13.000 ₺LİK ŞİŞME MONTU 20 ₺YE DİKTİM _ DIY PUFFER COAT _ Damla Toral.
I'm with you all today on an idea that's once again very exciting for me
I will share the making of the puffy coat I'm wearing
But this coat's fabric is not ready-made captain's fabric
I made this myself
I will share with you how I did this in the video
These kinds of gray metallic jackets are everywhere right now
There is 200 lira there is 600 lira there is 13 000 lira
I was shocked when I saw it was 13 000 pounds
I was amazed
Actually I saw this video and I was thinking of preparing a series under this one
Honestly since the models didn't really appeal to me I wanted to do it my own way
This is not a specific model that I want to show in this video
Because it's just a simple coat
I just want to show you how we can do this here
Of course the purpose of the video's title is to be a bit more attention-grabbing
Whether it's about how much I trust
I bought a piece of gray silver fabric for 5 liras
I bought it from Ümraniye Istanbul
I got them from the market
If you go there are nice things
I bought the fabric inside for 3 liras per meter
I used 1.5 meters I also
bought that for 4.5 liras
I used a zipper like this I also got this from Ümraniye
I bought it for 1 TL
Then I also bought the inner lining from these
fancy fabrics and I bought the fabric for 8 liras
He was already one meter tall because he had one hand
How much did it make 18.5
I did it just to keep it clean
I sewed up the seams here
I don't know exactly how much I used but it was around 2.5 lira
I rounded it up to 2.5 lira and got a coat for 20 TL
Now you'll say did it become like a regular
inflatable mount Yes but a bit firmer
The reason is the stiffness of my fabrics I
think the fibers inside are the same as mine
I think they also use it
Of course this ultra-light stuff is not from them
I am getting a regular injection
I am quite satisfied with the results
If you try it too don't forget to send me the photos
Now we can move on to how it's done

Take good care of yourself
Let's start by counting the materials
I have a piece of fabric that I use for a shirt lining up to 1.5 meters
I used to buy it for 3 liras per meter
This is a normal cotton fabric
You can also use something called a slippery flannel lining inside
I have a gray shiny fabric that is up to 1.5 meters
I bought
this from Ümraniye I already mentioned that at the beginning of the video
I will use another 2-3 meters of tubing
Since I had it on hand I just wanted to clean the inside
I didn't take it from the side
I took the fiber used in these 3
-meter-long rugs or in baby cribs
You can easily find these feathers in craft stores novelty shops or hobby stores
This will be enough for 1 meter
First I will start by cutting out the lining fabric
I fold my fabric twice and then fold it again twice
I am folding my pajamas in half and placing them in the compartment of my suitcase
I am cutting the fabric from the seams of my pajamas
If you are just starting out it is useful to sketch
As you can see I obtained two rear parts
I then take one and slightly shave the neck area
I'm deepening the cut a bit more by eye
I'm dividing it into two from the waist
You can usually leave some space for the zipper here
But since I'm making it with lining the space for the zipper will be very small
I am
ignoring him But of course that's not really the right thing to do
Now I will cut my arms
Again I fold my fabric four times
I am placing my arm in the position of the other arm
In this way after cutting my finger pieces from
the seams I cut the piece and shave one side
I'm inserting a pin
This will align with the front piece
I have marked it to avoid mixing
Now I am placing all these pieces on the handmade one
I hand-cut these pieces in the same way
As you can see I cut all my parts by hand
I didn't want the zipper to be handmade
I cut off about half a centimeter from the side of my pieces
I cut pieces from my gray fabric as I had planned
But there is one thing we must not forget
I cut my dress a bit longer according to the lining and the body shape
I'm extending the bottom part of the
front and back pieces by 4-5 centimeters
I also extend the ends of the sleeves by 4-5 centimeters
This way I can roll up the gray piece inward
The edges will also look more beautiful Now it's
time to assemble our pieces and create our tufting
First I place my lining piece so that the wrong side is facing me
Then I put my hand-sewn piece on top of it
I am placing my green fabric so that the face is looking at me on top of these
We will combine these three into a single piece of fabric
I'm pinning it in a few places to keep it from shifting
We will now sew the lines of thread here
But of course there are points we need to be careful about when sewing
The most important thing is definitely to draw straight lines
If we make crooked lines we will really get a very bad result
I will do it intervals of 10 minutes
I mark 10-centimeter intervals by holding my tape measure
I am marking to the right and left so that I can draw a straight line
Also since my fabrics were
very light- colored when I was drawing I used a pencil
If you work with a dark fabric you can also draw with regular soap
Then you don't need to wash it anymore
And now I will sew it with a straight stitch along the lines I just drew
I will show you this in more detail shortly
I just wanted to show you the logic now
I went around the entire edge with a zigzag stitch after making a straight stitch
Because my gray fabric was sewn with too much thread
Now I am stacking my finger parts in the
same way By the way I would like to remind you of this
The front of my patch and the front of my gray fabric will both face outward
We are not doing any padding here right now
We are turning them into a single piece of fabric
I'm stitching the column and marking the first seam on my back
I thought that would make them all aligned
Unfortunately it didn't work out that way
I mark my measurements again spaced ten centimeters apart
I am now connecting the points I marked in a straight line
Now I am inserting my needles perpendicular to these lines
The empty space behind the needle will be on top of my line
Then I can see the line and sew without taking out the needle
I am sewing with a straight stitch from the places I showed with my finger
I did not change my needle here
The size 14 needle did the job for me
But if your fabric is thick you can also use size 16
I sewed with my usual foot pedal
I had no problems
As you can see I am sewing with a straight stitch
You can easily see how I insert the needles here
After finishing all my lines I'm going around with a zigzag stitch
So I have now turned my arm into a leather upholstery
Now I am removing my needles
Then my arm was completely ready
This excess fabric in this gray material will exactly come in handy here
As you can see I will fold it last
Now it's time to make the front parts
First we will attach our zipper
I am placing my zipper on top of the patch this way
As you can see the teeth of my zipper are pointing inward
He is not looking outward
I am sewing these parts with a straight stitch
Then I place my gray piece on top of this piece upside down
I'm pinning them from the edges
Now after sewing this part when we turn it right side out the zipper will between the two pieces of fabric
As you can see I sewed it from the edge and because my gray fabric had a lot of threads I pulled it with a good stitch
As you can see when I reverse it and fold it my zipper looks very clean both inside and out
Only my teeth came through the two fabrics of my zipper
I re-sew them from these edges
I will sew it again with a straight stitch so that the fabric is pressed from the edges
It looks like this when I pull up my jeans
Now I'm taking one of my gray pieces and inserting my own move in between
As you can see we initially cut the end a bit too short
The importance of what we are doing becomes clear here
I'm holding on to a few places for the mayor
I then turn back and redraw and sew again making sure the seams are aligned with the back piece
I'm repeating the same things I did on the front and back pieces that's all
And so my front piece is now ready
I am placing the front pieces over the back piece's face And
I am stitching them together with a straight stitch along the shoulders
I closed my stitches with a needle so that it would look better and cleaner inside
And then I do it this way
I will place my arm on the remaining game piece
We are already doing these too much
I'm telling you without going into too much detail
I cleaned the seams with a needle after sewing my sleeves this way
Now I fold my coat by holding it from the shoulders
And I sew the side parts with the armpit
After the dictation as you can see again and again I cleaned it with a biye
As you can see we have actually completed most of the work by turning the mountain into a flat area
I'm pinning the bottom part of my dress
I stitch the excess part of this gray piece by folding it in two fingers
I sew with a straight stitch from the places where I have sewn the needles
I also fold my sleeves in the same way twice
I will sew this time by hand instead of using a machine
There is absolutely no possibility of the stitch being visible from the right side since it already contains fiber
I wanted to do it this way because I don't like too many stitches in the seams
You can sew it directly
You can insert the tabi into the machine
Now it's time to make the cap
I had preferred to save it for last because it slightly frightened my eyes
You can do it like that in a jacket without a collar
If you button your jacket now it will be completely ready
I have also shown this
I am measuring the circumference of the waist
I draw a length of about 3 cm shorter than the length I measured later across my fabric
I cut the caprice in a completely arbitrary way
I made an estimate here but you can also take the pattern from a sweater or something
As you can see it looks very short here but it will be completed since we are making three parts of the cap
I am measuring the head part of the piece I am working on that is this curved part with my measuring tape
I cut a 6 cm piece because we made it 3 cm shorter than appropriate
Don't forget to add the seam allowances
We always have 1 cm seam allowances
I then roll this piece into a ball pressing the faces together and pin it into place
I am pinning my other piece here in the same way
I will sew the straight stitches at the places I am pointing out with my finger
And when I turn it inside out our cap will be ready
I made a duplicate of this piece in both my fabric and the gray fabric
I will prepare my kappisohn by weaving these together
You may not put fiber into the kappisohn
Some inflatable mounts become completely empty
I will also make it lacey because I don't like the look
I am smoothing out my undergarment before placing the elytra
I then turn my gray piece over and insert my lining piece inside it
I then completely sew the mouth part
I will sew the other sides except where it will connect to the neck
I stitch and draw the thread through the points I'm indicating with my finger
I ended up with a clean stitch in the form of a buttonhole when I later turned it inside out and pushed it into itself
Now I will insert my fiber among them
I did not want to make my hood like this in pieces
It's not too difficult to sew because it's a small piece
I simply wanted the inside and outside of my collar to be perfectly clean
I needle it quite a lot so that it doesn't shift when I place it inside the quilt
I turn it over once I am sure it is not melting
I draw lines every ten centimeters on my underlayer again in the same way
It's very difficult to do this entirely in one piece but it works very well in small parts like a puzzle
I decided to only plant the side parts
I didn't touch the middle part at all it remained flat
I folded it again inside because I made the mouth part too large and sewed it that way
If the neck of your hoodie doesn't line up you can fold the bottom part of the opening to make it match
I then take my jacket and completely pin the hood to the collar
That's how I'll wear it right here
I stitch and pull the thread through the straight stitches at the places I'm pointing to
This is how it looks after sewing
Now I'm taking a piece of paper and placing it here directly in a straight line without folding it this time
Because there are too many stitches they are stacked on top of each other
I didn't want to bother my neck by adding Biyemi here honestly
I've decided to put a straight stitch on both sides for her
And after I sewed the lining this is how my jacket looks
After this you can decorate your jacket as you like add a pocket or do other things as well
