The creator vlogs a trip to Manchester for a Jo Malone event with her dog, Barney, while sharing updates on her pregnancy and home renovations. The content blends luxury shopping and beauty routines with personal reflections on pregnancy losses, health scares, and the practicalities of preparing a home for a new baby.
Hello guys, welcome back to my channel, welcome back to a new vlog. I'm starting the vlog
actually in the car today and I've got my sidekick Barney there. We're trying out this new,
I mean I actually think legally you're meant to have some kind of divide partition like this
anyway in the boot. I don't know if you can even see him here but there's a, I bought like this
metal grid thing and it comes with the partition which I've talked about maybe putting up in the
boot so that we've got space for Pram when baby arrives. But I don't know if he's going to have
enough space to do that. So we'll figure that out when the time comes. But yeah, you can just
about see him through there. But anyway, yes I am with Barney and we're actually in Manchester
for an event with the dogs, which is so exciting. I say an event, it's actually more one-to-one
appointments with Jo Malone, which is so exciting because I've seen that they've brought out a
dog wash and I was going to try it anyway. They invited us down for a little appointment to
give it a little sniff test and bring our dogs along. I don't know what's in store,
I think it's just like a kind of like I say one-to-one that they're doing throughout the
whole day. So our slot is in about 50 minutes, we've got time to kill. I thought I would get
here, park up, give him a stretch of the legs, have a browse of the shops. I want to go to the
White Company, I've got a voucher for in there that I want to potentially use and I know they're
dog friendly. And where else? I need a bite to eat, if I'm honest with you. So I might go to
Dale's first because they've brought out their new autumn menu with a couple of items that look
delicious. They've brought out, what have they brought? I love their ham and cheese croissant,
but they've brought a kimchi and cheese croissant option. Is kimchi spicy? And also can I have that
in pregnancy? I'm literally just Googling everything, no signal in here, brilliant.
What else did they bring out? Some kind of lemon, I can't remember which doesn't sound
very autumnal does it? But some kind of like upside down, is it lemon? I can't remember.
And then also pumpkin spice latte, so I'll see if they can do a decaf one of those.
So we might go there first actually, grab a bite to eat for lunch, see how we're doing on time
and then hang around that area. It's the same area, the Jo Malone store in Manchester is
beautiful by the way, it's two stories. I don't know if the, it's kind of like the downstairs
is the store, upstairs is more where they have like the event space, which might be probably
where we are today. It's on King Street, so there's also, White Company is on King Street,
there's also an American Vintage there that I might pop in. I'm sure they'll let Barney in,
if not then we'll just have to pick and choose where we can go today with this one.
But I'm looking forward to a couple of hours spent in town with my baby boy. If I'd have
had more time, there's a bit, there's a couple of lunch places that I really want to try in
Manchester that I haven't tried yet. We went to one last weekend, last weekend with Tom's family
and it was really nice. So just a little recommendation from me. I think I posted a
photo on Instagram, but did I get any videos of the food? If I did, I'll overlay them here,
but we went to a place called Kalos. You have to know it's there and it's Greek and it was honestly
delicious. The flatbreads that they do, so yum. There's so many lunch places in Manchester that
I'd love to try, so sticking with the Gale's today kind of feels boring because I'm used to
Gale's. I go to Gale's all the time. I haven't tried their new autumn menu out, so, and I need
convenience and time sensitive because of the event, event appointment at Jo Malone. So that's
on the agenda today. I also need to, when we get back, I don't know if you're going to help us or not,
we need to do a bit of a clear out of the black room because it's getting painted. Hopefully within
the next few days the painters will start. They have said that it's more than a day's job, which
we were hoping they'd just be in and out in a day, but no, it's going to be two or three days I think.
So, um, I think because we're going from black to beige one by Lick, it might need a mist coat, but
it's more the prep work of taping up. They've obviously got the bookcase to do. Yeah, so our job
is to empty out that room. I'm just going to box everything up, even if not today. If today's just
clearing out that room, I might have a bit of a clear out of the stuff because long term with
that being family room, playroom, my idea isn't to make the bookshelf styled how I had it before,
but rather child-friendly baskets, books, toys even. So it's going to be a bit of a transformation
in there. It's been beautiful adult only space whilst it's lasted, but honestly we barely use it
and I think it actually is going to get far more use as a playroom family room. So as nice as it's
been, it's time for a refresh in that room. So project black snug front room into playroom
is underway. And I think actually Tom's out for dinner tonight with some friends for a friend,
friend of his birthday. Bit of a lads do. I don't think it's going to be a late one,
but it just means that I've got the evening to potentially have a bit of a cozy one. There's
honestly nothing better than a solo, a solo evening where you've got free reign of the remote control.
You can have whatever food you want, whatever snacks, whatever desserts. It's easy peasy,
lemon squeezy. So anyway, let's pack up, pack up? Let's pay to park is what I'm trying to get at
and go have a mooch in Manchester. Little joint outfit of the day. We've got Barney
in his Barbalead and Connor collar. I've got a dress from Pretty Lavish on and a shirt just
from Primark and my French market bag that I picked up in Nice. And then my shoes are from
a brand called Vivaya. They're like a pretty, like kind of clear mesh. Quite nice for this
time of year where it's still quite warm. Here we are straight onto King street. We're going to go
to Gale's first because I need the toilet. Feels like literally every hour of my life at the moment.
Find a toilet because I need a wee. And then we'll probably actually head straight to the
event after Gale's because of time. Do a bit of shopping afterwards. But it's actually really
pleasant today. It's overcast. It's not too hot and it's not too cold either.
Right. Unfortunately they didn't have the, they can't do the pumpkin spice with their decaf
because it's made with cold brew. So I just got a little cortado, decaf cortado. And then I went for
this mushroom new one, a little pastry. I have a little nibble on that. Although I'm looking at
that cheese and I'm like, am I allowed that cheese? This one is waiting patiently as if I've
got a little pup cup. I have got some treats though. Want a treat? Right. I've just Googled
it. I can't eat this. Gutted. I'm going to have to go and get something else. I can't believe I've
just done that. Right. Okay. Well that's going back to Gale's bag and Tom's going to have that
when we get back. That's when they'll go and roll in something because they don't like it. Yeah,
of course. Um, so yeah, so it's nice that, um, Maureen has very kindly been here spaying
Saturday or Sunday. So there's going to be. Oh, he's going to drool all over you.
Last stop before heading home because I'm all shopped out now, but I'm going to go to
I'm going to see if they can do a decaf, um, not matcha though, but we'll try the coffee,
see if it's any good. Barney's off the lead at the minute, so hopefully he'll stay by my side,
but my hands are full. Oh, wow. That is, um, just like a cinnamon bun. I love it.
It's got like cream cheese. Really good. Oh, absolutely. Exhausted. Cream. Crackered.
They have been a few hours though, but this is like a dessert in a cup. It is sweet,
but it is delicious. I like the amount of cinnamon in it. It's quite spicy,
but that like cream cheese that they've got. So good. Delish. Right. Let's get back home then,
shall we? And let's hope the traffic isn't too bad, but you never know coming home from town
at this time of day. Oh, right. Off we go. So you want to get home and I have got a little,
well, a few actually, bags in there to show you bits and bobs that I picked up.
It's so funny. We've only just walked through the door and he's still gone to grab me a toy.
You have been with me, silly. Oh my goodness. Glad to be home. I've got a Zara box there. In
fact, I'm waiting on one more and then I might do a Zara haul because I may have shopped the
kids in the home section too. And I feel like there could be some cute things that you want
to see in there. Plus they've got some amazing like jackets and stuff in at the minute.
So I ordered quite a few just to try, you know, trial and error with bump growing. Right,
let me put you down somewhere. At the end of the day, I just feel so like
big and I'm like, how have I got a few months left? How, how, how? I've also got a new pregnancy
symptom in case you were interested in knowing the ins and outs of my pregnancy. If anyone's
also feeling the same or has ever experienced the same, I actually Googled it and there is
a term for it, carpal tunnel. The last couple of nights I've woken up in the middle of the night
with pins and needles in my arms and hands, like my forearms. And I'm like, what is that? That
must be related to pregnancy. And turns out it is. It's something to do with the fact that I'm
like sleeping like this or, you know, like my wrists are, I just need to sleep with them straight
up. I can't sleep on my back, I have to be on my side. Anyway, pregnancy's a journey, isn't it?
But, um, what a lovely few hours in town. I thought I'd show you the, um, bits that I did
pick up, obviously Jo Malone. And then I've also got something from the White Company and
American Vintage. So one of the main reasons why we went in obviously was for Jo Malone. So I'll
start there. And we did have a little sniff. Barney was on his best behavior. He sat and
posed for a photo. Very cute of him. He doesn't even know where his cameras are. He does. Had a
little sniff of the product and it smells so good. And how beautiful. This is the wild wash
collaboration that they've done. Dog shampoo. I was telling them they ought to do like a dog cologne
as well. Um, but yeah, this is orange, orange and cedar wood. The full collection. Wow. It
retails for £18. I thought it was going to be more expensive than that. So that's not too bad.
Each bottle features an illustration of one of four dog breeds. So which dog breed are we going
to have inside? They also had pet illustrations. I would tell you this, but, well, I will tell you
this, but it's irrelevant now because tomorrow, so this video isn't going live by tomorrow.
I'll share it on my Instagram, but tomorrow, um, it's open to anyone to go and get a portrait done
as well. So, uh, a little Barney portrait with ink. She's so talented. And she just did it so
quickly. And inside we have, oh, I've just seen the little label as well. Barney. Oh, and look,
a little biscuit in here. A little Frenchie, which I guess, yes, that's the one that I got.
Um, it's, um, Tom Hardy works for Jo Malone and he has a Frenchie. I'm pretty sure in saying that
this is a biscuit, but this is a biscuit for mummy. Sorry. This is for you though.
How cute. It smells so nice. Like a dog shampoo is, um, dog shampoos are quite heavily scented,
but sometimes they're like artificial scented. This is just, it's like a Jo Malone perfume,
honestly. And then they've also actually included a cologne for me inside. And this is one of my
favorites ever since they did a collaboration with Paddington bear and the bottle was blue
orange marmalade. I've shown it here before. I mean, um, I use it, but now I'm going to use
it more sparingly knowing that no sparingly is the opposite of what I'm trying to say.
Use it a lot. Sparingly is lightly, right? This is baby brain ticking into it. Using in small
amounts. Yes. So I'm not going to use it sparingly like I have been. I'm going to use it liberally
now that I know that I've got another one. White company, I had a voucher, so I used it up and I
wanted to get, if you remember in my autumn decorate with me video on this dining table,
I was saying could do with like a really nice and large perfume, perfume candle. Like when we've
got our Halloween party and people over to have a nice scent burning so that it's not, because
obviously this time of the year is, is candles. Like that's just the definition of autumn is
candles. And we've got a lot of pumpkin spice candles going on. None of which I actually burn
really. I burn a couple of them, but not the ones that heavily scented, but I will burn
a single autumn scent from the white company. And I actually don't think I've owned this candle
before the autumn scent. And it is beautiful. It's quite fruity, pear, quince and apricot.
That's the large one. And then I've got the oil to go with it, which I can pop in our diffuser
so that when you come in the house, you can smell it. But then in here we have a candle burning.
Oh my gosh. Sorry. I feel like I'm so out of breath all the time. American Vintage,
I can just about still fit in this. And I thought this would be a great one to have for future,
because I love American Vintage for their tracksuits. I've got the Ative in grey and navy,
and this one's just a bit more of a, the Ative is lovely and I still love it. And it's still
gorge, but I wear that one more. I would wear that out and about. It's thicker.
This is more like a pyjama-y tracksuit. It's that thin and soft and lightweight.
So I did go for the, I just went for the largest size they had in the bottoms, which is fine. And
they're quite long. So this actually fits me above bump. I'm just worried that as bump gets bigger,
it might be, I mean, the drawstrings are on their end already. Wide leg, nice and comfy and floaty.
So I went for the joggers. They're an investment, American Vintage, but the quality,
it's always the one that when it's in the wash, I miss. I did pick up two of the top options.
They had a hoodie, a zip-up hoodie, which I didn't go for. But I went for the t-shirt,
which obviously you could just wear with jeans and stuff anyway. And then I also picked up the
long sleeve. It's so soft. It is so, so soft. And that's everything that I picked up. A successful
trip, I would say. Anyone else do this? They repackage up something that's new. I've always
done it. Always. It's like growing up, getting something as a kid for Christmas. I just,
I put it back in its packaging. I don't know why I do that.
We're going to have a power hour probably of clearing out that black room,
moving everything through and cracking on before Tom heads out to go see his friends. So
I'm going to crack on with that. I'll show you what it looks like once we've done it,
which might be a bit crazy and a bit disruptive ahead of a beautifully aesthetic autumn decorate
with me video. I'm going to turn the house upside down again and it's going to look like we're
moving out. But it needs to get done and it needs to get done ahead of the weekend ideally. Well,
painters and decorators are coming in on Monday. And this weekend, I suppose we could do some of
it tomorrow if I feel like we don't get it all done. Although Tom's got plans to sort out the
garden. He's just had a massive soil delivery. I don't know what that's for, but I think is he
might be leveling some areas out. He's got plans. Tom's got plans with the garden. I'm just like,
you know what you crack on. We've got to basically, I'll show you. As far as I'm aware,
he wants to section off this area. Can you see where all the trees just drop loads of
twigs and stuff? It's not even the season of leaves falling yet. I mean, we're getting there.
You can see a few on the grass, but that area just gets absolutely covered. So the plan is to
actually bark this area. We're going to put some decorative bark down, maybe even, and somehow
along here do a join whereby that's bark and this is gravel. Maybe do a little walkway up here or
down here on the grass, not sure yet, because that needs redoing in terms of the grass not growing.
We've tried. You can see the little patches of mud starting to come through already. So
we are going to do some kind of border, but actually, to be fair, after a bit of rain,
what a transformation the grass has had. It's like it's just come back to life. So vibrant.
We're just so not used to this summer seeing green grass. So it's really nice to see. But yeah,
this area really struggles with the grass because it's all just shaded the whole time. So we're
going to do some kind of border along there, this bit barked and a little pathway either along here
or along here to a sauna, an outdoor sauna. I'd quite like the idea of having a little,
like a dual sauna where you've got a sauna on one side and we've got the loomy ice bath that
we can inflate and pop on the other side so that we can do like a little ice bath into sauna
situation. Won't be doing that anytime soon, but for future, I think that'd be really fun. So
yeah, I don't know what he's bought the soil for though. I'll have to ask him tomorrow when he's
sorting that out. But are you back home overlooking your kingdom?
Where's the birdie? Where's the squirrel? There isn't anything. And then we've also had a quote
for a canvas roll to be added here, um, which will just help shut away and close up the kind
of outdoor kitchen for storage. Cause you can see all the little storage bits and bobs that we've
got in there. They actually won't be in there because we bought a shed, which is going to hide
behind this building that's due to arrive in a week or so. Within the next few weeks, I'll have a
couple of updates. We've got some builders coming to help us sort out the bark along here. I'm going
to have to cover him cause I think he's about to go for a number two. Yeah, he is. And then we're
going to have a shed over here that's going to get built for storage. We're going to have the canvas
added here. And then we've got a couple of, um, just little bits in, in the house and at the
front of the house, which I probably won't show, um, that need sorting out as well. So yeah,
we're going to be back to having builders in for a couple of weeks, uh, all ahead of, I've been
advised cause we're going to get a skip on the drive as well. All ahead of our baby shower in
October, kind of like Halloween party, but your ears flipped back. You need to flip that ear.
Oh, it's gone. Good boy. Come on then back inside. We have been busy emptying out this room,
ready for the painters to come in. I thought I'd show you before, just before,
just before we have it painted. So this is how the room is currently looking. We have decided to go
with painting basically all of the black walls and any black you can see apart from the doors
will get painted. And we've gone with the paint, the same one as our bedroom, which is beige
Oh one by Lick. I think I'm just going to leave inside the cupboards. They're full
and rather than empty all of those out, it doesn't really bother me that they're black
on the inside. So they'll probably just stay as they are. Just another angle so that you can see
what it is looking like. We'll obviously cover the sofa. And if you're wondering where all this
stuff has gone, stressful, but here it is. This is literally the content of what was in that black
room and quite a lot of books, home decor, books, tables, baskets, pots, prams, Moses basket.
So hopefully the painting won't take too long so that we can have a bit of order restored
in this room. Not ideal, but gone is the aesthetic autumn decorations. And now we just look like
again, I said earlier, like we're moving house. I suppose I could start clearing out bits and
bobs now. Do you know what I've realized editing the last few videos that I've done? I say I'm in
a habit of saying bits and bobs a lot. Has anyone else picked up on that? It's, it's weird as a
content creator, you go through these phases and you notice it when you edit videos back
that you repeat certain words and phrases before long. There's another one that you say
on repeat. Bits and bobs is one that I've been saying a lot lately. So apologies if you have
picked up on that, I'll try and note to self to just reign that in. So we've got all our bits
and bobs everywhere. The house has been flipped upside down. It looks like it down here anyway.
New carpet coming actually very soon, which is exciting. That's getting fit within the next
two, three weeks. I'm gutted that the carpet that we had before is discontinued because I
would have just changed the stair runner where we've got a few stains and our bedroom and then
done a new carpet for the nursery. So it would have been two rooms and a staircase, but instead,
because it won't match, I've had to replace the full lot. And hopefully I've chosen a carpet that
is quite a stable one in their line. It's cool my carpets again, but it's one that they've had for
a while. So hopefully there's no plans to discontinue that so that if ever we did need
to just replace the staircase, which gets more heavy traffic or the hallway, then we can do that
and it all still match. So they're coming to do the bedrooms,
which is the nursery, our master, my filming room, and the fourth room, which is actually
above the garage. We've got storage up there and at the moment it's just the plasterboard
that the builders have used and it's a bit dusty. So we thought we'd put a really cheap,
thin carpet up there, make it feel a bit more like an actual room. And I mean, it was only,
I think that whole space to do that whole space, including labour and the carpet was about 200
pounds. So it's a budget one, but it doesn't need to be thick and plush and gorgeous. It just is a
simple beige carpets go up there. And they're going to do that in a couple of weeks. And then
the week after they'll be back to do the stairway, the staircase and the hallways. And we can start
maybe thinking about more furniture items for the nursery, because I just wanted to kind of
get that done first before actually putting furniture in, storing the bits and bobs for baby
up in that room. What are we going to have for dinner? It's approaching dinner time. Tom's about
to head out. I'm going to get comfy, get my cozies on, take my makeup off, throw my hair up, find
something good on TV. And I might even treat myself to all drinks. We usually have fish today,
but we've got some from the fresh fishmonger from the van that comes to our house every Friday.
But we're going to have that tomorrow instead because Tom's out tonight. So
tonight could be the night to just have a little treat. I don't even know what I fancy.
I think September would be my favourite month if it weren't for those eight legged,
creepy, crawly friends. A spider's a spider, right? But we've been getting
monsters. I think we've had four already this year. Is it global warming? Are they swelling
in the heat? I don't know what, but they are huge. And this morning when I was making, it's always
when I'm making the bed and I'm picking up the throw and I'm like, I've even put the throw up
somewhere so that thinking a spider won't get in it. No, today a spider managed to get in it. So now
without fail, I'm back in that routine of making the bed, getting the throw in cushions like this
from afar, checking it before putting it on the bed. Because thank goodness Tom was in this morning
when I threw the throw on the bed, massive spider in our bed. And I thought there's no way
I need to get that spider because I'm not sleeping there. I'm moving out of that bedroom,
potentially moving out of this house and never coming back. The thought of a spider that big in
your bed, they are big guys. They're thick, big, fast. And do you know what I keep telling myself?
They're a mom looking for a cozy home to raise her babies. So there's no killing of the spiders.
We always try and capture and release. However, there's only room for one mama and her baby in
this household. Speaking of moms and babies, I've had it a couple of times now at this pregnancy,
but I had it again today and it's just one of those situations that I just, I'm sure anyone
that has ever experienced loss and gone on to have a pregnancy and a healthy baby, hopefully
this one is healthy and sticks and is happy and makes it full term and we're all good. But I just
want to touch everything in sight. But when someone says, is it your first? And so it makes
me emotional because it's like pregnancy hormones kicking in. Yes, it's my first,
but then there's a part of me that will say, well, hopefully because baby's not here yet.
But then also a part of me is like, it's not my first, it's my third. Why am I getting emotional?
It's like, you don't want to undermine the fact that you, well, I'm going to take my makeup off.
There we go. Bit of mist and water to rub the eyes.
But yeah, cause it's, it's like an innocent, like friendly question.
Um, that, well, it will be my first baby, earth side, but ultimately it's like,
you don't want to undermine the fact that you've had two more or other, other babies in your belly.
And in fact, it was actually one of those things that was kind of like reassuring when, um,
there was one occasion when I went to pregnancy yoga and, um, we were talking about it and
sort of going around and introducing ourselves. Is it our first, blah, blah, blah. And I sort of
said, yes. Um, hi, I'm Freya, 20, however many weeks I was at the time. And yes, this will be
my first baby is how I worded it. And then someone next to me said, she was actually like pretty much
near her due date. And she said, um, first baby, third pregnancy. And I was like, Oh,
that's a really nice way to word it. Cause you kind of, you're acknowledging your previous
pregnancies. And in that scenario where there are other pregnant ladies, it was reassuring. So I
sort of like said me too, like I wanted to kind of reassure and be vulnerable in that moment.
And I felt like I could, but when someone else is just asking like, Oh, first, first baby.
And you want to say, yeah, but third pregnancy, um, you don't want to bring the mood down or make
them feel bad for asking. So I just go, yeah, this will be my first baby. Um, and then again,
like I want to say, but hopefully I don't want to tempt fate or jinx anything, but, uh, anyway,
pregnancy chat over. That's just be grateful for every kick and movement that I get.
I did, um, have a little worry the other day. I went in for just a quick monitor,
just to check the heartbeat again, because I'd had reduced movements because now that I'm getting
into like a cycle of regular pattern, not, not even necessarily regular patterns with me. It's
I'm recognizing how often my baby is moving because I can feel them now that, um, I'd,
I'd gone a full afternoon and evening without feeling anything. And I was just a bit worried.
So I called up just to say, I'm still only like 20, I think it was 25, 24, 25 weeks. And I said,
so I'm still getting used to like movements and things, but I haven't felt anything all afternoon
or all evening where by this point, usually I would have felt something, especially after like
an evening meal, like lots of kicking and things, and I'm getting nothing, not even a slight
movement. So they said, we'll come in and we'll have a listening. They call it at that stage.
I think as you get further along, they then hook you up and track movements, but, um, just to put
the doctor on, had the heartbeat and I was like, okay, reassured, healthy heartbeat. Sounds good.
And then, um, later that evening, I felt loads of movement when I got back home. So again,
that was the reassurance that I felt like I needed, but it was really nice actually,
because the midwife was just like, don't think that you're bothering us, you know, like however
often you feel like you need to come in, even if it's like 4am, if you're ever unsure, it's far
better to just put your mind at ease by coming in and having a, having that listening. It's what
we're here for. This section of the unit is specifically for, uh, monitoring for things
like this. So, um, to not think twice and to just ask. So I was like, okay, well that gave me
reassurance. Cause then you don't want to think that you're putting people out. But me and my
overthinking brain, it's just, if I left it, I would have, and didn't feel any movement,
or I probably wouldn't have slept that night. Um, so it was just nice to have that. But then,
yeah, like I said, I got home and then loads of kicking, but she did say most people when they
call in for reduced movements, they'll end up getting loads of movements as they arrive into
the hospital. But because I still wasn't getting that, I was glad that I did actually go in and
just have them check. And it was nice to like meet the midwives and the team there. It was the
reassurance that I needed, which is what they're there for. But anyway, right. Pajamas, a nice
cozy pair. These are freshly washed. I'm just going to jump in the shower first, like fully
cleanse and rinse off my face. Um, freshly washed autumn PJs from Primark. You've seen these before
all the cozy vibes. And I'm thinking for dinner tonight, maybe pasta evangelists.
I'm feeling like a pasta maybe. This is what I've been using on my belly. Well, actually I've been
using this all over my body. Did a full body moisturize this morning after this morning
shower, but I'm just going to moisturize the bum. And I just take it around the back of it
as well, because I feel like it's all stretching. Um, so just to help, I mean, I've avoided stretch
marks so far, but if we get them, we get them. So be it. And then from bloom and blossom, I've got
some of this left, which is a skin kind of bump and baby bum. And it's a much more intense thicker
kind of oily consistency, like comes out quite thick cause I need a bit of that left now. I might
get a full size one, but that on top of the moisturizer, I don't use this one every time.
This one's more of a every other day type thing. Just kind of like pass it in because quite thick
and then yeah, just let it dry for a bit. Excuse the state of me. I mean,
we're all friends here on this channel. And then for my facial moisturizer, I've been using
wipe that on my knees in my bathroom. This is the only place to put you and it'd be too
low. I could just go and get a tripod, but can't be bothered. And this moisturizer is just a
classic one that I've repurchased over and over again. It's the Laneige water bank. I'm thinking
of a trip to the traffic center next week in a few days time. So I might vlog that because
I've got an appointment actually with, I've been really enjoying the skincare during this
presidency. I don't know what it is. Like I haven't, I had a bath the other night. I'm not
usually a bath person. I'm a bath once in a blue moon and it was so nice.
Just using loads of products, face masks, moisturizers. Love it. Anyway. Yeah. I've got
an appointment, a gifting appointment with new look. So I thought we could go and have a look
and I might take you with me and do a bit of a traffic center shop. Where was I going with that?
Oh, and I might pop to Sephora and space in case, have a bit of a beauty top-up of some
bits I've been loving, some repurchases, some new things I want to try. So for the beauty
lovers out there who are also enjoying skincare and hair, body, makeup, skin, beauty, then hopefully
you'll enjoy that because I know, like I said, they've got some new bits that I really want to
try. Space and Kate also now do Touchland hand sanitizers. So I'm hoping things across the
traffic center has them in stock and we can stock up because you can only get them in America before
that and mine have all run out and I do really like them. I love a hand sanitizer in my handbag
and in my car and they just smell so nice and I love the actual application. This could be an ad
for Touchland hand sanitizer. It's not. Anyway, I'm going to head downstairs, try and find something
on TV now, and then wait for my pasta to arrive. I've just put in an order of the carbonara and
one of their lemon sorbets for dessert because that fresh lemon zestiness, it's not too sweet,
it's not high in sugar really, it's only like 100 calories and it is just divine.
Good TV lined up. Hold on, I think I need to talk you through my TV plans and suggestions for the
next month or two. Secret Lives of Mormon Wives new series, that's going to be my
watch this evening. We've also got Bake Off, we've got Big Brother, we've got Traitors,
Celebrity Traitors coming out soon. I was just seeing then on Netflix the new Monsters,
which I loved. If you love dark psychological thriller, well it's not even psychological
thriller, it's a true story, but it's a dramatization of it, of serial killers.
The first one, Jeffrey Dahmer, that was probably my favorite one. Then they did
the Hernandez Brothers, also really good. They did Ed Gein, really good. I think actually some
of the actors from those series are actually in the new one coming out, which is the first one
they've done serial killer, female serial killer. I think she's the oldest one as well in
terms of when it's dated, so looking forward to that as well. We've got some good TV coming up,
good TV lined up. Before we know it, it'll be I'm a Celebrity. Who's watching Strictly as well? I
feel like Strictly is a popular, similar timeline to Bake Off and I'm a Celebrity where it starts
creeping into Christmas and stuff then. What a mark there, which I don't usually have. It's
not a spot or anything, it's weird. It's like hyperpigmentation and there. This one's just
had his dinner and that's his routine after his dinner. Suck on his doggy, his IKEA dog,
that poor dog. He sure gets some love, that cuddly toy. But yes, secret lives of normal
wives. And my dinner, let's see how far off are we. He's right outside. I've got this dinner with
me. Smells amazing. So this is my lemon sorbet. It actually comes in a frozen lemon. Oh my goodness,
that is a bowl of pasta. I think why it's so good as well is because obviously the pasta itself
is fresh. Oh my goodness, how incredible does that look? Hopefully I'm not making any of you
too jealous. Carbonara is one of my faves. Actually, Tom does a really good carbonara.
He's not made it in ages. Oh yeah, this is an elite evening for me. Cheers.
Did you just say Barney burp? Here we go, let's lock in. Let's see how many,
they've got half of the series uploaded. So I reckon we could have a good binge of this tonight
and get through a few episodes. Oh yes, I forgot about this because she was under investigation,
wasn't she? Like domestic. I'm actually going to go ahead and close off today's video here.
Hope you guys have enjoyed spending the day with us and I hope to see you all very soon
in my next video. Bye guys.
