Minnesota AG recovers $18.5M from child nutrition fraud settlement

The state of Minnesota has reached a civil settlement with the nonprofit Partners in Nutrition (PIN) to recover $18.5 million in stolen taxpayer funds. The organization, which sponsored federal child nutrition programs during the pandemic, will voluntarily dissolve and surrender its remaining assets following allegations of widespread fraud.
