Helping Eleanor Smile Again On Halloween Night!

It's gonna be weird that this is officially the first vlog you guys are gonna see without Kira, and unfortunately it is our Halloween special, but this is just what we do guys, we gotta keep filming, we gotta keep making memories, we gotta keep doing what we do, we are interrupting some regularly scheduled vlogs to bring you the Halloween special, and not gonna lie, we've already been carving pumpkins for two days, I couldn't bring myself to bring the camera out, today's the day I felt like doing it. Also, don't feel like doing it, but do feel like doing it. It's really hard to explain. Look, Jamie took the fence down so girls can reach that. Ha, ha, ha, ha. It's weird. We haven't had only one dog in 18 years. So, want to get an apple? Come here. You want one? Look, you can reach this one. You want to do it? You want to? She says, no, I don't want to pull it off the tree. I'm starting to speak now. So anyway, as I was saying, this is going to interrupt vlogs. We do still have a few vlogs left with Kira in them. I'll probably do explanations through the next vlogs. It's just going to be weird. There's no like easy way to put it. The next few vlogs, you're kind of going to see a little bit of what started to happen, but then the three days of crisis we were in with her, we didn't really film anything. So I'll probably put some explainers in the the next upcoming blogs vlogs. Also please thank Dan for everything down in the comments because he has to edit these and edit out me crying. I wasn't kidding when I said we got started. We got started one day late. Normally we start five days ahead of ahead of time, but with everything that happened. We uh didn't carve the first day. That was the day that she passed away. But we have 42 done and if we get 25 done a day we'll have our 100 done and we have 42. Is it possible? You guys are just gonna have to stick around and find out. And as we've done the past few Halloweens you get the whole thing in this video because we don't vlog a lot during this because there's a lot going on. So thank you to everybody that showed up the first two days. Let's roll it on into day three of pumpkin carving. Are you okay sweetheart? So everybody is here to carve pumpkins. It's kids night tonight and Eleanor is not having the greatest of times. She's like, I want to see everybody but also mom does a lot. It's okay, it's okay. So we're all kind of taking turns hanging out up here with her. It's beautiful and sunny out today you guys, holy cow! But we're kind of up here taking care of her. I'm making some food so we'll take turns chilling with you. We'll give you a bully stick in a little bit. Yeah, I know. We have to find you a friend. After Halloween, my friend Marie, MJ Husky Love, she might bring Yuka over to play with Eleanor. Yuka is kind of chill. We might have Stewart come over and play with her. He's, you know, a lot and she might not handle that real well. Let's see. We got you girl. I guess now, we have to protect Eleanor at all costs, right? I don't like saying that at all. We just had a whole heck of a lot of fun but we'll take you upstairs and show you some of the pumpkins that we've done and I figured you'd like to see the mess. We'll say 65 or 70. 70 okay and 70 and then I don't know almost 30. Okay that's not too bad considering we're we were one day behind. I haven't showed them any of it but this Memphis pumpkin is like literally looking right at us. And then yeah we've faced a lot of them so we can peer out here and look at them. Yeah and then I see two Kira pumpkins over here. That one, can you guys tell that Greg did that one? Don't worry, you'll see it lit up before this video is over, because we're just taking you all the way to Halloween night with these videos, because there's no point in not. We're not making you wait. It's a Halloween spook-a-tack-a-lo-ar! Spooked. Yeah, Mike did that one. His kids are into Michael Jackson. When Mike's kids came to the house, they went down the rainbow steps. Oh did you hear what they said Dan? No I did not. So my friend Mike's kids every single one of them the stairs light up rainbow you guys have seen it and they said this reminds me of the Billie Jean music video where he walks up and down the steps and it you can insert that in here without music right we won't get in trouble. I thought it was going to be the alien ant farm sweet criminal. Oh, right, right. I think this is so, yeah. Also, real quick, we're due for a music video with more Light Up Forest. It's been a minute. It's true. It's very true. Now you're back in it. Shut up! Which one were you going to point out before I started running my mouth? Mike did the thriller. Oh, yes, yes, he did. He did the thriller. Yeah, his kids are really into Michael Jackson, which is kind of cool, you know. You know, I was in dark. Jamie wanted to do a lot of dogs, so there's some dogs. I'm on the Mario kick because the kids wanted Mario. So I'm trying to... I have only done six pumpkins. I have failed compared to the rest of you. Yeah but we're doing it. This is the end of... Is this day three? Three for carving. End of day three. Don't worry we'll just roll right into the next day. All right we're gonna start day four of this pumpkin carving insanity. Oh my goodness. Miss Eleanor. It's still so weird and I think I said this at the beginning of the video but this is This video is the first video where we pick up the cameras and film again after we've lost Kira. So if the Halloween video is weird, she's hiding behind the tree, then the Halloween video is weird. Are we looking for squirrels? Look at all the leaves. Maybe you will get a leaf pile this year. A leaf pile out of yourself? She's looking for squirrels. She's so happy that that fence is gone. She's like, I can get all my sniffs in back here and sniff all the squirrels and find all the Yep, see her, look at, she's a pointer. I don't know if you guys saw it but she see she got her front foot up she's pointing at things because the squirrels are living in there as always. Ha, ha, ha, ha. I feel like I should start this at your feet and be like a dog came to visit Eleanor. CG today is so good you can't even tell. You want to run around with Eleanor? We're either going to scare her or not. Yes and every comment that you're saying out loud right now is correct. That's correct. This was originally purchased before I came out because Kira's back was hurt and if there was a chance she couldn't run around, I was going to step in and be proxied. She was going to watch from the window while I'm like, I got you friend. Well, now Art's imitating life. Life. I don't know how to feel. I don't either. Me standing here like a Christmas story while you guys laugh and you cry, it made me pretty happy. I don't know how I look, but I can only imagine. No, these tears are because I can't stop. We got our list this year. The list is inaccurate, though. I counted based on what we actually have upstairs. Right. But look how many humans have come. Yeah. A lot of humans have come and carved pumpkins. Lots of the peoples. Yeah, because I don't think... Oh, Charlotte's name's on there, but John Matthew and my brother's name's not on there. So, yeah. Also, Dan, if you haven't noticed, we've saved your... It doesn't show up real good on camera, but we saved your reverse backwards pumpkin. And I know everybody keeps asking, she's down here with us too. She's not sure how she feels about it, but she's down here. Look, it was kids night last night. It was. It was. The sound level was... That's a corned beef that I got for 50% off, so I had to go in the freezer. Oh, and what are the cubes? That's a dog food. Well, speaking of, I got to take one of these out for Eleanor. There's also chicken feet in there if you want some chicken paws. Pause. Chicken paws. They are! Can we make chicken fries? Are you surprised? I don't think that's what's going on. Right? Yeah this is this is the bonus food for for Illinois. I gotta take that out so. Okay I guess we're carving pumpkin. There's no more messing around. Yeah the drum comes out. Yeah we gotta carve. She's not sure what she thinks about her. She's like, I don't know how I feel about this. Look at this This is little Mo. Oh my God, it's not our cat, but oh my gosh, you're so cute. She's like, nah, I don't know. That dog's sleeping next to you tonight. Stop feeding the dog broccoli soup! It's the cheese! Oh my goodness! What is that, Elnor? Oh! Look at all these pumpkins! She's like, I'm over here looking at stuff over here. Come here, come check out the pumpkins. That's the recyclables, you weirdo. Somebody did dump pumpkin guts in there. Oh no, in the recyclables. This one was the greatest. Come on, check that out. She's like, whoa, I've never been able to be allowed out here when there's pumpkins. Hi, when there's pumpkins out here. So we think our tentative count is 103, which means we did like 40 tonight, if that's true. I'm just saying. Yes, I believe we did 40 tonight. Yeah. At least. Yeah. At least. That's a lot. We'll get our official count before the end of this video, because we're just going to roll into the next day of setup and the craziness. I got to say, though, holy cow. I know not all of our friends watch our stuff, but I can't thank you guys enough. Dan, you're here. I can say it to you, too. I can't thank you guys enough. Really, I can't. We're getting ready to set up Halloween and we're letting Eleanor out, trying to get her to play and have some fun and dragonfly friend decided to come hang out with us. We've also counted 102 and then we counted 104 but two of us counted 103 so we're going with 103. We'll probably count them again or somebody count them as I'm going through. We even had to get the table out. We had... They were so big so they make a lot of... That we need extra space but there they are. I just gotta wait till trick-or-treating time. Highland cow was also done in honor of Memphis. I did a whole little section of... Mario pumpkins here, so you can kind of see all those. There's a Jimothy. Everybody knows who Jimothy is, right? If you don't, look it up. The theme this year officially became dog. Like we just tried to do a bunch of dog pumpkins and a whole bunch of Disney characters as well. Winnie the Pooh. Greg's mom did a whole bunch of these. Spider-Man. Yeah, I guess it does look better if I do them up close like this, huh? Alright, I guess I'll give you the more up-close look at most of them. We'll start over again and see them better. Yeah, that does look better, doesn't it? Okay, star, toad, boomba, a boo, a fire flower. Look a dog, look a dog, look a dog. There's a Scooby dog and a random dragon and a Pluto and a piglet. Oh, we're back to these ones here. Clifford the big red dog. Dory, a couple of Nightmare Before Christmas ones made it this year, Snoopy, that's a dog, that's a dog, that's Santa's little helper, another Snoopy, more dog paws, another dog, a heart paw prince, a goat, a cat, headless horseman, what else we got here, we got day of the dead kitty, day of the dead dog, and a couple of just day of the dead looking pumpkins. A skeleton balloon dog, which that one was pretty cool. Oh, don't forget these. Detroit Lions. Cooper Black. He's the six foot nine goalie from here in Alpena, whose parents I've known for forever. I've known Cooper since he was well below six foot nine. He's got to play for the Florida Panthers and they pulled him up and he actually got to play in an NHL game, which is pretty cool. Of course, we did some hockey logos because you have to. A skeleton kitty. Let's do it like this. All right. Uh, Monster High doll. I think Jamie did this one. There's so many this year. I don't even know who did what. Oh, there was a couple Michael Jackson pumpkins and I was ridiculously surprised how many Michael Jackson costumes I saw this year. But I forgot that the zombie girl. I forgot that the Michael Jackson movie came out this year. I think it was this year, so I think that's probably why. That's John Matthews. That's the Galantis pumpkin. Remember what he said he was? That's his favorite band. Galantis. Dog, a unicorn and a dog. There's a Jack Skellington face. A ladybug. Hey, you should have went with the other Jack pumpkins. Uh, yeah, that. This one was cool. I don't know who did this one. That one's really cool. You people. Less people, more dogs. We catch a theme here this year, guys. A cat, blue from Blue's Clues, gotta have a Minecraft pumpkin, dragon, dog, Batman, what do we got here? A ghost, an owl, bender, notice the theme? Running theme, right? The crazy kitty, another patchwork kitty, skull, another kitty, this one was Charlotte's. A really cool one. I actually carved that one in a pumpkin one year and won a contest with it. Betty Boop, I don't know who did that one either. The siren that looks like the... Logo from Starbucks. This is the only pumpkin this year with an actual candle in it. Because we were one bulb short. Cujo, can you see him? Ghost face. We had a lot of ghost face kids too. A witch, a skull, jack-o'-lantern, another jack-o'-lantern. My dad did that one. Crazy face from some show, I don't know. Really cool pumpkin face. Another cool cat. Greg did that one by hand. Just pulled it up and I think that's it. I think that's all of them. He is officially Seen them all. There, it's Halloween. We ended up with 103 and a lot of people. I don't know how we pulled this off, but I can't thank my friends and family enough for helping us to do this because, man, one, I didn't want to do it. Two, I didn't think there'd be any way we could do it, and we did it. I know. Halloween is over. We're done. We did it. Can't thank everybody enough for everything they did to help us pull this off.
