Replacing leaking TXV I diagnosed a week ago.
all right on this one i cut the dryer out
because where it was sitting i would have risked setting
the house on fire burning up the insulation on his pipe
so i cut it out i'm gonna put it outside
like
burning
tires
he's
up
in
there
it's
a
blue
o-ring
i
can
see
that
but
that's
blue
is
that
right
there
left
that
seal
up
in
there
looks
pretty
good
so
far
oh
yeah
this
system
was
open to the atmosphere for like a month
so it may take me a little while to pull down but
it's getting
there i have
no nameplate
information
to tell me
how much
to charge
so we're going off uh super heat and sub cooling
i'm guessing about eight pounds right now we got
about three in there it's going out on low pressure right now
but we just gotta wait
for it to time out
and we can continue charging i'm at nine pounds four and a half ounces
pressures
are creeping up inside it's
about 70 degrees inside
and I'm running it in cool
we're getting closer
that superheat's coming
down I'm getting above
freezing right there
we'll see any more video without the customer being in the video
but I was trying to charge
it in cool when it was 69 degrees inside
and I ended up overcharging I had to recover about a
pound and a half once I ran it in heat
the head pressure started going up so I had to recover a
little bit but um like I said the customer was on top
of me throughout that one so I couldn't get
any more video when I finished that one up
