Brewers fever, yeah, it's officially here and it isn't just staying inside of the ballpark. It is also spreading throughout our neighborhood businesses. April Preciado joining us live in the studio now with how some small business owners are trying to keep up with the hype, April. That's right. It's more than obvious that the big talk of town are the Brewers and the World Series. And to keep up the momentum and the excitement, we got together with two local small businesses that show us how they're keeping up that team spirit. For Mike Bates. I've been saving these all year. Bates is the owner of Litz MKE and is busy preparing bulks of this special brewer's themed candle for fans to light up on game day. I'm a superstitious guy. I thought, like, if everybody bought these candles and we all lit them up together collectively when they take the field in the World Series, like, how cool is that? It's, like, bringing the vibe. Meanwhile, over at Seema's Bakery, owner Carollo is making sure everyone walking through the door has a sweet treat to celebrate. Raspberry mousse, red velvet, but of course we have a special brewer's cake, so super delicious. You can see if you pan in a little bit, it's very festive for this weekend. From themed cupcakes, bars, and cakes to handcrafted candles, local vendors say this post-season run is doing much more than just driving sales. We've been really, really busy. We truly are blessed. But I can't tell you how much it warms my heart. It brings the whole city together. Very, very delicious. now. Seema's Bakery tells us the demand is so high they're already having more staff come in to prepare the delicious treats. So it just goes to show that the force of the brewers and the excitement surrounding them. Back to you guys. That cheesecake was legit. I can see why they're bringing in more staff.
