Restaurant employee allegedly stabbed by woman

Good evening to you. We are continuing to follow breaking news in northeast Harris County. That's where a man was stabbed multiple times inside of a restaurant. Now this happened on FM 1960 and Timber Forest Drive, which is in the Atascocita area near Humble. Our Jillian Hartman joins us live from the scene. So Jillian, what have you learned? Yeah, so authorities gave us an update on the stabbing. They say a man was stabbed multiple times here inside this Thai restaurant behind me and a woman is in custody. Harris County Precinct Four Constable deputies are here on scene investigating. Now deputies tell us they were called here to the Bon Thai Cuisine Restaurant around 6:50 PM for a disturbance between a man and woman in their late 20s. This is located in the Lake Country Plaza along Timber Forest Drive in Humble near Atascocita. And we're told the man works here at this restaurant and the woman used to work here and they have a personal relationship, so they know each other. When deputies arrived on scene, they found the man stabbed multiple times in the chest and neck. He was taken to the hospital. Deputies say the man and woman got into an argument and then she allegedly stabbed him with a knife. Authorities tell us they recovered the knife on scene. Deputies also say the woman ran out the back door and deputies caught her and she's now in custody. So deputies continue to investigate. Right now the victim in this case is in the hospital. We're working to get an update on his condition, but that's the latest from authorities here on scene. So now a woman is in custody and that man is now in the hospital after being stabbed multiple times. Back to you. All right. And do we know anything about the relation in terms of, I know that she was just being detained at the time when we were hearing that press conference live. Yeah, so I'm told she is in custody and we're told that the man and woman knew each other, that he works here at this restaurant.
