Judge blocks taxpayer-funded Trump ads

A federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to stop using taxpayer funds for television commercials that resemble campaign ads. While the administration argued the ads were patriotic tributes to America, the court found them to be political in nature, violating laws that prohibit the use of public money for electioneering during midterm elections.
