Today's Video: We Harvested Wild Lingonberries 🍒 Autumn in the Finnish Countryside

Hello my dear Friends, 🌲❤️
Autumn has filled the Finnish forests with beautiful wild lingonberries. 🍂🍒
In this vlog, Hannu, Hilma, and I spend a peaceful day in the forest harvesting wild lingonberries, then bring our buckets home and turn the berries into something delicious.
I begin by cleaning our harvest and making homemade wild lingonberry jelly, slowly filling the jars to preserve a little taste of autumn for the colder months ahead. While the jelly cools, I prepare Hilma’s homemade meal with boiled chicken and mixed vegetables. 🐶❤️
Then I make one of my favorite treats from this harvest, a creamy Lingonberry & Vanilla Panna Cotta, topped with a beautiful ruby-red lingonberry layer. After it sets overnight, Hannu and I enjoy it with a warm cup of coffee. ☕️🍰
The preserving continues with homemade lingonberry juice using a steam juicer, and finally I pack some of our fresh berries into freezer boxes to save for winter.
There is something so rewarding about gathering food straight from the Finnish forest and slowly preparing it at home, enjoying some now and preserving the rest for the long winter ahead. 🌲❤️
