It's just like so fun. But anyway, I like me and my morning workout and this is our hack to doing the workout When you strength train you can like talk through the class So that really helps because when I go to school like strength sculpt, I love the class but i'm like I can't gossip with my friends like that sucks Here's the key though You just need to work out with your friends or be for the people you work out next to And then it's like every morning i'm going i'm like, oh i'm going to see my friends It's like not the workout, you know, and I actually love the workout. I genuinely like working out like i'm not Especially because I like what I like the kind of workouts that I do Strength training is just like the best because you can feel yourself getting better. It's like the best thing for you with aging It feels kind of like a sport or practice because i'm consistently Getting better and I can see that versus like of course if you're and I love pilates and stuff Like if you're in pilates, it's different because there's less markers and like your weights are like typically lower anyway So you can't really see the difference between like oh when I started I was doing five and now i'm doing like 40 You know what? I mean like you can see the actual difference and you can feel the difference and just in general like When you're like playing with kids or whatever like I notice it so much more Anyway, all that to say I highly recommend strength training highly recommend becoming friends People that you work out with because it makes it so much more fun guys You will never believe this. I watched practical magic last night for the first time ever I don't know how I had not seen that movie And how it was not like a staple of mine because that is so like my vibe of a movie Like I do not know how I haven't seen it Loved it charlie obsessed like how would charlie not seen it? He watches like every movie ever Anyway, great movie. I don't know how I was like I need to do a practical magic dinner party and do the whole thing. I do I do good morning y'all I'm at the office now. It's a couple hours later. It's 11 30. It just took a call Did a bunch of podcast stuff And we are about to head off not head off. We're about to hop on a wedding design call for our like general Invitations general vibe all those things. I want to get this done sooner rather than later because I might Like i'm very lucky because obviously I have like a home and hosting brand So there's certain vendors and stuff that I might have things made that are custom. I don't know that for a fact Um, but I want to get our stuff Done like sooner rather than later. So anyway, here's what i'm wearing today This is actually the top that we got engaged in i'm thinking about it But jeans these guys where are we buying jeans? I cannot find jeans I love my abercrombie curve love jeans, but like I need like a morgan stewart jean You know what i'm saying? Like I just need and I need them in every single color and I need them to be like straight leg And fit me perfectly and not stretch out And I like so desperately need them. So, please let me know I have Like it it would be to the point where like I Would like to try to do it as quiet as possible and it won't matter Yeah, that's cute That's fair, but it's like that's actually fair It actually drives me I look my whole family has it and like there's certain friends of mine that I like won't eat with But because I would never say something like I would never which I guess like whatever All right, we're getting on our design call Hello I'm so excited for this call. Sorry. Yeah. Yeah Okay, hayley So I really don't have as much of a vision around this as like you would think Place table card number things or something like that and like just like that have it in my brain I don't need to know exactly how it's like Gonna be die cut if I like need to make those decisions and it makes it so much easier on you Like we can do that. We actually are back in On like september 20th. I probably have a little bit better of an idea and we're starting to like book more stuff so I think that that will help me and there's of course things that I'll want to do that are like More personalized and stuff like we're gonna also write like an I would thank you like a note to every single person at their table Okay, i'm the last one in the office But my new chairs have arrived from wayfair and I think they're perfect for my office Let's see. Anyway chair is honestly comfortable. It's big which is what I needed Love this thing So i'm off to do my facial i'm gonna look crazy So i'll probably i'll probably talk to you guys tomorrow because my skin's gonna look absolutely insane Tomorrow is going to be a really big like setup day for the office. Good morning, y'all I got my granulating done yesterday and honestly, my skin is not even that red By far The best treatment i've ever gotten it makes your skin like so tight and your pores disappear They gave me this sheet mask. They said to do it last night and I didn't so i'm doing it now It's like 6 a.m. I'm up early to Stitch a little watch a podcast. Um, I can't work out this morning actually, so i'm gonna have A nice little morning at home getting ready. Okay. I don't know if That's kind of wrong. Oh god. Okay. I just felt like my skin had been looking really dull and also I've been meaning to get my granulating done Every month and now I mean i've got over a year until our wedding, but I think For prep and stuff I needed to start now and get into the routine of it. I'm not doing like bride like all the crazy like whatever stuff but I want to feel good and also it's just an excuse because That will just be in my everyday. So with that being said If you guys have done like skin prep or things for your wedding, what did you do? And what do you think was worth it? This is something that I just like would do period like I get my granulating done I I don't know. I become inconsistent with it, but i've got my granulating done probably five or six times also y'all My starter is so active It's perfect, I wish I was going to be home But I think we're going to date night because I would just try to bake some loaves for the lake house tomorrow but I don't think I'm going to be able to do that. So I can always bring her to the office Maybe I try Let's see Hi my girls we're at the office today I'm trying to get the remainder of the stuff That we can just like moved in on box. I got my new chairs I just need to move things away or around And organize to the best of my ability before we get like the rest of our stuff because we have Like two major shoot days next week. We'll have the whole team in town next week So there's only four of us, but we'll all be here So need to get all that situated. Um, I have a podcast recording day There's a bunch of events lots of meetings. Like it's just it's a busy week it's basically what i'm getting at also look at how perfect this is because like chicken's everywhere in this office because it's like Obviously iconic update on getting the office I think it was the best thing i've done because it is Just so much better to like leave my house and go somewhere and with friend of mine specifically One we're growing into like we just had so much stuff everywhere and like products and everything and I just needed it Laid out. So today i'm gonna move the chairs around We're gonna move the other chairs the pink stripe ones. I love those but I mentioned this before The fabric is terrible people only ever sat on those for the podcast and they're like stained all over and like no one not one Single time did they stain ever like anything when they were sitting on those chairs? So eventually as we develop friend of mine product, I will get those like refinished. I'm just kind of like holding out Until we do that. So i'm going to switch the chairs out We need to sell the boucle couch by boucle couch we're done with that trend And figure out that situation and then i'm gonna set up our like lns Which is going to be our board with all of our like needlepoint canvases and stuff And just get as many things done as possible. Um, because we have that shoot and stuff i'm not trying I mean also we like can't afford it, but i'm not trying to like furnish everything all at once because we need the space For the shoots and whatnot. So just going and getting stuff Situated we also got a speaker oh, this is not the speaker I brought over and Sorry, everyone. So now I can have music playing And the vibes are gonna be so good. And honestly, it already looks like really cute over here Like I like that vibe. So Anyway, I do really want to paint the cabinets Like so desperately they're fine. They're just like not my vibe but these are things that are just like Unfortunately not taking priority. However, they're a priority to me, you know, but like not to anyone and not to People who you know do the finances of this guy I'm the one who does the finances priority to me, but you know probably not a priority as far as like The other things that we need to be doing so that won't be happening anytime soon, but I do hope and pray that it happens All right, guys, my lips look insane because I don't have any makeup on and this is my outfit But we are going to start you and I are going to start decorating the friend of mine ellen s That's not our office only so we're just going to pin this you guys saw how we did this earlier And we're taking a bunch of needlepoint canvas. I also want to say so many of the pre-orders slash big massive restocks that we've placed For like the dolly garden canvas and all the like core stuff that you guys want and have asked for so many times They're finally starting to arrive. We've placed multiple orders like there's going to be a big restock Coming very soon. That's why you always want to get on restock notifications. And then there's another restock for Like christmas and whatever we have like multiple of them coming. So stay Tuned and if you are in lns, we do sell we'll say you guys can just go on our website. They're really convenient Also, these push pins are little pearls and i'm realizing now that these are not enough All right giving y'all some office updates this pillow it's like an old family pillow and then this one Is you guys know the story at this point? But anyway, I really like the new chairs I can't wait for something to be hanging there. I can't wait for the block to be painted And I love the rug So we're keeping this Now over here. This whole situation is still a big mess And honestly like it's gonna be kind of for a little bit but I love this. I cannot wait for this to be hung up on the wall and everything to be situated It's going to be incredible once it's actually like ready to go. Good morning y'all. It is friday. I have A workout soon. It's seven. I just spent an hour Stitching and listening to the calamity club I'm trying to finish it this weekend because I need to recap it on the podcast for y'all and Oh my god, it's so good. You have to listen to the audiobook. Anyway, um right now i'm about to Do a little like 20 minute clean out of my closet because I found that like My tops are a little unorganized that stuff's unorganized like falls back. Whatever so I need to go through to Um bag some stuff for donations. Oh, you know what I should wear it and I need to pack for the lake But I have a workout soon. I'm gonna wear these on the boat tomorrow I got these so excited. I haven't worn them like we were barely in the pool this summer granted We were gone And it still is warm enough For the next like probably month and a half two months to go in the pool here I mean, these are things that i'll have forever. We're going to the lake today as you guys know, but I'm gonna do a little like 20 minute donation of things really quickly because i'm trying to just do Like I find that with organizing your closet specifically you think you need like a full day and it takes you like an hour You know, so if I just do like 20 minute cleanups and stuff Then i'll be good, you know, and then I need To pick out what i'm gonna wear To work out and then i'm just gonna go straight to the office and get some stuff there and then come back here We need to Get some groceries because we're in charge of a couple meals While we're at the lake with my family. Also, it's like i'll wear this but I wear this like every day So I don't even know where the shorts are for it All right, so this is done and set up this is our new like murphy bed situation You pull this drawer all the way out and then you bring that down and then there's the mattress But it's not my like favorite looking thing ever. I mean, it's fine Really? What drives me crazy is the black doors like guys What color should I be painting these because that has to happen stat anyway This will be cute to have like a painting of over it and books and like florals and all that stuff. So Really cute and nice. We'll add a cute little rug in here and then Depending like this room will probably be like more of a flex room Which is like over time it'll kind of just be like whatever we need it to be It might end up being another like communal workplace We might get like a rug and like a big table where people can work back here So we have like different working spaces and they can take calls and everything but I'm, glad that is done. Finally Guys office update here. We are things are looking Way better. I hung this up this morning This is the greatest thing that we've ever done. I have this stuff This will be reupholstered best couch ever need to think figure out what's going to go up there Same situation. This is going to be the ottoman entry table design book wall Obviously the dream would be to I don't even think I would necessarily need to paint like I think we can make the kitchen work But the black doors and stuff like that's got to go So I need paint suggestions Um, and then eventually we'll replace these chairs too, but they're just here for the time being this is our little situation over here More books coffee station, which we'll have set up We are gonna do like fun things for snacks and everything. This eventually will be like a plate wall of some sort We haven't really done much outside Um, this is gonna be you know slowly, but surely we're getting over there. My dream would be To take our silk scarves and have them framed and have them go down this Office or this hallway, so that's the dream Over here. We have a bunch of our mahjong mats. We're gonna hang them. We got something to hang them up here Which would be cute. I want new chairs I would love to wallpaper this room like so much. So that's also the dream We have tassels coming to make this cuter. This is our lns wall that you guys saw yesterday That's looking great And then over here. Oh my office. I don't know if i've already said all this but you guys have seen this throughout the week Still deciding on that stuff, but that's what we have here. We still need to cover that and then down this hallway I finally Kind of like fixed it up a little bit today that's the guest room situation or not the guest room, but Pull up at situation and then we have some extra like this is like Vintage like this is like stuff that my mom and my grandma made for their company forever ago So and then we have all that which will be nice And that is the update for the office Currently so I'm, like yeah, everything's coming along. We need to paint these This is like the one thing that i'm like I actually would want to do that sooner rather than later because it just like Is really throwing off the vibe see how it looks too modern.
