We're going to talk about today's weather.
Matt, I am. Thank you so much, Sal.
Appreciate you. Happy Thursday, everyone.
Going to pop up this gorgeous shot right here.
Yeah, keeping a close eye on, you know, just the coast.
I mean, this is pretty incredible.
We see a surfer out there. He's bold.
Try to avoid the waters, folks.
It's as simple as that. We were just talking.
We're seeing this advisory stretching well into November.
I'll show you what I'm talking about in just a moment.
Let's go ahead and match up some seasonal averages
to forecast highs for today.
69 is what San Francisco will be seeing today,
two degrees above that seasonal average.
And word to the wise, sun rose at 6:37, looking to set at 5:07.
All right, this is something I want to just get out of the way
because it's pretty remarkable.
So seeing just a parade of atmospheric rivers continuing
to move towards the northwest and just really just pummeling.
It's saturating areas such as you can see, Seattle and parts of Oregon.
Now, this is what we are focused on.
We're looking at two separate models, and one is, you can see here,
indicating that we're going to have
a very busy week next week as far as rain is concerned.
Another model is showing that this system
wants to stay well north of us.
So, every day, we'll obviously be tracking this moisture
and seeing exactly where it's going to move the path,
right, of this jet stream
and how this will affect us.
Let's go ahead and look at this.
This is a beach hazard statement.
This is due to expire Saturday.
Very good chance it could be extended.
This thing has been on and off like
a light switch for several weeks now.
You can see today we're looking about
10 feet as far as waves are concerned.
Tomorrow, maxing out at 15 plus.
As I mentioned a moment ago,
please just do your best to avoid the water.
Spectate from a distance.
Coastal flood advisory, pretty remarkable.
Again, this has been extended through the 13th.
You normally don't see advisories last that long.
This is another one that should have just stayed into effect.
So 8:35 this morning, 7 feet.
That's what we're seeing as far as tides rising.
Just be safe, right?
You all know, living in low-lying areas, this is not new.
All right, as far as winds are concerned,
winds are cooperating yet again.
High pressure moving in, slowing things down.
Clearing things out and warming things up pretty quickly.
Let's get to your forecasted highs.
Really, 70s for most of us.
Yesterday, we saw 170 on the board.
It was 71 for areas such as Gilroy.
So, day two of this warming trend.
Going to take good care of us, folks.
And look at this.
Numbers slowly ticking upwards.
82 Saturday and Sunday.
Don't forget, small shot of rain once we hit next week.
Just stick with us while we track this chance.
All right, you hear that music?
You know what that means?
We'll meet you back here in just a couple minutes.
