'Black Lagoon' Halloween pop-up in Seattle

Welcome back. It's 923 and it is spooky season. It's one Seattle bar also that is opting and getting into the Halloween spirit with a pop-up that's actually serving up some seriously creative cocktails. Rob Roy hosting Black Lagoon and Maria Garcia is getting a taste of a couple of their spooky seasonal creations. I'm at Rob Roy with Jojo Kitchen. Hi there, Jojo. Hey, how you doing? I'm so glad to be here. You guys have a very spooky pop-up going on. Tell me about it. Yes, we do. We're doing Black Lagoon this month, so it's a Halloween, kind of like goth metal takeover here at Rob Roy. And we do it all month. We've already started, and we actually go after October 31st for a little while. Very exciting. And one of the cool things is that you have this amazing list of cocktails we're making today. What are we starting with? We're going to start with Abyss's Obsession. It's going to be kind of like a pina colada riff and it's going to come in this amazing glass. Look at that glass and it has like that face and the name right here as well. Let's jump right on in and make this cocktail. Perfect. Alrighty. So I've got our whole cocktail really ready to go, but we've got a pumpkin spiced rum in there. And then we've got some lime, pineapple, bitter queens, tobacco bitters. It smells good. I can smell it already. Oh yeah, it's delicious. It's delicious. A little bit of coconut. Throw in some ice in there. We throw in some ice in there. Give it a shake. Shake it up. And then we're gonna do what's called a party dump into the glass. We're gonna just pour our whole guy right in there. I love that, a party dump. And then we're gonna fill this up with some crushed ice. Oh, very nice. I was wondering if it's like fine, delicious looking ice as well. So it's gonna look super fun and festive. Let's take a peek at it right there. Awesome. And then I'm gonna have you help me. You're just gonna grab one of those dehydrated pineapples actually. And will you grab me an umbrella without a cherry on it? And we'll get that started. You got it, boss. Hell yeah. Thank you so much. How do I open her up? Slide this thing off? Yeah, we're just gonna slide that little, yeah, perfect. I'm fighting with it. No, no, that's okay, that's okay. And will you grab me a straw? Of course. And then, yeah, right under the dragon. Perfect. We got that guy for you. Spooky but tropical, if you're missing the warmer weather, can I give her a try? Yeah, please, please, please. My gosh, this is so, so good. Good, amazing. Delicious. And I think one of the really fun things is that you guys are including a really great list of N.A. cocktails as well. We're going to make one right now. What cocktail are we making? We're going to be making the Scream Queen. It's the non-alcoholic version of our Bone Temple cocktail. So it's kind of like an N.A. tequila Singapore sling. It's got some tart cherry in it. It's going to have some spiced But we like to include, we love to have NA cocktails just so everybody can imbibe, hang out, enjoy. You know, you don't have to get drunk to have a good time. So hell yeah. Let's jump in. Let's jump in. It's a spooky red color that we're looking at. It is a spooky red. You've got a little tart cherry in there as well. I'm very excited to try that. Sometimes the magic happens behind the scenes. That's right. But it looks like the top of a skull. Yeah, and then we'll grab that cherry, yep, and the umbrella.
