James Kaufman, World News Report today. Ladies and gentlemen,
we have two inbound space rocks near Earth objects.
This being the first one,
it's going to fly by in the next hour or so, a little late.
JPL has just announced this on the same day it's flying by.
Luckily, this rock's only about 15 feet in diameter.
You can see it's coming from a place,
well, just inside the orbit of Mars.
And they just released the information as I'll approve.
Again, only 12 feet in diameter.
We got a much larger problem on the 19th.
This one's called 2025 RJ2.
And again, we're talking about 15 feet in diameter,
something of that nature.
We're talking about not a huge inclination, not moving very fast.
It's coming in right now, so there's not much we can do about it,
but it's small enough that it really won't matter.
We hope it burns up with an entry.
It probably will be in that small.
Again, 2025 RJ2.
Just announced today, and I'll prove that before we move on,
to the big rock, the 75-plus-foot rock that's inbound for the 19th.
Boy is the 19th, 20th,
21st and 22nd going to be an interesting four day span.
And just like I said, they released the data on September 15th today,
the same day as the flyby.
The condition code is six, which is not terrible.
Again, the rock's only 15 feet in diameter,
so I don't think it's going to matter.
one way or another the rock was first seen yesterday
on the 14th one day of actual data 29
observations seen by our ai software let's move
on to the big rock all right also announced just
today as i will show y'all 2025 rl2 we can see again
this is an inner solar system rock
This would not be a part of the asteroid belt.
So it probably wasn't hit by Atlas coming through.
These rocks appear to be part of the belt
or have originated outside of Mars.
This looks like an inner solar system rock.
And we're talking about a closed shape in between Earth
and the moon on the 19th.
And here we are here, 2025 RL2,
moving at 10 kilometers per second, about 75 feet in diameter.
And we'll go ahead and take it in.
16, 17, 18, and 19.
And as you can see, it's one and the same.
We're talking about, again, flying between the moon and Earth.
A lot of rocks have been coming our way lately.
This one doesn't look like it originated outside of Mars,
which would have been the asteroid belt,
so we can't blame ATLAS quite yet.
2025 RL2 expected on the 19th. We'll go over the exact time.
Let's get some detailed information
about this decent-sized space rock traveling
at 10 kilometers per second. All right, solution date
today, September 15th, but of course, when did they see it?
They first saw it on the 13th,
two days of data, 37 observations here, condition code 7.
0 being they know exactly how large it is and where it's heading,
and 9 being they have no idea or are highly uncertain.
7 is much closer to 9 than 0, so this might be a larger rock
and they might not have the route completely computed.
This was seen by our AI software, Automatic.
Again, it's inbound and said to be about 75 feet in diameter.
But the condition code is rather high at a 7 there.
All right, here we have our close approach data.
And it looks like on the 19th,
0.00145 astronomical units away
from Earth and 0.00354.
Obviously closer to Earth than the moon here.
Looks like it's coming in at 8.57 UTC time.
Which would be 1.57 central time here in the morning.
Just after midnight on the 19th.
So we can start looking for that one late on the 18th.
Again, this is a little bit larger rock.
Moving right below 10 kilometers per second right here.
And it's not going to be too up close and personal.
We've seen them closer.
But it will be a lot closer to Earth than
the Moon according to this close approach data.
Remember, we do have a condition code of 7,
so they're fairly uncertain at this point.
They might update this between now and the 19th.
All right, to summarize, we have two space rocks,
one approaching very soon.
Second, it'll fly right by the Earth in the next 30 minutes or so,
although it's a small rock and I don't think we have any worries.
That's 2025 RJ2. Again, that one's passing by in the next few minutes.
15 feet in diameter.
Not moving very quickly and not a huge inclination.
Then we have a little bit larger rock here. 75 feet in diameter.
This one's going to make its closer approach.
Right after midnight, right at the beginning of the morning,
about 1.57 in the morning on the 19th,
the 19th of September, this rock is 2025 RL2,
about 75 feet in diameter, although the condition code is a 7,
so that means that they're fairly uncertain about that, and it's coming
in between the moon and Earth, much closer to Earth than the moon.
a decent inclination coming from above the plane
and then moving onto the plane just as it does by
earth here and again uh this rock is moving
at about 10 kilometers per second expected again
on the 19th and that's early morning on the 19th
so we'll be looking out for that god bless you
you guys it's about to get crazy around here please share
and subscribe and always remember
Anything's possible.
Bizarro world.
