Tonight it's crystal clear.
Isn't it crazy? That fog, Sam, unreal this morning, right?
And it was so, it was thick, but it was thin.
What do I mean by that? Let me explain. You ready for this?
Okay, this is why weather is so cool.
Take a look at this. You ready?
All right, we're going to rewind this here from this morning.
This is so cool. There you see the buildings of downtown.
Then it all gets enveloped as the fog thickens up here.
But if you were at the top of the U.S. Bank
or Northwestern Mutual building,
there was no fog. Look at how thin it was.
and then you're gonna see it right here that's
a stratus cloud by the way on the ground so thick
for us if you were in it
and then watch how quickly boom goes away by about 10 11 o'clock
this morning isn't that wild
and now no fog at least for the time being how cool is that so yeah
driving in it i mean it was so thick you could barely see
in front of you but if we were able
to just you know stand up on our tippy toes
and peek above it it was extremely extremely thin
in the vertical and again fog is a stratus cloud
on the ground a very thin stratus cloud but thick
if you're in it 66 63 degrees are high
in milwaukee today three degrees above average
44 our low or foggy low this morning 7 11
our sunrise 601 that's our sunset tonight we're
cooling down near the lake with that wind coming
in off of Lake Michigan. Upper 60s inland, so
warmer the farther west you go.
Beautiful across the state, mainly in the 60s. Again, a bit cooler
right along the lakeshore. So we have clear skies in place.
Yes, more fog will be developing
tonight. Let's broaden the view out for you here.
Not much going on coast to coast. Once again,
a quiet stretch i'm telling you we have to enjoy it
because we have changes on the way which i'm
going to talk about here in your six day in just
a moment first let's get into sky vision plus i
want to talk about the fog for tonight now what's interesting
is computer model data showing it a
bit more patchy here starting after about 10
o'clock tonight a little more patchy than it was
last night we'll see the ingredients
are still pretty much the same as what we had last night
so as a result i do think we are going to have some
of that dense fog as we head into the morning
hours tomorrow so i think that data may change later tonight
as it updates because once that
temperature hits the dew point that is when we're going
to see that fog developing again likely
after 10 o'clock tonight,
so probably a bit earlier tonight than it was last night. Take a
look across the country here.
I've been showing this for the last couple of days because it's
been so quiet. There's just not much to talk about,
and that's great news. We have a warm-up
on the way coming up tomorrow and lasting all the way into the weekend.
All right, you ready?
Let's take a look at your six-day planner.
Let's put it all together for you here.
70 tomorrow after morning dense fog, a lot of sunshine.
67 near the lake, 70 inland on Thursday.
70s on Friday, 71 Saturday, 68 Sunday.
But wait a minute.
What's happening on Monday?
52 with a chance for rain showers, 40s and 50s for highs next week.
So big changes starting on Monday.
But we'll just focus on the sun for now.
