AI GeneratedThe forecast predicts a transition from beautiful weather to a period of severe storms before cooling down for the weekend. While Friday will see intermittent rain, the latter half of the day carries a risk of severe weather, including damaging winds and lightning, leading into a much colder and windier Saturday.
Thank you. You know what else is cool?
Those temperatures this weekend. It'll be very cool. Cold and good.
And unfortunately, it's going to take some strong storms to get there.
So yeah, but not the most pleasant end to the work in school week.
But things have been all right so far this week.
I mean, today's been beautiful.
The rest of tonight is just fine. It does.
We get very, very late into tonight, even early parts of our Friday.
We're going to see that first round of showers and storms.
Then there's an additional round to expect.
But most of the day, believe it or not, will be on the dry side.
There's a nice dry period, but we
do have those rain chances throughout portions
of Friday it dries out into early Saturday which is
good news because then the majority of the weekend looks
to be on the dry side does it mean we could
still have some rain this weekend early Saturday unfortunately yes
that trend continues but taking
a look at this as we work our way into early parts
of Friday we're going to have our first
round of rain some showers some downpours
possible wind picks up throughout the day
and continues to intensify as we head
into our evening here's where we get into trouble
Between these rounds, there's going to be a break in the clouds.
That's going to allow that sunshine to filter through.
And however much sunshine we get, that's going to add fuel
to this line of storms that move through later on in the day,
potentially juicing them up into a severe level,
which could mean damaging gusts, heavy downpours, could mean lightning.
So we're going to be keeping a close eye
on this through the second half of tomorrow.
Now this moves through, showers continue into the overnight
and early parts of our Saturday.
Then it dries out, but the wind doesn't go away.
We are still gusty throughout our Saturday,
and that's when those temperatures drop a whole lot.
So that's going to make things feel very cold.
But want to be mindful of your severe weather risk during especially
the second half of your Friday.
The potential for damaging gusts
and lightning, we'll be tracking all of it.
