New Channel: http://bit.ly/37AJpuS Apologies for not getting anything uploaded in the last few months but I'm knackered both physically and mentally due to my insane work schedule. However, I am intending to edit and upload all the videos I've shot over the last year or so in the next few weeks. Sorry if I can't monitor the comments but the channel has grown to the size where I can no longer manage it and still have a job, family and life - this is my hobby, not my life. Feel free to ring me any time on 07772848730 as I'm always available to answer any questions you have, no worries....I much prefer the personal interaction instead of answering hundreds of comments a week from all over the world with the acknowledgement of my efforts being made maybe by 5% of people there at best.
If you've enjoyed this video please check out the playlists on my channel for hundreds more - on a variety of subjects. Feel free to share or link any of my videos on facebook, twitter, forums etc. for the benefit of anyone you think may also enjoy watching. See you next time. Pondguru
hello guys this is just a very quick video just
to prove that i haven't died
now that may come as a shock to some people
because i haven't put a video out for four months
so i think a lot of people just assumed
that i had quietly passed away unfortunately my
work has just been absolutely manic orders
are at an unprecedented level and it's eaten up
Huge portions of every day.
We've been doing a lot of work on the house,
we've been doing a lot of work on the garden,
and that work continues.
Now YouTube's never been a commercial venture to me,
it's always been a hobby, I love doing it.
Especially anything that's educational,
because those sort of videos to me have real value,
even if they don't get seen by many people.
Um, so it's kind of bummed me out
that I haven't put anything out for many months.
I am going to rectify that in the coming weeks.
I've got a backlog of videos that I've shot.
Most of them are on filters, but there's other things there as well.
And I'm basically just going to throw them onto the channel.
As soon as I get them edited, they're just going to be thrown up there.
I'm not going to be able to go through the comment section.
So if you want to get a hold of me, please just phone me.
I always put my phone number in the video description.
That's the best way to get a hold of me.
I'm available all the time.
I simply don't have time to go through all the comments.
It's probably the best part
of a thousand videos up there now on the channel.
And most of those regularly get comments on.
I kind of keep up with it, you know.
For people watching professional YouTubers,
they probably don't understand that.
Because a lot of people devote their lives to YouTube,
I cannot do that, you know, I must have answered tens
of thousands of comments on there, and obviously,
hopefully helped a lot of people along the way, I cannot do that,
if you want help, phone me, as I say, I'm always here.
This next part is going to sound very strange to a lot of people,
especially seeing as I have just told you that I have no time.
But I've actually been doing a lot of Amazon reviews.
I just basically enjoy helping people.
There's so much fakery and nonsense out there.
I kind of feel as if, I don't know, I find value in good reviews
and proper information being put out there.
So I have always enjoyed doing that.
So I've produced quite a lot of Amazon reviews
and I'm starting to do a lot of videos connected to that.
Some of the stuff I'm reviewing doesn't
really fit in with this channel.
So I am actually setting up a new channel.
I will put the link in the video description and in the pinned comment,
so if you want to check that out,
there's not many videos on there now, but there soon will be.
It's basically going to be for outdoor stuff.
Most of the videos will be review orientated, although there will
be some demonstrations where I'm like building stuff outside,
bushcraft and survival sort of stuff.
I'll probably include the fishing things there as well. To be honest,
I might just start uploading the target shooting videos there
and that sort of thing that doesn't really fit
in with the Pond Guru aquatic sort of side of things.
Now a lot of people don't like to subscribe to a channel
or watch videos about anything other than
one specific thing, so I'm not exactly pandering to those folks
but I am bowing to them a little bit.
The outdoorsy stuff, the fishing stuff,
is basically going to start to be uploaded on
the new channel as well as all the outdoorsy reviews.
Some of them will make their way
into this main channel, onto the Pond Guru channel.
But, hopefully, eventually,
both channels will be suited to both sets of viewers.
Obviously, you've got people who are broad-minded enough to want
to experience different things and learn about different things.
You might just subscribe to both channels.
To me, that's fine. It's not about subscriber numbers.
It's basically just about producing good, helpful videos
and trying to keep the people who watch those videos happy.
I am aware of the fact that I will never be able
to do that 100% of the time, but I shall try.
So that's it, basically, for me.
Thank you for continuing to watch these videos.
Sorry I can't get to the comments.
I have had to cut that out of my life,
or I would literally get no sleep at all.
I don't get much sleep as it is.
I can't get none, because the brain would deteriorate.
If you want to check out the new channel,
it's called Thousand Yard Stare.
And as I said, the link is in the video description
and in the pinned comment.
There will be videos being uploaded to there.
And I will bring some of the older videos,
the outdoorsy videos, to the new channel as well.
So it kind of creates a more rounded theme to it.
Thanks for watching. See you next time.
