Video Summary
AI GeneratedSoutheast Wisconsin experienced dense morning fog that cleared by late morning, leading to a sunny Tuesday. A blocking high-pressure system is ensuring a dry, quiet stretch of weather through the weekend, with temperatures warming up and a slight chance of rain returning by Monday.
Look outside on this Tuesday afternoon.
Probably still be a good day for sunscreen, huh? No clouds in the sky,
which is really quite the contrast from how we began this day.
Yeah, honestly, we were in the clouds literally. Oh yes.
Such a thick fog. I was coming down Brown Deer Road this morning
and it felt like I was ascending. Yes, yes. Like into the sky.
Yeah. And it was so thick that really if you were outside
for an extended period of time, you had little water droplets on you.
You could see the water droplets. Here you go.
Here is our time lapse from our historic
Brook Tower camp. It was almost like, you know,
when you view it like this, like we're in an
airplane. So we're, we're flying above the highest clouds
and you get to the blue sky and the
sunshine. But in our case, the low lying clouds was thick fog,
dense fog across really all of
Southeast Wisconsin.
And then by late morning, which in this case, that's the way it works
late morning. Once we see temperatures rising a little bit,
all of the fog mixes out. But again,
And this is another loop for you of our time lapse
of the fog that really became dense after sunrise.
And thankfully, we've been nice and sunny and quiet ever since.
Here's another view in Milwaukee where, again,
you can still see the beautiful lake out
in the background behind the city, the blue sky, no cloud cover.
I will say, though, that north of Milwaukee,
there are some spots with fog moving back in over the lake.
Mequon is one of those spots.
I know I heard from Fox Point, Whitefish Bay,
fog starting to creep back in.
So with a lake breeze, it is still possible that with a little bit
of a fog bank out over Lake Michigan right now,
that it still comes and goes.
And yes, unfortunately, we are expecting it
again overnight tonight and tomorrow morning.
Otherwise, we are dry, we are quiet, high pressure is in place.
And actually, our high pressure,
we're in a bit of a blocking pattern right now,
which is why we have so much sunshine
and quiet weather ahead the rest of the week.
It's a bit more active out west.
there's a low pressure system out east,
and that's kind of keeping our high pressure system
sitting in that location. Let's check in with SkyVision,
which we can really breeze through here.
There's not a whole lot to go over.
We're going to continue to see clear skies through sunset.
Then after sunset, we could start to see the fog settling in,
and that goes for overnight and
Wednesday morning. And then notice throughout Wednesday,
there is still more sunshine in our
extended forecast and a southwesterly wind,
meaning tomorrow, unlike today, temperatures
have been cooler near the lake today.
Tomorrow, everybody has a chance to reach into the upper
60s and maybe even some low 70s.
Thursday, same deal, maybe a few more clouds from time to time.
Lake breeze returns out of the northeast.
That'll bring in a range of 60s, and then Friday into the
weekend, we could see a few more 70s in some communities.
We're dry all the way through Sunday.
We start to see a rain chance.
It's not a huge rain chance, but a chance by Monday, and that
really does look to be a bit of our pattern shift right now
as compared to this really long dry
stretch we'll have the chance for rain Monday
and temperatures will drop quite a bit there could be
some spots that stay in the 50s on Monday not the case
the rest of the week though look at how much
warmth is west and south of us
with that southwesterly wind tomorrow it's all moving in our direction
still a bit chilly overnight tonight seasonably cool we'll call it
because temperatures will
likely drop to low 40s as we wake up tomorrow morning you'll need
the layers the light jacket
And then later tomorrow afternoon with that southwesterly wind,
upper 60s to low 70s.
And then we do it all over again with the 40s heading
into Thursday morning, 60s into Thursday afternoon,
and then some 70s, as we just previously talked about,
heading into the weekend.
Now your World Series forecast, game one, game two.
It's never too early to talk about it.
I am so thankful to say the great weather will continue.
Tailgating both days, Friday and Saturday, will be fantastic.
First pitch, 7 p.m., so temperatures Friday,
a little cooler in the upper 50s.
Saturday, around 60, maybe a little breezier, but all in all,
we could not ask for better late October weather
for our Brewers to win.
Your full six-day planner showing a chance of fog tomorrow morning.
Otherwise, plenty of sunshine,
temperatures in the upper 60s with similar conditions on Thursday.
Just a bit cooler lakeside.
You can see those 70s back in our area over the weekend,
and then Monday will bring in our first chance
of rain in probably a good eight days, guys.
