Weight loss progress: Week 1
Oct 30, 2026
Hi guys! Hi everyone! Hello!
I'll let this to completely go live.
I had so many messages from you guys asking me about my progress so
um officially it's been one week
and four days yes because today's thursday
um yeah so i just wanted to quickly give you
a short overview of what i've been doing
so far and what i've been eating
and um yeah about my progress so um if you're just coming online say hi
I'm in Latvia at the moment. Hi Anne, hello!
I'm in Latvia at the moment, so it's very,
very cold here, like absolutely freezing.
But what I've done so far is going for a short run
or like a light jog slash walk, which really is motivating.
You know, once you start, you feel really unfit and unhealthy, but then
it's been, what, four or five days and I've kind of done this in a row.
Thanks, Sam. Thanks for the recipes. They're good.
So yeah guys, I'm also in process of filming my daily routine
because a lot of you basically
asked me what I get up to in a day,
what do I eat, what's my gym routine, so I wanted
to kind of show you as well and I'm doing it now
so if you've got any other ideas, leave
the comments down below, let me know what you want to see and stuff.
Let me know if you can hear me,
I just realised, I hope I have the sound on.
Guys let me know if you can hear me
because that would be a disaster starting a live show
without the um okay all your messages are popping up now
in case you're saying stuff um yeah so
I'm not gonna lie, I found it really,
really challenging for Easter, so I kind of arrived
here last week on Thursday and, you know,
there's so much food at home, there's a grandma, there's
dad. Hi Barla, hello! Barla Santos.
So I've been eating so much food and I've eaten a lot more than
what's my daily goal, so I'm trying to eat around 1800 calories a day
and pretty much trying to eat
It's not I'm not limited to any foods like I can eat whatever I want
and I'm still I've still been exercising every day,
which is good, but I have eaten a lot.
Hi Danny, Mariana, hi.
Bye bye.
Yeah, and it kind of made me feel guilty and bad.
You know that feeling when you eat and you kind of feel happy
because you're eating at that time, but then when you overeat
and then it makes you feel really guilty and you start to think,
why have I done this?
And then you kind of feel like, oh, this is the end of the world
and this is exactly what me and Rob talked in the last live show.
If you haven't seen that, make sure you watch it
because there's a lot of tips and ideas there.
And, but I kind of just kept my head high.
I went to exercise the next day and I tried to eat less.
Yes.
I still ended up eating a bit more than usual.
But like I said, it's been very difficult. It's
been so difficult. And I just want you to know
that you're not a lot, you're not like alone in
this. Elizabeth, please tell me what you eat for breakfast.
So today I had eggs. I had two eggs
with mayonnaise and cheese. Hi Amal!
Okay, that's good. So I try and kind of...
Sorry my nose is a bit runny.
I try and have eggs for breakfast now that I'm here because I don't
have my smoothie makers or I don't have any equipment at home.
My dad doesn't really cook
a lot so there's not much I can
do with food except just like eating meat and dairy and eggs.
So I feel like the food here has
been a lot heavier like a lot of cheese which is fat.
But,
but i've really really enjoyed it
so and i'm still staying here for a while
and so it's going to be still quite challenging to to try
and eat super healthy but i'm i'm doing
the exercise i'm doing my calorie guides
and i'm running every day i wouldn't say running
but more like jogging like jog
Say something in Russian.
Hello, Roman.
So yeah, I just wanted to kind of let you know guys
that it's really difficult and you're not
alone in this. Danny,
what's been the most difficult part for you? You know, the most
difficult part for me is just kind of having all
this food around me like 24-7, like at home. I
don't buy stuff like chocolates and candies
and I don't have anyone cooking me like pancakes every
Every day or...
some sort of like really delicious food
so it's really hard to say no and it's in front of your
face so if you live by yourself
or if you don't like you know if you if you're living you know
with like parents and stuff
then make sure you don't have anything in the house that can tempt
you you know things like that really tempt you
and then they test you and then you do give in
eventually because you know everyone can have discipline
but there's so much you can take
So, I have been giving in, I've been eating these Latvian,
they're called syročki, which are like cottage cheese,
cottage cheese, like, kind of little, little,
little, like, cheesecakes wrapped in chocolate,
and they're kind of healthy, but I've had four yesterday, and...
I couldn't stop and I know it's really bad
but I just want to be honest with you guys because
there's no point telling you how easy it is and you know
that it's all like kind of a smooth ride
but it's really difficult.
Today I'm gonna try and eat a lot healthier and I'm gonna try and
get back onto the kind of less no sugar stuff
but again it's so difficult here. But yeah
I haven't weighted myself because I'm back here in Latvia
so I don't want to, you know,
you need to make sure that you weigh yourself
on the same scales and the same day
in the same underwear and then that way you get the perfect results.
And if anybody wants like
a fitness plan I've written it out in excel file so
For example, I put all my measurements there,
how many steps I did, how much I walked and so on.
So if you want that, leave the comment down below.
I can send it to you for free because I did spend some time creating
because it is more motivating.
Thank you for the meeting.
Yeah, but if you're doing this challenge with me
or if you're just trying to get healthy, keep going.
If you mess up one day or two, like in my case, I just kind
of keep going and I'm trying to make healthier food choices.
And I find it really difficult to eat when I travel as well.
So yesterday I was traveling back here, three-hour bus drive.
And usually I would get like crisps and chocolate and things like that.
But I went to the shops and I bought some raspberries.
I bought orange juice.
I bought like carrots.
And so I still have something to snack, but it's not as bad.
And it made me realize that I'm already subconsciously kind
of making healthier choices.
So definitely try doing that as well.
But week one is going well, it's kind of week two.
I'm going to measure myself next week on
Tuesday in London and I'll let you know how much weight I have lost
so far. Yeah, but that's just
a quick update really.
Let me know if you're struggling, if you wanna, you know, if just, just
You know, it's hard. It's hard. I'm not going to lie.
But I'm doing the exercise every day
and I'm trying to have a goal to exercise one hour a day.
If you just set that self,
if you kind of just do it every day rather than
think about it like, oh, I need to do this for
several months or weeks, just think, okay,
today I'm going to try and walk as much as I can or
today I'm going to try and go to the gym.
And that way, hopefully, it will be a bit easier for you.
But yeah, by the way,
the picture behind is me when I was 14 years old in school.
So that was a really long time ago.
It feels like a really long time ago.
So, but yeah, guys, in terms of food,
like I said, it hasn't been great.
I'm kind of eating a lot of meat and cheese
and sweets and chocolate a little bit.
Um...
But like I said, I'm doing my best as I can while I'm away.
So if you're traveling,
just try and buy carrots and stuff and snack on those instead of chips.
I'm going to give you a couple of tips.
Well, guys, I hope you enjoyed this video.
Like I said, it's just a quick short update
to let you know what I've been doing.
But I'm proud that I've stuck to my exercise routine
and that kind of makes me feel better.
And I think hopefully I have lost some weight.
If I haven't, then it just proves that.
The food's really, really important
and you have to kind of try and not overeat.
That's what I do.
I just overeat.
You know, I actually calculated how many calories I consumed on Easter
and it was ridiculous.
It was like 3,600 calories.
So it's quite shocking when you actually put the food into the diary.
I'm using my fitness pal.
So...
If you have that, it's a free application as well.
You can just, hi Arunas, hello.
Hello!
It's a free app where you input all the food that you eat
and it automatically syncs your exercises, which is really great.
And it just really shows you how little food you can eat
and how many calories you can consume.
So bear that in mind.
Because...
If you actually measure your food as well,
which I'm doing now, I have the scales
and I'm measuring it, it's shocking you know.
I used to think that like a small like piece of
cheese that was like nothing but that's actually like 30-40 grams
which is about 200 calories you
know and before you know it I've eaten like 600 calories of just cheese
which is just feels like
It was like a snack, so...
Yeah, make sure you weight your food as well.
Anyway, guys, I'll see you next week.
I hope you're all having a fabulous time wherever you are.
You had a lovely Easter with your family.
And I'll update you next week.
And I hopefully will have some results
and see how much weight I've lost.
So, yeah, fingers crossed.
Bye, guys.
