An adventurous search for the air handler during no cooling call

All right we just pulled up on a no cooling call. I have no idea what the issue is here. She said it wasn't cooling and that's all we know so we're fixing to go in and see what's going on. All right she told me she checked outside and last night and the fan was not running. What in the world do I have here? They're like the looks of it. The fan was not turning so let's see Come across stuff like this so often. Sometimes you just get resigned So that's the way it is Let's kill power and check these Get in the attic and check that drain pan because if it's got floats with and that was loose that says 45 38 your tune before we replace that I get a 45-5 let's go up and look at the drain pan in the air heated up there up there is my access I know sometimes finding the equipment is half the job tell you what let's move this ladder a little bit you see those rocks right there I think that's a roof they built a roof over a roof that's what they did that drain pan's dry that's an old air handler it's really all I wanted to see we are about to change that contactor and um replace this in this for a 45.5 and see if we can't get it mounted up in there like it needs to be no dangling capacitor here I didn't get video of me checking the bearings on the condenser fan motor amp draws and pressures but all that checked out fine the question is did I find why the condenser wasn't running last night the question is you know I'm not a hundred percent certain but I do know I've left it in better shape than I found it Sometimes that's all you can do.
