Video Summary
AI GeneratedA coastal flood advisory is in effect through Thursday afternoon, with potential inundation in beach and bayside communities. While a weather system may bring light drizzle to Northern California, specifically Mendocino and Lake counties, it is expected to fizzle out before reaching the Bay Area. Warm temperatures will persist today before a slight cooling trend begins early next week.
We have a coastal flood advisory, next high tide coming in at 11:07.
So along our beaches as well
as our low-lying areas adjacent to our bayside communities
be prepared for the inundation of
some water coming our way, not only
for today it lasts until Thursday afternoon. This is something
we are going to see now as we head
into the rainier winter months with that elevated ocean
level already in place. This system here going
to drop into Northern California tonight to bring
even a possibility of some sprinkles, a little bit of drizzle.
It looks like Mendocino County,
maybe Lake County. Here's a look
at early tomorrow morning. I'm picking up on just a
little bit of green there.
So it holds together just enough, but it will continue to fizzle out
as it moves towards the Bay Area.
Our far North communities could pick up a little bit of drizzle,
maybe a few sprinkles, it doesn't look like much
but again something we may see roll in tomorrow
morning temperature wise for today outside
our doors at this hour 54 in San Francisco for the
inner East Bay, a chilly start for you there, Concord
and Livermore mid 40s, 46 in Concord
and in the North Bay even colder than
that Santa Rosa, starting out 40 degrees outside your
door now for the Livermore Valley this afternoon
by lunchtime upper 60s expected low 70s for the
second half of the day right where you should be for this time of year
and in Santa Rosa we are
looking at another gorgeous one here upper 60s
at noontime low 70s for the second half of the
afternoon on the Peninsula 70 degrees in San Mateo
for the South Bay 73 in San Jose by the water in
Santa Cruz 72 expected for you
your extended forecast here temperatures will come down by a few
degrees as we roll into Monday and then Tuesday holding steady,
perhaps a little bit of a drop
in temperatures Wednesday into Thursday.
So today, one of the warmer days. And then as we get into
next weekend, the models are having a really hard time
on agreeing whether or not we may see a little
bit of rain for Halloween weekend.
We will continue to track that for you.
