Yiannis Sotiriadis was born in 1981 in Athens, Greece.

In Sotiriadis's own words: "During my adolescence I remember myself  exploring the art of photography using my dad's camera.
Nevertheless it took several years in order to start working as a professional photographer. At present, I run my own photo studio in Athens. My main work is related to commercial  photography.
In my free time I am into  black and white street photography having won awards in street and still life photography."
