Nelly Says Taylor Swift Gave Him $50K in a McDonald's Bag

Y'all were at Taylor and Travis' wedding, they were singing, right? Yeah. Well, I don't get to call her Tay-Tay. She calls her Tay-Tay. Tay-Tay. Tay-Tay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. How'd that relationship come to? Oh, well, I've been knowing her for a long time, her pops, her management, Robert Earl, and things like that. So, you know, she's popped out at some of my shows and Dilemma. I'm going to tell you like this, what really threw me, right? She did Dilemma? Listen, man, Dilemma called me one night, just out of the blue, and said, yo, Nelly, listen, me and my friends, we made a routine to Hot In Herre. Last night, right? She said, we made a routine to hide in here last night. I want to ask you a really big flavor. Now, I'm in St. Louis. She's in Houston. She said, I got two shows in Houston tomorrow and the next day. Can you come down to Houston and just perform it? I don't want to disrespect you. I don't really have a budget like that. Now, listen to her. She said she don't really have a budget. She said, but what I will do, I will send my plane. I will get your room and all of that. And we only have like... $50,000, you know, just, I said, can you put that in a McDonald's bag? That's what I was saying. I said, but I would have did it for free, you know what I'm saying? So I was like, yeah, we're good. Sent the G5, not four, five. Sent the five, picked up me and the kids, flew us down to Houston because she was doing like three to four nights at the baseball stadium. 56,000 people, they got them rammed in there. No budget. We did it. She was like, yo, three minutes, her father, Robert Earl comes out, Tosses me a McDonald bag, $50,000 cash. Hey, how you doing? I was like, oh, no s**t. Okay, cool. Now, the money ain't really the issue, but she was just like, yo, the jet is there whenever you're ready. And she got us the presidential suite right there. I think that's the Four Seasons. That's right there by the stadium. Had the top. We never saw the room. We stayed at the show and went back to the airport or whatever the case may be. I mean, for somebody just to call you up and, you know, me and my friends, we made a routine to hide in here. We really want you to come out. Do you think? Hell yeah.
