just coming down to an end it's coming to a close closing day is thursday wait so today's tuesday tomorrow's moving day thursday's closing day and then we move into the house on friday y'all like i am so freaking happy all the long hard work the long the dedication the the struggle girl the unhousedness of it all the kids just not being where you know they're comfortable at like them not for eight long months not being able to really run scream play like they can at our house like we don't mind that you know what i'm saying so it's like having to just be super duper quiet like hats off to the hiccups but they've done the best that they can honestly like i i really really really am so happy how everything played out so when we get down there um like i said we have closing day but we also have to do our final walkthrough y'all when we did um one walkthrough where we just went through and like blue taped the house and stuff so now we have to basically go through and make sure that everything that was blue taped or that texas ain't no joke when it comes to heat i know august i don't know why i feel like august should be a little cooler but it is 100 and some degrees and i think that that is just ridiculous anyways um y'all died because i ran out of storage but i wanted to finish telling y'all so basically i don't even know where i was at but basically two more days and we are officially homeowners so we're just basically getting everything done i need to get my nails and my feet done um i did my hair i changed my hair to this color i thought i don't even think i told y'all last time y'all seen my hair this color but i just i changed this color for closing day because i wanted something different and um what else when we saw the house and we did the walkthrough majority of everything was done already because we had an inspector come we've had the va inspector come we had two inspectors the va sent their own we paid for one then we had the va sent their own appraiser then um our mortgage company paid for one so our appraisal is right around the same for both sides um the inspection was good on both sides um what else the inspector that we picked was actually someone who's on social media so it's just super duper funny he happened to be in dallas and we saw all of his inspection videos online and they're so funny and hilarious so we had him do our house i'm not gonna tell y'all who because i feel like then y'all gonna be able to go and you might be able to like put i don't know i don't know he know where we live so i you know what i said you know what i said so anyways um yeah so that was fun and hopefully if he does post then we'll be able to like see his full like walk through but we got his list of things um that he didn't like and that we needed to get fixed so we told the builder and everything walked through the builder um everything just was a one y'all like everything is going smoothly thank god y'all know we've been having like little hiccups little bumps and for it to just run smoothly finally it's just nothing but god like i give it all to him honestly because i we couldn't have done this without him like we couldn't have like for me to have the patience to sit in my mama house for eight months like y'all don't even understand i'm not being ungrateful because she did let us stay there for eight months but when you're used to having your own when you're used to you know i'm saying just taking care of things by yourself when you're used to not having to hear from someone else about whatever the case may be like my mom went off on about bread last night like you know i'm saying like stuff like that and we and i have been so anal i have literally my anxiety has been on 10 because i have just been running behind the kids trying to make sure that you know everything is clean and not saying that our house isn't clean when you have kids here's a tip for y'all don't go crazy running behind them all day long trying to keep things clean honestly tidy up throughout the day but at the end of the night do a deep clean that's how i function in my house my mom because she doesn't have any kids and she's not used to having kids you know i'm saying i didn't want to feel like it was just a lot going on you know just just throw that on her like just children running around touch walls and do it you know like the kids stuff so I tried my best to alleviate any types of stress when it came to them which put a lot of stress on me because that's not how I usually run my household then having to tell them you know to be quiet and to not be jumping around they're not apartment kids my kids don't know nothing about not jumping around and not having a good time you feel me so it was just a lot of different things when it comes to other people's in their space and how they like their space it's not nothing against anyone it's just that I'm ready to go I'm ready to have my own space I cannot deal with it any longer and I'm so blessed to have parents who allowed us to stay with them but honestly we was only supposed to be there for a couple months the reason it got longer and longer is because we ended up putting the kids in school we ended up having an issue when we were looking and then we couldn't find the house that we wanted then we ended up finding the house and that house wasn't right and then we had to switch houses like it was a lot going on then we had to wait for it to be built like it was just a lot going on all at once and it took eight months so I'm telling y'all now if y'all have ever jumped into the buying process you already know the hecticness of it all and if you haven't i'm telling y'all it can get chaotic just do a lot of research be patient don't rush into it because it could be a long process and honestly it should when you're investing this amount of money girl hundreds of thousands to millions amounts of money like you want to slow it down you want to be able to make sure everything's right you want to make sure you're not getting into some crazy deal you know what I'm saying you want to make sure that your interest rate is where you want it to be especially in this economy we actually got a really good interest rate our interest rate is actually 3.99 not not 3, not 4, child 3.99 and it's crazy because a lot of our friends and people who've also bought this year or last were like you know that's an amazing deal they've gotten like i think five and fours and things like that so it was really really good like what we found was amazing the area that we are moving to is an up and up so right now super duper country hands down like i mean like mom and pop shops things like that so we are excited because we only want to stay in this house for about three to five years depending on how fast they build this area up so we're excited to get in where we are because the price point that we have like when i tell y'all this investment is just it i'm like i came from the heavens like i'm not even playing y'all it really honestly did because everything lined up perfectly everything was what we wanted it to be we're gonna be able to flip this house and make so much money off of it at the end of the day when we're ready and it's crazy like our kids gonna have a great schools you know like they're gonna have memories like they're able to see a house i never got to see a house being built or my parents buying a house when i was this little i am just so blessed like in this whole process and um shout out that's all to my husband my husband shook me daddy did the damn thing y'all like when i say he has been working non-stop non-stop no breaks like he has been pushing it to the limit to make sure we can get everything that we want he has been on top of everybody doing all the things i have not had to lift a pretty little finger for much of anything but to sign some documents you feel me like when i my husband showed up and showed out like he did that he did that and i love him damn like i loved him before this but that right there was a little sexy i might have to throw these ankles back after this after i get my nails in my and my toes done because uh baby i cannot repay you for everything that you have done oh my god like biggest island i've ever seen one of i think my granny's actually is bigger but i've never had an island this big i haven't been you know what i'm saying just living an island this big like this island is huge the kitchen is like damn near as big as the bottom of the struggle that we went through you know all the trials and tribulations but we stuck it through y'all and i wanted to give up so many times i got into it i got into my feelings a few times and i want to just be like you know what just forget it let's just go rent because i was just so tired i was so drained and then also right now going through the whole summer i thought i was gonna at least get the summer in my house and then be able to get the kids ready for school like going through the whole summer not having a place now it's ready but when we get in we gotta get in get serious the kids gotta get into school like we have a lot that we just gotta do like when i say the first like month is gonna be chaotic and crazy but y'all y'all here for the ride i'm not gonna talk y'all head off too much longer another feature that i love about the house is that we have it's like endless heat for our water so our it's a water softener it's like the hot water tank is like it doesn't it's never not hot like you'll never run out of hot water love that we have a 10 year warranty on our house like oh yeah it's just like i said everything just lined up perfectly and it was just a blessing and i and then he has something to drop off i think for the va or something like that and then after that oh and then i need to take something back for um one of my amazon orders that i did not that i wanted to return and what else do you need to do something else i forget but i'm gonna be like riding around today he's going to take the u-haul to the storage unit he has movers there who are gonna help him load the u-haul then we gotta take the u-haul to my mom's house to get a little bit of the things that we have there pack this car he's gonna hook the maserati to the back of the u-haul like we did when we got up here and then we're gonna head on the road to dallas it's been real san antonio it really hasn't i've been here for way too long my mom corrected me yesterday i was saying eight months we've actually been here for 10 months i just realized i don't know why i wasn't counting at the end of last year because we got here in november so we've been here for 10 months y'all almost a year i live with my mother for almost a year it's insane to me like i never would have thought never would have thought and i didn't think when this all this whole process started like this was not how it was supposed to go but it came out it we conquered it is what it is and it did what it needs to do that's all that matters i don't even care if it was two years three years four years the fact that it's been that long though is mind-blowing but we just gonna slide past that okay shout out shout out to my parents because they were g's in this situation and let us stay with them and we are forever grateful y'all i today hopefully we get there in enough time to where we can have a good night's rest because we have to get up in the morning we have to go through our final walkthrough and then we have closing day and yeah so we have a lot going on it's back to back to back to back jam packed like we we can't even have one little hiccup on the road or like one you know mishap or deterrence because we really need to get back and be able to sleep i don't know if maybe we'll get a hotel room or something um along the way if need be or something i don't know but i don't know how long it's gonna take to get there it's a four hour drive to Dallas so hopefully it doesn't turn into like six moving completely sucks i just want to let y'all know more so for my husband because he and me he gonna be you know stay but moving traditionally sucks i cannot stand it if i did not have a husband to do the heavy lifting and all the plans and all the things girl i don't know where i all communication off you don't even talk to nobody if you know somebody in the game then that means that you have their information and you're able to like FaceTime them they will do FaceTime calls at you not once did she call her out her name but maybe to call her everything but like this little girl had been bullying her in school and all this stuff she had got got on her in school i don't know if i told y'all but this little girl it was a little girl who was messing with her and she was like taking her water bottle i had to end up going to the uh to Ross and buying my baby a Stanley because um what you're not gonna do is touch her ---- and the water bottle before that was just like a generic water bottle and i said we coming back bigger and better baby make sure she don't touch this and if she touch it we got a problem at school i had to get on her about this she didn't tell the little girl at school if you touch my water bottle my brand new water bottle she showed her my brand new water bottle if you touch my water bottle my mama said i could whoop your ass and you won't have to worry about that kids if they tell y'all from Philly like i was raised by Philadelphia and girl had been messing with her messing with her hiding her water bottle saying she ain't doing now she ended up doing something crazy to some other little girl she gave her medicine i still don't understand how she i don't think she's coming back to school this year but i still don't understand how that wasn't like a whole big thing because listen if one of y'all if somebody give my baby for if you was in the area when this happened and you what girl but they were like foreign so they ended up just taking their daughter out of school and going to another school i guess but that's how she did it which was great so we ended the year i didn't have to cuss nobody out it was real copacetic then the summer comes she the little girl ends up cussing at one of mimi's friends one of mimi's friends puts it in the group chat mimi says hand me that phone because she don't even know this girl she don't have her phone number they're not friends they're not acquaintances none of that you and then she deleted that that right there because when i said how did you get her number she was like oh one of my friends gave it to her talking about she made it seem like the little girl had texted her and started cussing at her and that's why she had to cuss back because she knows her mama and she knows that if somebody does something to you if you do it to them it's not always it's not always right it's not right but it wouldn't have made me as mad as it made me knowing that my baby was the one who went the okay no there was no types of provoking there was no reason for it there was like you did not need to do that like just because she's going off on one of your friends does not mean you need to be captain save a girl and come on in there and and and get some straightening because it wasn't nothing for you to straighten okay what nothing for you that you didn't have to say nothing about nothing about nothing she told a little girl when she texted mimi's friend she was like uh something about she called her a bitch and and some something something and mimi was like oh oh she wanna be tough girl she she did get a little squabble with a little boy in third grade and i feel like it's getting to a head and listen here i said you we done we're done with the phones the devices all the things right now it's been about i think about two weeks I think that Mimi has been grounded and she will continue to be, I don't know how long she may not get a phone back, I really we don't think she's getting the phone back at all, she may, she'll get her iPad back eventually but her phone, I think that she's not ready for it, she's shown that she is not capable of having one because number one you're sneaking, hiding, deceitful because you're you're deleting ---- not telling me mind you you didn't tell me about this whole little fight that y'all got into the girl's mother baby phone leaves a voicemail, not nothing crazy, not like that but she was just like, hey you know I'm gonna tell the home girl over there to stop and I'm gonna need you to stop and you know such and such such real nice, real real demure, I was surprised because her daughter had is rough but she was very very nice on the on the on the thing she was like, hey I just need you to you know stop, we're gonna block your number, you don't need to have any more communication because I guess she knows that this little girl is going to another school, there's no reason for having any communications with the kids from the past when she's been you know who she's been terrorizing okay, but fact that you didn't reach out to your mother when another parent was involved even though you didn't talk to another parent she left a voicemail you listened to the voicemail, you know what was said, what was going on and you did not alert me at all that shows me that you knew what you were doing was wrong and you knew that if it got back to me it was gonna be a problem and you did not want that problems at all so you try to hide it and now that you try to hide it you're getting an even worse problem so y'all homegirls locked down clink clink in the jail like ain't ain't no ain't no roblox ain't no ipad ain't no ain't no apps she could just watch tv that's all we got for her and only reason she got that she lucky we wasn't in our own house when this happened because she would have got everything deleted and taken away she lucky she gotta uh be able to watch tv because your i was like you know we're not in our own space i don't want to just kind of like shock her nervous system by taking everything um she can just you know have that little bit of freedom but girl who she think she is cussing like a sailor she's gonna tell me but mama it was just through text i don't do that in real life i thought it was okay because i didn't i don't i don't do that in real life i was just texting it so i didn't say it out my mouth girl listen you have to be 13 maybe it's about to be 13 years old y'all she's about to be a teenager we have to nip some things in a bud okay we have to nip some things in the bud so she is now restricted and london also just got in trouble yesterday it was yesterday or the day before yesterday because she found a way around my roblox block i told y'all they can't communicate can't talk to nobody nothing she found a way around that by going into some kind of chat that allows them to chat in the game she found a way in a place where she could go into this specific game and chat oh you got me messed up too okay give them here give me this one right here and and probably only because she can't read when she when she proceeds to start reading i'm sure she's gonna do something that's gonna get her device taken but as for right now she's the only one that is is able to be on any device at all so devices gone i have some ipads girl i got a i got a phone two phones uh what else i got i got i got all types of things the gadgets the gadgets okay like they got me all the way i said as much as we pay monthly as much as we do for y'all y'all have everything like why does a what does a 13 year old need with a phone an ipad a computer like girl you got oculus like girl what are you doing you're asking for a nintendo switch for christmas like please sit now is these these day and age they so tablet savvy that they have so much like access try my best to put all the locks and all the the things and all i'll be in there and they be like we who's calling us their business is my business but it's still and still they're still able to have a lot more freedom than when we were little so it's scary so i have to really just be on them and i have to make sure that they know like it is serious over here like we ain't playing like ain't no you know i'm saying sugarcoat nothing ain't no letting it slide ain't no none of that i don't care how small or how big i care about how big but i'm saying like even how small i you you're getting it you're getting it it's done it's over with like until we can get some some figuring out around here you know what i'm saying so y'all understand what you have in the tip of your hands y'all gonna have to sit it down okay they need to focus on go to school anyway so that's the next step after this is getting them in school after we get into this house oh child pray for me babies please pray for me
