Found system not keeping up, was only slightly low on freon, charged, and still has low temp drop, found evidence of attic air being pulled in return.

Video Summary
AI GeneratedA technician is troubleshooting an intermittent issue with an air conditioning unit where the condenser occasionally fails to turn on. After checking the freon levels, capacitors, and the contactor, the technician notes low sub-cooling and high superheat, suggesting the system is not cooling efficiently despite currently running.
all right this one customer says sometimes it works sometimes it don't
sometimes
when he turns it on
condenser don't turn
on let's make sure it's
not blown freon it
first
it's
working
pretty
good
so
low
sub
cooling
high
super
heat
i
stopped
it
for
just
a
second
and
checked capacitor you can
see that it was reading 10
microfarads but the one
for the compressor
ain't reading
nothing there we
go 45 for a second
there i thought it
was a capacitor but
that's
not the problem
my brown wire here
we go look at the
contactor and you
can see it's sealed
pry
that
open
contactor
looks
good
smoking
hot out
here
that's
why I've
got
that I
think
maybe
I had seen these reams running these cubes running
at about 150 psi and as you can see there the sub
cooling
is low
and
super
heat
is
high
a
little
bit my
tent
drop
is you
said
normally
it'll
it'll
cool
off
the
house
except
sometimes
it
doesn't
seem
like
it's
running
out
here
I
gotta
check
make
sure
I
don't
have
a
heat
strip
on
cobwebs
right
there
you
know
there's
an
airport
a
better
temp drop
that's the
next step.
