Warm midweek and then chilly conditions for the weekend on Long Island

Yeah, we're going to get some sunshine, some warmer weather. Hopefully, we can get rid of this trend of rainy Sundays. It's been nine in a row now. And we do have a warm-up coming our way, and we do have more changes by the weekend. And it may end up being some good news. So as we go throughout our day, we're going to be watching some changes on the way. And here's kind of a preview towards the weekend where those temperatures will actually start to drop with high temperatures over the weekend in the 50s. So we are tracking the clouds today. a high of 70. Morning clouds, afternoon sunshine. Then for tonight, around 55 degrees, a few clouds. So any evening events, you're fine. Today, the clouds this morning go to sunshine. We're drying out. The weather is improving. There go the rain showers. We had some thunderstorms last night. They are now gone, and the weather will be getting better for your afternoon hours. Maybe headed towards Greenport, you can see sunshine with a few clouds. By this afternoon, late afternoon, four o'clock upper 60s so the North Fork, South Fork, you're going to get better this afternoon maybe heading out to the farm supporting them after the rainy weather that we had yesterday sky conditions are looking good now this afternoon here's 3:30, you're gonna have the sunshine we got a couple of parades out there for today, we'll dry kids off from school maybe heading to the playground you're looking at some decent weather conditions temperatures will be in the 60s to low 70s. Quiet weather this evening. If you got a ball game over by Sawyer Avenue and West Babylon, weather looks good. Few clouds by Tuesday morning. Now, some changes on Tuesday. Winds go more easterly. Expect more clouds in the afternoon. Still a decent day. At times, it may go mostly cloudy. 60s to a high near 70 degrees for Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday night, a warm front moves on through. There is a slight chance of a shower Tuesday night, And temperatures, Wednesday morning, 60s. Wednesday afternoon, some of the computer models going to 80 or even low 80s. We'll have to watch that very closely on that westerly wind. But we have that warm-up on the way. And then, changes for your Friday. Right now, Friday looks wet, some periods of rain, and a cold front comes our way. That cold front dries us out for the weekend, but we will have colder weather. And this weekend, Saturday especially, some snow in upstate New York. Not on Long Island, upstate New York. 60s and 70s, clouds go to sunshine for this afternoon. Pollen counts are all low. 50s for tonight, dry. The warm weather comes in for your Wednesday. A little cooler Thursday than those rain showers. A little bit of temperature drop Friday into the weekend. But right now, most of your weekend is dry. Out the door today, Storm Wrangler 12 has been watching that sunshine on the way.
