I mean, I agree with her, of course, it wouldn't surprise me,
Derek, if folks are still sleeping in that swag,
in that merchandise, because it was such a huge moment in Florida,
which is where we find our Ashley Sears.
Ashley, are folks still there partying it up, celebrating, brooding?
Ashley was literally in the thick
of it all with all of our Brewers fans.
Ashley, how were the celebrations down there last night?
Oh my gosh, they were incredible. I know it was like four
and a half hours ago that I was on the air with those people partying
in the streets, dancing in the streets, so excited for this win.
I got about one hour of sleep, I can tell you that.
Not feeling too hot right now,
but I think people were continuing that party.
This is a look at what it looked like yesterday from St. Petersburg.
We were at a bar named Ferg's.
Ferg's is a raised bar that was totally taken over by Brewers fans.
They were just having the time of their lives, so excited for this win.
This is what it sounded like and looked like yesterday,
or should I say this morning,
just a few hours ago, as fans were celebrating the big win.
This is the most unbelievable day of my life.
I'll never forget it, World Series in '82 when they lost it.
But now I'm here, I'm with my son,
and it's the best thing in the world.
I'm proud of you.
That's a lot.
When that final happened, what was that like?
It was with my dad and my brother,
a month ago, okay?
But she was here with us.
I've been waiting for this for 44 years.
I can't even explain it.
I was crying like...
You can hear that singing.
You couldn't help but get involved in all the action.
Yeah, dancing in the streets.
It was totally incredible.
Bar closed, I looked up, was 3 a.m.
We left around 2.45 last night.
People were saying, we're going to keep on partying through the night.
A lot of them said they're going to then make their way to the airport
because they don't want to miss the parade happening in Milwaukee.
So I think there's going to be a lot of tired,
maybe hungover people at work today.
But, yeah, the party was crazy down here in Florida.
yeah and some of those people were going
on no sleep i know actually Ashley you talked to a group that
literally drove 24 hours straight to get down there to hit the game
and they just kept partying
straight yeah so many people we spoke
to said you know we either drove down on Monday or we
saw the game on Monday we flew out on Tuesday we got down here
at 6 a.m. everyone just wanted to be
part of the magic that is the Milwaukee Brewers
and they got to witness history
last night. That is unbelievable Ashley
I know you're excited just as much as we
are thank you so much we know a lot
of those people are gonna be flying out of
where you are coming back home to Milwaukee which is where we find our
