I really love fashion, and I was like,
I should make a business where I can sell bags and glasses.
So how did you do it, though, Ariella?
I did it with a lot of help from my sister and her confidence.
For one, I wanted to give up. She was always there for me.
And also my parents, they helped me, and they paid for it.
For the things that I needed for my business.
What inspired you to start your cosmetic business at just 11 years old?
So when I was younger, I grew up with having sensitive skin and eczema.
So whenever I would wear certain products on my lips,
it would always irritate my lips, sometimes burn them.
So that's where I came up with my cosmetic line called Aya Beauty.
And it's vegan and cruelty-free for girls with sensitive skin.
Ariella, what has it been like for you to be in school and also,
along with your sister here, trying to run a business?
So sometimes it's pretty hard, like events like on the weekday.
But also, it's mostly hard when it's, like,
a weekday because I have to, like, do my inventory.
But I like to keep all my business stuff on the weekends
so that I have, like, all the weekdays to just go through my homework.
And since I'm in grade 5, there's a lot
of homework that's coming in now.
From, like, grade 1, it wasn't really, like, hard.
But now there's more homework and, like, presentations.
So I have to, like, have a day where I just do all my homework.
And those are my weekdays.
So we get.
Weekends are mostly business.
