James Kaufman World News Report today.
Ladies and gentlemen, JPL has just released information
about another near-Earth object,
a space rock that is currently inbound. This rock is inbound
just over 50 feet in diameter.
You can see it's coming in at a slight inclination
from the orbit of Jupiter. Makes me wonder
If it was knocked loose by Atlas, this would
be right where our Oort cloud is, and this would
be exactly what I thought might happen.
Obviously, that's between Jupiter and Mars,
and all of a sudden, this thing is inbound.
This is 2025 TC.
The close approach is for tomorrow.
It's going to be the 23rd.
2025 TC and it's going to be a very close approach.
We have it at around 0.1 lunar distances
which would be about 25,000 miles minus the radius of the earth
which is about 4,000 miles
bringing it to just around 20,000 miles.
We'll see if that information is still good. This
This information was just released, just released by JPL.
Let's take a look.
Again, 2025 TC inbound for tomorrow,
October 3rd.
The same day, i.e., the close approach to Mars occurs,
which really is the 23rd UTC time.
Some places on Earth.
So, Comet Atlas is currently flying by Mars,
and hopefully it will be photographed by six
of our satellites that we have in and around Mars.
All right, solution date, October 2nd, 2025, which is today.
They just released it.
They said they saw it on the 30th, two days ago.
64 total observations, a very high condition code, which bothers me.
Nine being they have no idea how big it is or where it's headed.
Zero being they are certain of how large it is and where it's headed.
Condition code of 7 is much closer to highly uncertain.
It was seen by our AI software.
It is coming in very quickly, just over 16 kilometers per second.
So it's a fairly decent-sized space rock,
I believe, between 50 and 60 feet,
coming in at over 16 kilometers per second.
Taking a look at the close approach data,
very little has been extrapolated from all those views.
It's going to pass Earth,
really, tonight about 1.34
central time at 0.0057.
I'm going to give you that distance.
It's also going to pass the moon.
Let's see before that.
And it's going to be much closer to the moon.
Let's see how close it's going to be to Earth here.
All right, some quick math, taking us into miles,
considering the radius of the Earth measured
from the center of the Earth,
looking at 40,000 miles away.
Now, that might sound like a large distance,
but it's a very, very close shave.
And most of these rocks do have companions.
Y'all might have heard me mention that they found, they believe,
nine or more companions behind Atlas III.
That's right, nine or more companions behind Atlas III currently.
Now, again, we're looking at about 1:34 plus or minus one second,
so they must think they have it down, but the condition code is seven.
Which means they don't have that orbit down very well at all.
The rock could be larger.
The orbit could be coming right for planet Earth.
Not a huge rock.
It is moving very quickly.
It should penetrate our atmosphere, especially with our shields down.
So it could cause some problem for folks here
on the planet if it were to come through tonight.
But we're looking again around 1.
1.30 central time here in the U.S.
It's going to be about 40,000 miles out.
Should probably be visible with the naked eye.
All right, in summary, we have 2025 TC inbound for this evening
at just after 1.30 central time,
really tomorrow morning, 1.30 central time.
It's between 50 and 60 feet in diameter at a slight inclination.
It looks like it originated right around the Oort cloud,
which is exactly what I did not want to see here.
And it was pushed towards the inner solar system for a very,
very close approach to Earth, being less than 40,000 miles.
Keep that in mind, especially with a condition code of 7.
God bless folks. Keep your eyes to the skies and be careful out there.
It could get very dangerous
very soon. God bless. Share, subscribe,
and always remember that anything's possible in Bizarro World.
