壺上跑出小馬！馬語・陶心 手捏壺創作展

一團陶土，能捏出什麼？

「馬語・陶心」是嘉義市捏坯壺學會的手捏壺創作展，在嘉義縣中埔鄉嘉檳文化館展出。這些茶壺不用拉坯機，全靠雙手一點一點捏塑成形。馬年到了，壺蓋上也跑出了一匹匹小馬。除了小馬，還有用樹枝當提把、樹皮當壺身的作品，以及臉譜、六角、魚形和刻字壺，每一把都獨一無二。

7 月 4 日上午的開幕茶席，一早就坐滿了喜愛陶藝的朋友。影片中，手捏茶壺陶藝家林春輝老師也和大家分享了創作心得。

What can a lump of clay become?

"Whispers of Horses, Heart of Clay" is a hand-pinched teapot exhibition by the Chiayi City Pinched Pottery Association, held at the Jiabin Cultural Center in Zhongpu Township, Chiayi County. No pottery wheel is used: every teapot is shaped by hand, little by little. For the Year of the Horse, small horses gallop across the teapot lids. Other pieces use branches as handles and bark textures as bodies, and there are opera-mask, hexagonal, fish-shaped and carved-character teapots. Each one is unique.

The opening tea gathering on the morning of July 4 was full of pottery lovers, and ceramic artist Lin Chun-hui shared his thoughts on making hand-pinched teapots.
