I Made It to Billboards Across America 🎉

Hi guys, it's Alla. It's been a while since I did a vlog, since I've updated you. So I was like, time is due. I have to come on here, say hello. So one of the big things that recently has happened in my career and probably in my entire lifetime is the fact that I am on billboards across America, across New York and LA. So if you happen to be from one of those cities, please let me know in the comments down below. and of course go check it out you know go check it out take a video for me send it to me I've been getting a lot of videos from people that live there which is really cool I didn't manage to go there just we are at the moment in Europe with my partner so I can't really fly there because we're staying here for a bit longer and unfortunately I'm missing missing the big piece but the huge thing is yeah I made it to the billboards in New York in Times Square I remember like I think it was maybe eight years ago before the pandemic five or five years ago probably I don't remember when the pandemic was I was in New York and I used to walk around and I used to look at that and I could never imagine that I would be there my face would be there across so many billboards so it's pretty huge achievement and it's all due to the fact that I've become a top top performer with Kajabi the platform that I host all my courses on and not only that it's I've just been helping a lot of people in general over the last you know five to six years when I started hosting my programs mainly in cooking of course as you know I'm a professional chef with over 12 years of experience so it all started with a passion and some of you know my story I actually made no money for the first seven years like you know if you've been with me for a longer longer than seven years you know how much content I've been producing here on YouTube on Facebook Instagram I was working hours and hours and hours having five jobs on the side not being you know able to pay for my rent it was really hard times for me so you know being able to get paid for what I do and what I love and also help people to become better in baking so then they can start their own businesses has been a game changer for me personally of course for everybody who comes and studies with me so that's how I kind of gone to the billboard they thought that my story was one of the best stories they've encountered over the years especially given the fact that I never gave up I never gave up on my dream I never gave up on my visions you know I always knew I want to do this I just didn't know how I didn't know how I can get there so that I can actually support myself support my life pay my bills and be okay you know with producing content and not having 500 jobs on the side because honestly I was burnt out and to a point you know that I got really really sick just before the pandemic and when the pandemic happened I actually moved to Mexico and that's when I slowed down and that's when I became more and more sick which is crazy right you would think that as I'm slowing down I would feel better but actually it was the opposite I became very very sick and it was that big change and realization for me that wow like I've been working so much so hard I need to really change something about this so that's how I ended up on the billboards and mainly because yeah like I'm just spreading my love and passion of cooking to everybody around me and also all my amazing students I've had students that are with me for the last five years and if you're listening to this video right now and thank you personally for trusting me for believing in me for making me have that passion and keep going because I wouldn't be here if I didn't have you know these amazing students that would take my courses loved it and then want to take more or suggest new courses that potentially you know I can do so it's honestly is a surreal moment for me the billboards are going to be there for two weeks so if you're free go check it out um otherwise I was posted it on my social medias uh if you want to see how it looks um it's it's pretty crazy I still don't like I have this like pinch me moment you know so it's it's pretty pretty uh wild to me um but this this is something where I was always going you know and I'm going to go further and further and further because essentially I want to share my story I want to help people uh to understand that when it gets hard it doesn't mean that it's the end you know when when you're not selling courses or when you're starting a new hobby or new business it's okay because you're always going to have obstacles on the way but It's more like, how do you deal with that? You know, what's your mindset? What are you going to do when you're stuck? And most people actually, I think it's something like 70% to 80% of people give up on their business in the first year or 90% fail in the actual business. So I feel like I have a lot to share, a lot of business knowledge and to the fact that, you know, I've become their top performer as well in terms of sales. now for anybody who is interested in starting their own business you can always talk to me right I haven't really dived into that area much yet because I've been taking a little break I've been focusing on my life my life my love life and it's been going amazing and now I'm slowly going to get back into work with new energy new power and I want to help people more I want to encourage people. And if anybody is interested in starting their own business, whether that's something that you've been thinking about for ages, your hobby, or I don't know, you're passionate about something like gardening or sewing, or I don't know, dancing, anything can be taught to other people. If you are genuine and you really love what you do and you care about other people's success you are going to succeed and my career really has changed when I did join Kajabi because Kajabi was a platform for those of you who don't know it's an online platform which helps you basically put your course materials on there you can upload your videos you can upload all your information all your teachings per se and I think now you can do podcasts communities memberships everything is in there but when I was starting like you know I wasn't a business person I was just a woman that loved cooking and I was passionate about cakes so for me figuring out all of these bits you know like how to set up email marketing how to set up my course how to do the videos how to do this and this and this and before you know it your passion turns into this huge stress one of the books that I recently read is called Rocket Fuel and it was amazing because it really made me understand that people are divided into visionaries and operational and And sometimes for those people who start a business, they usually are visionary because they dream, they imagine their business, they do what they love and they're passionate about it, but they don't really know operations as much. So it can take that toll on you. And that's probably why I also really didn't make any money for the first five years from online platforms. First of all, you know, social media doesn't pay for you. There's a big myth about the fact that people think that social media pay you thousands.
