Google Pixel Unboxing

Hey guys, so this week I got sent the Pixel, which is a new phone being released by Google. This is the XL edition, which is 5.5 inches. This is the 32 gigabyte version, but it does come with bigger storage options. I'm going to get straight into it. Opening that up. Yep, nothing in there. Get a little sticker, and then we open it up like a book. There's the phone itself. Peel it out here. Feels pretty good. Feels kind of weighty. Got the thumbprint thing on the back. Camera up here, flash. And then we've got a little booklet here. Let's go. Open that up. Oh, got a little SIM card pin, loose little sheets. The warranty, that's very important. A few kind of little instructions on what's in the box, how to insert your SIM card. What have we got here? We've got a wire. This is the USB-C cable, I believe, for charging. Got another little thing here, a little doohickey. It's a USB adapter, so you can turn regular USB lead into one that'll work with the phone. I'm going to go ahead and open up this little secret compartment here. Small connector on both sides, on both ends. And the wall adapter here. I'm in the UK, so this is the 3-pin. Carefully just peel this off here. See very shiny, glossy screen on the front. Gloss area on the back. Very understated little G logo there. So I've been hearing a lot about the features of this phone. I know Google are pushing the Google Assistant quite heavily. Here it's got a good camera. There's one feature I'm particularly interested in. I've seen a lot of the big tech blogs refer to it as the hotline to Hades. This is of course the new Google feature that allows you to call friends and family who are deceased, who are no longer living. So I'm going to go ahead and set up the phone and insert a SIM card and see if it works as well as they say it does. Okay Google, call my grandmother. Grammy? Hello, I've been waiting for you. Yeah?
