WE TRY McDonalds ITALY - TOP 10

And we made it to McDonald's in Italy, the Holy Land, home of the stuffed croissant. Owned and operated by young adults, they got everything from the Egg McMuffin that no one buys to exclusive Italian limited time specials. JP and Julia decide to explore this McDonald's and awkwardly take video of random people's food. Oh, look at those fries. Oh, a Big Mac. Hold it. Hold it. Wow. Are you, like, posing for me? The McVeggie. Ooh. Kinda looks like any other sandwich. Kinda looks like eggplant parm. Do you think that's eggplant? Zucchini. I don't know what it is. I feel good about myself right now. Ooh. I told you there's a lot of mayonnaise. That's a sloppy bite. What do you think? I'm trying to understand what this patty is. It's not a piece of eggplant. It's definitely some type of vegetables. Looks like they put peppers in there. There's beans. Beans? I freaking love it. Actually, it's really tasty. Smash or pass, JP? Smash. I think I would smash this all day. The next item. The tasty basket. Wow, look at this. What is this, KFC? I think this came with little sauce packets on the side. Oh my goodness. Smell this. Can I just bring up something, guys? That's not a basket. That's a bucket. All of these sauces they call salsas, but maybe it's salsa in Italian means sauce? Yes. This is so much chicken. So in here we've got chicken wings. I had to sniff it. I'm sorry. Is this chicken? These are called chicken McBites. It's a little spongy. It reminds me of like popcorn chicken though. I like it. I found a boot at the bottom of this basket. I am the biggest fan of the boot. I'm not going to lie. Play the video when I made a giant boot. Okay, we're back. Do the chicken nuggets at McDonald's taste the same in other countries? The same. Yeah. Exactly. I've never had a chicken wing at McDonald's before though. I want to try this first. I'm just happy that you did find a boot at the bottom of the basket. That's beautiful. I am the wingette. Julia's the drumette. You got a feather stuck to your little manicured nail there. Maybe we need napkins. Thank you. It's not bad. It's not bad. It tastes like chicken. It's better than Domino's. Uh-huh. Smash. I think our palate is actually growing by trying this food. The Tasty Basket in general, total smash. You're getting a crazy deal for all this food. And if you're a vegan, just don't order this. Yeah, don't order it. What is that? Parmigiano. Parmesan. Parmigiano snack. So this normally comes in a kid's meal, right? Yeah. Okay. Oh, yes. It's a block of cheese. Here, you open it. I'm just excited. I like cheese. Whoa. It tastes like parmesan, guys. I think you should come with a little microplane. You just have a little nugget underneath it. A little bit of marinara sauce. Guys, I'm going to say pass just because this is just too weird. Yeah. You know, it's not really an entree. I'm going to pass it. These are cheese fries, I think. Ready? Ooh. Oh. Whoa. Damn. These are the hot fries. I think it's a hot cheese sauce. I don't know, though. They're a little limp and not as hot anymore. I think the ones underneath are still going to have some rigidity to them and structural integrity based on the sauce not over-saturating the french fry. Are you going to start sweating? It's not that spicy, but it does have a spice to it. It kind of reminds me of nacho cheese sauce that you get at the movie theater. It's nacho cheese sauce. Oh, my God. You are breaking a sweat. You're sweating. I'm going to say pass. It's not my thing. Pass. Yeah. Open. As you can tell, guys, the camera got better because we're opening up a Big Mac, and you guys need to see this in HD. So, this is just like any other Big Mac, right? I don't see any dehydrated minced onions on this guy. Did you just miss it, or it's not there? I don't see any. Not as much flavor. The lettuce is overwhelming. Mac sauce not potent enough. Missing those dehydrated onions. It's kind of a dry sandwich. Yeah. The one thing I would say is I think that the bread or the bun is better. It seems like it holds up better. Really? Yeah. It's just my own... I don't know, though, because the Big Mac is not something I really ever order. Sometimes you just got to bite a piece of meat and think about what you've done. I'm going to be a pass on the Big Mac. I am a pass on the Big Mac. Oh, my goodness. Gluten-free. What? Oh, they have to do that. You know why? Because of allergies. It feels weird in my hand. There's no veggies on it. It looks like a cheesy mess, guys. It got all over my hands. You know when you go into a vending machine in the U.S. and they got burgers chilling in there? It reminds you of those. And you just pop them in the microwave for a little bit. But the fact that McDonald's has this option, I respect that. Yeah, it's really nice. If you can't have gluten, it really just has to do with the bun. It might look bad. It might be a mess, but how does it taste? The texture is straight up like eating a sponge. Let me try this. I love sponges. I'm not going to lie. It's juicier than the Big Mac. Maybe it's because it's steamed in some way. Do you get that kind of like the sponginess of the dough? Yeah, like it kind of bounces back. So, guys, you basically got a double cheeseburger with a I don't need to be gluten-free, so I would not choose to do it. If I was gluten-free and this was my only option. You had like lettuce, tomato on it. Exactly. As for that stuff on the side, or order it with a salad and then just put the entire salad on it. Yeah. Or just eat a salad. All right. Gluten-free. The way to be if you have to. McToast! Whoa! It looks like it's served in the same type of bag as a hash brown. Slide it out. What? Is this a pancake? This is a squished bun. Yeah. Oh, my God. It's a squished bun. They flip it. And they put cheese in it? Ham and cheese. I think I'm going to like this one. It's like a Hot Pocket. Tastes like a Hot Pocket. If they just threw like a folded egg on the inside of this, this would be my new go-to breakfast. And when you're done and you're mad at someone, you can frisbee it at them and smack them in the face. So that's a total smash all day. Bring the McToasty to America, McDonald's. Smash. Do we know what it's called? The country. We'll just call it the country chicken thing. Country chicken sandwich. Oh, this is a limited time item. I don't know why we got it just because it's something new. This piece of chicken looks like a real chicken. And it looks like it's a different type of sauce on here, too. It's not the mayonnaise. The country sauce. Wow, that was quite a ferocious bite you had there. Almost kind of scared me with that. Copying me? It really just tastes like bacon to me, and I haven't had bacon in a while. And I'm like, bacon. It's basically a grilled chicken club without the tomatoes. And the sauce is actually pretty good. But I'm going to have to pass on this. I just, I wouldn't go to McDonald's for this. Yeah, I would get this chicken sandwich before the Big Mac, though, any day. The next spicy burger. Oh, no. Oh, no. The sauce. Did you save it? I didn't. See, now throwing it actually unwraps it, so it's easier to eat. This looks exactly like a cheeseburger, but they put some jalapenos on it. Oh, and it's, it's the spicy cheese sauce that was on the french fries. Very simple. You got your cheese, you got your jalapenos. But if you like spicy, get this with the spicy french fries. I don't think that they go together. They actually have this in the U.S. for a limited time, so it's kind of cool that they brought that back. I didn't know that. Yeah, I mean, go to McDonald's. Yeah, that was a spicy jalapeno. It's spicy. Let's make JP sweat, guys. I also want to make this incredibly unhealthy, so. Julia, this is disgusting. Eat it. Let's make you sweat. Eat the entire thing. Is it really hot? Yeah, do you think that was a good idea or a bad idea? A bad idea. I'm gonna go with a pass on this. Here, will you just eat this pepper? Apple juice. Oh, look, we got the blue one. Aw, they gave us a girl's toy. What would be the option for a boy? Probably something better. That frightened me. Okay. That's just creepy. Ew, I love her. Is this gonna just sit here? So, this is just the traditional meal. You can try a carrot. Eat your vegetables, folks. JP's used to eating this off the dollar menu. No onions. No onion. No way. No onion. We already tried the Big Mac, which might have the same beef patty on it, but give it a taste. The kid cheeseburger doesn't have mustard or onions on it. Italy, you got it right with the McToasty. The McVeggie and that bucket of chicken. That's so good. But it's not a bucket. They call it a basket. This is a basket, McDonald's. This is a bucket.
