Hyundai Bayon Drive, The Himalayan 750 Walkaround & Bajaj Pulsar N250SS Ride | Times Drive Show
Nov 7, 2026
Hello friends, I'm Manav Sina, and you're watching what a TV show where
But we bring you India's finest automotive action because this is it.
Time Strike Show and just leave AB Week this week is available for view.
We're kicking off with the major SUV launch of the festive season.
It's the Hyundai Bayon
It's supposed to be a spiritual successor to the Creta, at the very least.
We took it for a drive to find out exactly what it brings to the table.
And that's not all—we're also going all the way to Italy.
To get our hands on the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 750
And in this show, we will be telling you everything you need to know about it.
And last but not the least, we will take you for a ride.
Bajaj Pulsar N250 SS on it
A new pulsar that has entered our market with the
the spiritual promise of what a pulsar is supposed to be
As you can see, quite a lot is coming your way.
And yes, today our guest is the Ducati Monster
Now this is one of the craziest street-legal naked motorcycles
that you can purchase in the Indian market
This is a truly iconic motorcycle.
But speaking of iconic, it brings us to our first story on the show.
One of the most iconic SUVs on our roads right now is the Hyundai Creta.
It's going to become bigger very soon.
and more expensive, so in the meantime
Hyundai is releasing the Bayon,
I took it for a drive in Goa, and this is how it went.
The Creta is set for an upgrade, and once that upgrade arrives,
Hyundai is already saying that not only
Is it going to become bigger than it was before?
but it's also going to become more premium,
which means more expensive
and as a result there is now space for not just one,
but two SUVs in the segment.
So, what is the solution to this?
Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is the Hyundai Bayon.
I want to start with the design of the car; let's begin with the front.
This is the new phase of the SUV.
What I like right away in this segment is that there is no connection.
Light design over here, lower half of the car, here everything
is blurred, revealing various shades
being used here in the bumper
or here you get a large housing for the ADAS module now this has
Level 2 Pro ADAS—we'll get to that in a bit.
but this is what the front-end design language looks like
like you have the light signature and the actual
Is this the headlamp cluster right here?
One which is a very interesting thing to me is that Hyundai
Beyoncé's base variant
LED projector headlamps
which is something that I quite like
Look at this kink right here.
this sturdy buttress
that the car has
is typical of Creta's signature
Same for this particular
There's a line over here as well, and I also really like the alloy wheel.
design on the car, I think it's quite unique. Last but
Not least, I quite like the blacked-out one.
housing over here in the out
side rearview mirror
where the indicator light is a
and of course
The car comes.
with functional roof rails as well
which helps give it a bit of height
and that helps with road presence
When you are talking about the rear design, you can see here that you do not
get a connected light element
which is something that I quite like
I particularly like the design element of having
A brake light mounted on top of the spoiler.
I think that looks quite unique.
Last but not least, let's talk about boot space.
This cavity here,
You will open the boot space from here, and the camera is also housed right here.
but if I open the trunk lid, which is the trunk lid of this car,
It is manual, not automatic.
This car has a wheelbase of 2600 mm.
We'll find out just how much space it opens up inside.
the cabin and second,
205 mm of ground clearance is what you get on this car
which is again a very positive thing
Now let's talk about the interiors.
And I think this is why you'd want to consider this car.
First of all, I love how
This cabin brings it all together—everything feels high quality, well put together.
Together, everything feels like it hasn't been built.
a significant cost-related talking point about the interior
It has to be this center console over here.
That's where the HVAC buttons are located, and they're very ergonomic.
Easy to reach, and I think they're very good.
Everything placed out is well within reach.
One thing that I really liked
So, for the fan speed, one
physical dial Here below Hyundai has provided
Another noteworthy feature is the wireless charging pad.
Here we can see 2 USB-C ports
You can also spot 2 cup holders.
Okay, the underarm storage is also visible here for us to see.
And yes, the car also has cool seats for the front passenger.
You get other things like a dashcam in the top end variant
The Beyoncé along with Blue Link Connectivity System
What you can see here on your inside rearview mirror.
It's a very large screen, a curved screen panel, this properly fits the car
It has a futuristic feel, and I really like its touch response.
Let's discuss this as well. This also applies to All Digital Instrument Clusters.
It is fully digital; you can go to the screen and choose from three layout types: Simple, Modern,
You can also select Classic, and along with that, this car features drive modes.
You can also see Eco, Normal, or Sport driving modes in this car.
You will see plenty of theme options.
which is something that I quite like
You also get a large panoramic sunroof on top.
if that's something you're into
Very comfortable ergonomics,
You can easily adjust everything for yourself.
The driver's side seat is electrically adjustable.
The passenger side seat is manually adjustable.
And along with it, the steering wheel also reaches and
You can adjust the height for both in the cabin.
Let's talk about the rear seats; I have a fold-down armrest over here.
With a couple of cup holders, I get two headrests at the back.
Three headrests are not visible here.
I wish that weren't the case, there's also a rear AC vent here at the back.
And also has a USB Type C port.
And there's also a power socket here, and there's a flat spot up top as well where
But you can keep your phone if you wish, just in one sleeve.
My height is 5 feet 10 inches; I've adjusted the driver's seat according to my height.
You can see I have a decent amount of knee room on offer
The under-thigh support is also decent; I wouldn't say it's anything outstanding.
and I do find myself sitting a little bit higher up so the visibility
It's actually very good out in the front.
if you're someone over six feet tall
Well, this is going to be a tight fit for you and
This is where the car's height also becomes apparent.
It's not a very tall car, and you're seated.
a little higher up at the back
So headroom is at a premium, as is legroom.
It's not a problem; the cabin is decently wide as well.
Can have three people sit side by side over here
but it will feel like a slight tightness
Well, now let's talk about the driving experience.
of the Hyundai Beyond first thing first
Let's get the numbers out of the way—what do you have?
The only engine option available on this car is a 1.5.
liter MPI petrol engine it's
A four-cylinder engine, naturally aspirated, produces 115 ps of power.
and 143.8 newton meters of torque, now this engine can
be had with either a six-speed manual
transmission or an IVT transmission, which is Hyundai's terminology
for their CVT gearbox and we're driving the same engine
with the automatic transmission option today
and the first question I want to address about this drivetrain
Is this enough, and I'm happy to report that it actually is.
You see, I'm driving on the narrow roads of Goa.
in everyday driving conditions per se, city traffic
In all of these conditions, I don't really
I feel like I should have a 160 PS turbocharged engine
dual-clutch gearbox drivetrain—sure, it would be good to have
but it's not something I feel is necessary
under everyday driving conditions, the engine
Honestly, it's okay—gets the job done.
but it's the transmission that I want to talk about—this car comes with
with the IVT gearbox which
is a continuously variable transmission setup that this car comes with if I
would press the accelerator, I think you'd
be able to hear this through the camera—this is how loud it is
Everything gets inside the cabin. What's fantastic, though, is
and what I think is the highlight of the driving
Press this right quality set up passion inside
the setup is actually quite impressive and it will take
Smooth roads will not leave you wanting for more
They are not here
are of quality
This car is really very
Doing well
Honda A Banyan Very Sensible Car You Really Have To Go Visit The Dealership To
Get a better understanding of this car to get a feel for how everything is put together
is put together
The high-quality interiors, I think, are a major attraction.
You really have to check out this car the old-fashioned way.
Yes, it's not a brochure champion, but I think this is still a very, very sensible car.
Let's see how the market responds; as of now, I'm quite impressed.
Now let's move on to the next story; the time has come to talk.
You've seen the Ducati Monster, haven't you?
But the home ground of this Italian motorcycle is in Italy.
We had just gone there to catch hold of an Indian motorcycle,
I'm talking about the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750, I got up close.
and personal about it, I can't tell you how it feels to ride,
but I can tell you everything about it in this episode,
So let's get to it right away.
So it has finally happened, we've been asking Royal Enfield
to come out with the twin-cylinder Himalayan forever
And as you can see, that has now become a reality.
It's the bonus, though, because it's
not a 650 Himalayan that has broken cover,
It's this, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750.
In this video, we'll tell you everything you need to know about it.
but before we get into the nitty-gritty
of this brand new motorcycle, let's understand first
where the Himalayan 750 sits
The Himalayan range now begins with the Himalayan 440
which looks like the Himalayan 411, the OG motorcycle
but with the 440 cc engine that is the
entry to the Himalayan range, then we've got the Himalayan 450
which is the natural step up
and a proper new-generation Himalayan that you can purchase
Now, however, there is going to be a new Himalayan,
Which one is this, right here?
which is going to be the flagship offering in their lineup,
And as you already know, this is going to be the Himalayan 750.
Now, let's understand this motorcycle bit by bit,
Let's start with the design.
First, let's start with the wheels of this motorcycle,
You will see a 19-inch wheel at the front of this motorcycle.
And a 17-inch wheel can be seen from behind.
What you see here is a spoke wheel setup.
If you have the original
Himalayan 411 will be remembered here
For side pannier mounting
It used to be an element like a grill.
The shape of that element,
The form factor of that element is retained here.
In the form of this fearful late we see over here
Yes, one thing is certain, here ahead we do not see any bee.
Therefore, he has gone into a global pandemic.
Himalayan 750
If you're having trouble subscribing
We should write
has been something that has left us
be it the Himalayan 450 or any of the 650cc motorcycles available
We've wanted more illumination from the headlamp.
It looks like Royal Enfield has taken the feedback into account.
And they have now released a new generation headlight
which is making its debut on the Himalayan 750
If I put my hand here, I would see a lever.
So that I can adjust the angle of this headlight
coming to the middle of the motorcycle
well, what you can see is that you have
a very narrow waist of the motorcycle
so if you were to look at it from the top
You will look at this very cross section
Whatever you take, you will keep.
You are a motorcycle horn.
And due to the effect of the cause, you will suffer later.
Now
I know what a lot of people might think immediately
that this is simply a bored-out 650 twin engine
that Royal Enfield has been producing for a very long time
But that is nothing short of the opposite of the truth.
Royal Enfield says that this engine of yours
Looking at the Himalayan 750, this is 90% all new
The 10% that are similar in this engine to the 650 twin
chains, fasteners, seals, and so on and so forth.
It has a displacement of 743 cc and produces approximately 55 PS of power.
And it increases by 63 mutan meters above your address.
Last but not least, let's talk about the exhaust.
It's an upswung exhaust as always.
It is also quite compact. Let's talk about the cockpit.
of the motorcycle as you can see, you continue to get
around all digital instrument clusters
on display over here as well, just like the Himalayan 450
although there have been quite a few changes under
the hood to improve its usability
Let's talk about the windscreen, the new wind deflector
We can see this motorcycle, and this one
It is also adjustable, so if you sit on the motorcycle, you will find it here
Press this handle; as soon as you press it, it will go down below.
You can do this above, or you can also adjust it in the middle.
If you wish to do so, last but not least,
Let's talk about switch clusters—they've also been updated.
But we still need the same rotary-style pass switch for this motorcycle.
I can see that the joystick has been updated.
this comes in a different shape than before, and even
The buttons have been rearranged; you now have cruise control buttons.
on the right switch cluster, as well as the mode button
So there you have it. This is all you need to know about.
the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 right here from
Wonderful Sicily in Italy, very near to Mount Etna.
Here is where we're bringing you this story from
Everything about the motorcycle has been revealed except for the price.
The price of this motorcycle is expected to be announced.
at the Royal Enfield Motorverse event later in November.
So make sure you stay tuned to Times Drive to find out the price.
With that, it's time for a short break on the Times Drive Show, but stay with us.
because once we're back we'll take
for a ride on yet another motorcycle
And that's the Bajaj Pulsar N250 SS, welcome back
Welcome back, I'm Manav Sina, you're watching
The Times Drive Show and today with us is the Ducati Monster
Now this is one of the most aggressive, most performance-oriented
street naked motorcycles you can buy in the country
However, if you wanted a package similar to this in the 250cc class,
Well, Bajaj has yet another new Pulsar lineup for you guys.
It's called the Pulsar N250 SS.
And Dhruv is taking it out for a ride next.
The Pulsar motorcycle lineup is generally known for its sporty character.
and sporty how well in minimum value
sportiness with maximum performance and in
2026 it has become the N250 SS, so let's
Start with the design first and honestly
Nothing has changed; the motorcycle still looks the same.
As it first appeared, but let's revisit and actually
I think this is a well-designed motorcycle, especially
In this striking red color, Start in
Let's talk, ahead, well, it's an aggressive front end
You can get LEDs here, quite aggressively
front fascia is channelled, it looks quite
sporty, talking about the tank over here, you've got those regular
Pulsar shrouds over here, quite a bit, well
We have seen it many times already.
The tank has a clean design, with not too many lines running across it.
but it has a muscular appeal to it
Let's move toward the seat again, once again.
This area kind of narrows over here, but
then widens out, giving the rear end
some meat, some substance to it
Last but not least, least come back and again,
Behind, that typical pulsar's tail lamp, twin, lights,
Even from afar, you'll recognize it when the brakes are applied; now let's talk.
Its powertrain, the 249cc engine that came before
It has become a 4-valve engine, which means
Well, you've got a bit more power now, first
24.5 PS was there, now that's been increased
up to 25 PS, and first
the torque that was
21.5 Nm, increasing
Now it's 22 Nm.
now last but not the least, and this one
It's a big change, previously mechanical
The throttle body came, now that throttle body
It has become electronic, and obviously, you know
What does that mean, this bike now?
comes with ride modes, here they come
on feature updates, and like
You must have seen many pulsars this year.
There is a new 5-inch TFT display right here
Basically, the old setup didn't have that much functionality.
Now you get a colorful display with many menus inside it
which you can browse through your trip
You can connect your Bluetooth device to this.
Google Maps pairs up.
basically, you can mirror your phone on Google Maps right here
You can also turn on the quick shifter and the traction control.
Those settings can now be controlled very easily.
through the TFT on board over here
Talk at the same time
You now have adjustable levers on the N250SS.
At the same time, here you can see the switch for the hazard lights.
We do it with the engine, well, I think this is a really nice engine
The 250cc engine has plenty of torque low down.
and in the mid range, so you don't really need to rev it out
that makes the motorcycle quite easy to handle in traffic conditions
and most of the time
When you need the torque, it's just a small twist of your wrist away.
Now there's a quick shifter.
On the motorcycle, it's called Sport Shift over here.
When you ride a motorcycle well in India
The quick shifter works quite well at that time.
Now let's talk about ride modes.
Because it has an electronic throttle body
Ride mode has also arrived in the bike now.
and the Sport mode here is tuned for immediate, crisp throttle response
The mind is for touring and sports, but your major work is mostly elsewhere.
It will go to the previously available DOHC version of this engine.
Minute Abbott received Rs 1.45 lakh, this one is one point.
59 lakh rupees, so about 14 to 15,000 rupees here
An increment has been observed.
For all that money, you're getting 2 extra valves.
You're getting a whole new set of features.
There is a TFT display on board.
and general refinement has also improved
