With Edu Gasper in talks with a player's agent and the departure of Nicole Pepe opening up a space, today
we'll get the latest and greatest from Fabrizio Romano.
Do Arsenal also have their eyes on Crystal Palace's Wilfrid Zaha? Is Ainsley Maitland-Miles on his way out?
And what's going on with Lucas Pequeta?
Yo, what is going on guys? My name is Bas14 and welcome back to your boy's channel.

But starting off with the latest on Arsenal's search for a brand new winger. As said by David Owenstein,
it was believed that Arsenal's chances of recruiting a new winger this summer rested on Nicole Pepe
departing. And in terms of their departure,
we have reached an agreement. As Fabrizio Romano says, Pepe to OGC Nice,
verbal agreement completed with Arsenal in the afternoon and the main part of the salary is to be covered by the French club.
The documents are prepared soon and it's a loan deal with no buy option.
That final part is a bit of a surprise because all of the reports were claiming that Arsenal were going to include a
15 to 20 million euro buy option in the contract.
The fact that it's not there indicates that both teams could not agree a fee and that means at the start of next season Pepe
will still be an Arsenal player unless, of course, someone else signs him. Fabrizio
also confirms that Pepe has reduced his salary in order to make the Nice move possible.
The medical test will take place in the next 24 hours on Thursday.
Pepe's priority was to return to France and that is so important to him that according to Nice Martin,
despite Leicester joining the race to sign Pepe on a loan deal and
offering to pay his salary in full, the player wanted to play in Ligue 1.
So Leicester made a last-minute offer, but the player rejected. That could have been very important,
especially considering Arsenal want to sign Uri Tielemans,
but instead the player's desire was to return to France and it's no surprise why.
This is a player that I think just wants to play regular first-team minutes and to enjoy his football.
He's a player that needs to have confidence,
so returning to Ligue 1 I think is the best possible step and despite there not being a buy option,
I do think this is the end of Pepe's Arsenal career.

In terms of signing a replacement for Nicola Pepe, Arsenal have many targets in mind.
But in terms of finances, they have to be very wary.
As Martin Ziegler of The Times reports,
Arsenal are among 20 European clubs on the UEFA's watchlist of teams who may be in danger of breaching financial fair play.
Arsenal have had among the highest losses in the Premier League over the past three years, a total of £213 million.
But in the past two to three seasons, Arsenal have been spending money, the owners have been investing.
And during that time, Arsenal haven't made any massive player sales or of course also entered the Champions League.
But in the same report it claims, Arsenal insiders insist they are and will be compliant with UEFA's rules and have received no warning from the European governing body.
UEFA have declined to comment, but it is believed it will initiate discussions with any clubs perceived to be at risk.
So Arsenal believe they have done nothing wrong.
And even according to Daniel Cutts, he says no worries with Arsenal and any financial fair play breaches.
It was looked at because Arsenal were spending money and quickly dismissed by UEFA.
They are dealing within their means and can still spend lots more money this summer if they want.
With the amount of ticket sales from the Emirates Stadium, the amount of player shirt sales and the many Arsenal sponsorship deals of Adidas or Fly Emirates.
And in general, the international size of Arsenal Football Club is what makes us so gargantuan, not just on the field, but also off the field and financially.
So in terms of any transfers and the finances, let's just say we have the facilities to make things happen.
And the main target of course is Wolves' Pedro Neto.
When the Wolves' manager Bruno Large was asked about Arsenal's interest, he says I heard about that, but nothing has come to us.
It's normal to have this interest, but no one has told me nothing about any proposals, so I cannot confirm nothing.
There's no indication the player isn't available.
With just 8 days left on the transfer window, he could have very easily said, Pedro Neto is our player and he is not for sale.
And the latest from Fabrizio Romano is that Pedro Neto is very keen on joining Arsenal, but he is not pushing.
Wolves will ask for more than £50 million.
Edu has been exploring this deal for many weeks, so it's confirmed there and there that Pedro Neto wants to sign for Arsenal.
But as Fabrizio says he will not push for a transfer, and that's very important, because if Arsenal were looking for the strategy to use Neto to force Wolves' hands, that's not going to happen.
But as Fabrizio says, Mekawa Teta is a big fan of the player, and Edu has been working on a transfer for a very long time.
The other targets include Moussa Diaby, but he is considered unsellable, and Jeremy Pino, but no direct negotiations as of yet.
Moussa Diaby and Jeremy Pino are some very good alternative transfers, but the focus is firmly on Pedro Neto, and that is because of Mekawa Teta.
He's a massive fan of the player, and there's no secret behind that.
Over the years at Arsenal, with the prime examples being Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, Mekawa Teta has once again proven his ability to coach wingers to a very high standard.
So when you have a player that has the fundamental ability of Pedro Neto, a very explosive player with a very good mentality, it's very important to note that he is left footed.
So maybe this might be a case of Teta transforming Neto from a left winger to a right winger, very similar to how he has done with Bukayo Saka.
So far, all of the negotiations that Arsenal have had have come through Jorge Mendes, and the reason that Edu is doing that is because he understands the whole reason why Jorge Mendes brings these top Portuguese players to Wolves in the first place.
And in terms of Neto and Arsenal, it's worth pointing out, this has been a long time coming.
In fact, back in 2017, Arsenal had a reported 15 million euro bid rejected by his club Braga for a 17 year old Neto, over 5 years in the making when our manager was still Arsene Wenger.
Arsenal have always appreciated Pedro Neto, and now under Teta, they see him as the perfect player to come into the club for the short term, the medium term and the long term.
The next step for Arsenal is to open official negotiations with Wolves, as right now all the contacts are going through a intermediary.
According to Dean Jones on a football terrace, he says the likes of Neto and Jeremy Pino are not the only two names that Arsenal are looking at, in the background, there's Wilfred Zaha.
That deal is not moving forward at the moment, but Zaha is definitely one of those who ticks those boxes.
Wilfred Zaha is a player that is entering the final year of his Crystal Palace contract, and in the past few weeks, the likes of Fabrizio Romano have confirmed he could be available for £25-30 million.
Now that's a price tag that Arsenal could afford, and Zaha is a player that Arsenal have had definite interest in in the past, especially under Unai Emery.
He's a player with a vast amount of Premier League experience, and so far this year has scored 3 goals in 3 games, and last season had 15 goals in all competitions.
And if you're going to sign him as a squad depth player, he could be fantastic, but at the same time, entering the final 8 days of this transfer window.
Do I honestly believe that Crystal Palace will want to sell their key assets? I'm not quite sure.
And at the same time, turning 30 in November, even though he matches up the playing profile that Arsenal are looking for, in terms of the age profile, I'm not quite sure.
Moving on to the latest in midfield, and let's start off with a potential departure of Fofty aka Ainsley Maitland-Nile.
As Fabrizio Romano says that Southampton are pushing the sign Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Talks are now in progress with Arsenal on a loan for the buy option, as his current Arsenal deal also includes an option to extend until 2024.
And Southampton are insisting to beat the competition of 2 more clubs.
Even though Maitland-Niles is in the final year of his Arsenal contract, as Fabrizio points out,
Arsenal have this automatic option to extend his contract by 1 year.
Meaning that Arsenal would be able to make it a 2 year contract and that would give us a massive hand in negotiations.
With there also being a fair amount of clubs that want to sign him, with a bit of decent negotiations,
Arsenal can very easily go to Southampton and ask for a decent amount of money.
But let's talk Lucas Paqueta.
According to Reese Simplicio of Go Brazil, Arsenal have showed interest in Paqueta and even talked to Leon at the beginning of the window.
But ruled out formalising a proposal in the business model suggested by the French club.
The Gunners are still following the movement without any new initiative so far.
Edu Gasper has already confirmed that he is a massive fan of the player.
And Arsenal have initiated contact with Leon, but as a report confirms there,
they weren't left too impressed by the amount of money that Leon wanted.
And now enter the scene West Ham United.
As David Ornstein confirms that West Ham are working on a deal to sign Lucas Paqueta from Leon.
A bid worth €40 million has been made.
And even though no agreement, talks are advancing over a fee and personal terms for the 24 year old Brazil international midfielder.
So West Ham want to sign Lucas Paqueta and have put forward a very decent offer.
But even though talks are advancing, according to Le Keep,
Leon have rejected a bid worth €50 million including bonuses for the player.
And that the French club want €60 million.
With that sort of price tag kept in mind and the other players available on the transfer market,
I just don't see Arsenal making any sort of offers with that sort of money for Lucas Paqueta.
And maybe instead they make a bid for Uri Tielemans.
As Ben Jacobs said it's now a top priority for Leicester to sell Uri Tielemans.
Because they want the money and it's just where the Arsenal are going to pull the trigger.
So it's got to the stage of the market where Leicester now actively are looking to sell Tielemans.
Not just because they need the money, more importantly they need time.
If they are going to sign a replacement, they need to sell Tielemans as soon as possible.
Ben Jacobs also says that Arsenal would prefer to pay £23-25 million.
With Leicester wanting £30-32 million.
That is a sort of gap in valuation.
Arsenal are in no rush and the longer they leave it now, the more they drive the price down.
This is why Arsenal have refused to make an offer so far.
They want to get the price down as much as they possibly can.
Because they understand they have all the power in negotiations.
The player doesn't want to stay at Leicester, he won't extend his contract.
He's made it clear that his priority is to move to Arsenal.
And it looks like the plan is working.
According to a reliable source in Belgium,
it's expected that Leicester will drop their price tag for Tielemans to make a transfer possible.
Arsenal are most interested and the player is calm as he knows he's in a strong position to get a move.
Right now the likes of Xhaka are performing and with the likes of Fabio Vieira,
Smith Rowe and the bench, there's no urgent need to sign Tielemans.
But as we enter the final week, we also enter the finale of the Tielemans transfer saga.
And is he going to be an Arsenal player and is the master plan of reducing the price tag going to work?
These next few days are going to be decisive.
Moving on to the other Arsenal news today.
And starting off with a draw for the Carabao Cup.
As Arsenal have drawn Brighton at home in the third round.
It's not going to be an easy game and Brighton have had a very good start to the season.
But with that being a cup game,
it might be the perfect opportunity for Arsenal to give a first start to Fabio Vieira.
And give minutes to other players like Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah.
At the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal are the firm favourites.
And this year in the Carabao Cup, it's something that personally I want to win.
Hull City have announced the official signing of Arsenal youngster Salah Adin
on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
Now that final part is a massive surprise.
Because Salah Adin was one of Arsenal's most exciting youngsters.
The fact that Arsenal have given Hull the option to buy the player.
Indicates they don't see the player as in the long-term plans of Arsenal Football Club.
Let's now talk about ex-Arsenal captain and player Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
As according to Gerald Romero, Aubameyang is set to complete a transfer to Chelsea.
The price tag is 15 to 20 million pounds.
And even though Arsenal are not involved in a transfer.
Having an ex-Arsenal captain go to Chelsea is of course very controversial.
Even though it wasn't the best ending.
I loved Aubameyang during his time at the Emirates Stadium.
He scored so so many goals and gave me so so many good memories.
I'm not sure how this affects his legacy.
Because if he goes to Chelsea and flops there.
Then maybe Arsenal fans won't care.
But if he goes to Chelsea and he scores goals for fun and helps them improve.
Then maybe Arsenal fans will have some different opinions.
So let's have a discussion down below in the comments.
What are your honest thoughts on Aubameyang going to Chelsea?
But that is the video there and there.
So hopefully you guys have enjoyed.

But that was today's episode of the Transfers FC.
And as we enter the final days of the window.
Do Arsenal have a few more signings up their sleeves?
They're gonna have to wait and see.
But until then take care of yourselves.
