Dolphins vs. Jets Odds, Picks and Best Player Props

The Miami Dolphins are alone in the NFL. They are winless. They have not won a game. But freaky things happen when the Dolphins play the Jets. Is that on tap today at the Meadowlands? I guess we will see. The Jets' line is around 4, 3.5, just depending on where you're seeing it today. It's been jockeying back and forth. Of course, 4 is a key number, so keep an eye on that. Total under 40, 39.5. But, Joe, as bad as the Dolphins have played, what we have started to see naturally happens in the NFL the lines get bigger and bigger and badder and then that team usually covers we're seeing it with the Titans we're seeing it the Dolphins have covered two games in a row this is a short line today for the Jets if the Jets have any aspirations of keeping their season just with a pulse alive and they would win and cover this spread i would tell you that i have nothing on this one as well and there's only one reason it It could only be the Dolphins for me or nothing, but Malik Willis' quarterback play has been the worst in the National Football League. I can't get there today. I can't do it. Can't get there today. I could see the Jets, unfortunately, crushing them. I could see it. I'm just going to pass on the game today. That's fair, and I understand why, but I'm in on this game for a couple reasons. Number one, I think there's some lines on some of these props that are just wrong. Going into this week, the line for Ollie Gordon was 50.5 rushing yards, which was absurd. that was on Thursday now it's 57 and a half because everybody keeps betting it which means there's room for a ladder bet here on Ollie Gordon you could take this one all the way up the ladder all the way up to 100 you're getting big plus money on it and for those of you so you know what's a ladder bet we're talking about betting it at 50 betting it at 60 and 70 and all the way going up to 100 on this one and as you get larger and larger you can scale back the units that you put in there but also you can go ahead and uh make more plus money on that so if you have a spot where he gets almost a 90, that's a pretty good day. And I think he will. This Jets line leaks a little bit from here and there. Also, I tend to always bet the receiving yards more than the receptions for a player, but Caleb Douglas coming back healthy, who has been like ever since the off season, you saw him in preseason, you saw it in week one, even a week two before he got hurt. He was kind of the go-to safety net target for Malik Willis, who was far from prolific as Craig so astutely pointed out however this number is just at two and a half you get three catches in this game absolutely i think he's gonna get more like five or six catches in this game i think he is the go-to guy in this offense it's not bell it's not malik washington to me it's caleb douglas and just hasn't been healthy so coming off a bye i think the miami dolphins not only have a chance to cover i think they have a chance to win this game because the jets always find ways to lose games it's one of the things they do so well and even the games they've won this year they found ways and moments where they could have handed it to the other team case in point the cleveland browns game a couple weeks ago so i think the dolphins are very much in play in this one coming off of a bye coming out rested and i'm the guy that bet the under on the three and a half win total and i just cashed out of it this week because they were offering me like 80 because Vegas thinks also that they can't get the three and a half wins or three wins or four wins whatever it might be so you know what we're going to take a little bit of that reinvested in the Dolphins today especially with Ollie Gordon and specifically Caleb Douglas maybe even on that money line with the Miami Dolphins also you are so anti-Jets man damn all right well i don't know it keeps on giving every year every year they keep giving and giving and giving it it's amazing like the Mother Teresa of of football and just keep giving i mean they they should they should win this game today but i don't know it's uh it hasn't been good you know by the way i subbed out Ollie Gordon interestingly enough this morning when i saw that Braylon Allen was the only guy on the Jets today so i actually took the i i had i had Gordon in but i put in Braylon Allen i just i just couldn't do it because Malik now it's a lock statistically speaking him on your bench that's a lock he uh Willis is the worst statistical quarterback in the history of the Miami Dolphins through five games so this is this has been rough
