So today it is the turn of the Amazon Beauty advent calendar. So this one is extremely popular, Before I jump into this video, I'm almost at 150,000 subscribers. You must do these three things in order to enter. So the packaging this year is quite different to last year. So last year's, it was black with a bit of gold on it and this year it is white with very festive things on here. So you've got robins in Little Santa's hat, you've also got partridges, you've also got holly. I think this is quite sophisticated actually. So the contents inside are worth £195. So for £50, that's pretty good. Okay, door number one. By the way, I absolutely love the design of this calendar. It's very different. I love that they've gone for a unique method. It's almost like a, I want to say like an arcade machine. I don't know why it reminds me of an arcade machine, but it does. So in day number one, we've got an item that I have never seen before and this is by PAI and it's an Instant Calm Camellia and Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser. And it also comes with a little cloth as well, which I think is quite a nice touch. So this product is great for dry skin. It's also got rosiness, which is very calming on the skin. You just apply it onto your face and neck and then you wash off with the little cloth here. I love these muslin cloths. They're so gentle for the skin. Door number two. Oh, what's this? Okay, I love this item. So this is a Matte Me Ultra Smooth Matte Lip Cream and this is by Sleek Makeup. As you guys know, I really do love a sleek lip gloss. They are so good. They come off like a really nice matte finish and this one is in the colour Birthday Suit, which is like a nice rose colour and it's full-sized. Box number three. The detail on each box is very different as well, which is great, like something new every single day. Here we've got a John Frieda item. I remember John Frieda being in last year's advent calendar, but this time you've got the Frizz Ease Secret Agent Touch Up Cream. So this actually smooths flyaway hair. So what you need to do with this one, you start with dry hair and then you rub a small amount of cream into the palms of your hands and then you just pop through your hair and you don't have frizzy hair. Oh, it smells like a salon. I love when a salon smells like shampoo. So it smells like a salon. Box number four. In this door, we've got a James Reid product. So James Reid has been in quite a few advent calendars this year and this is the Gradual Tan Sleep Mask for the face. So this is a great product. Usually, fake tan like disappears from my face first. It's probably because I cleanse it twice a day. So this is actually like a really great idea to use if you want to keep on top of your tan. It smells quite good actually. Yeah, it's more of like a gel substance, but it doesn't smell like curry, which is a good thing. Sometimes just smell like curry, doesn't it? Box number five. Here, we've got a Max Factor Flash Lash Epic Mascara. So this is full size. Let's have a look at the head. Oh, that is so different. I have never used a brush like this or should I say a wand, but it's quite fat, but it does have like a narrow end, which I think will be quite great to get into the corners of the eye. Box number six. In door number six, we've got a Rouge Edition Velvet and it looks like a matte lip gloss and this is by Bourjois, Bourjois. I'm not very good at pronouncing. Bourjois, Bourjois. I think it's Bourjois. I have used a few products from this brand before and I really do like them. Now, this is in the colour Velvet, which is number 29. It is very similar to the Sleek colour that we got. It would have been nice to get maybe a different shade because it's very similar. Day number seven. I think it's eyelashes. Oh, it is. Okay, it's Eyelash Lashes. I absolutely adore Eyelash. I've actually got some Eyelash Lashes on right now and this is Exaggerate, which is number one, four, six. For me, Eyelash is one of the best eyelash brands ever. You can actually reuse them. So I get up to like four to five goes with a set of Eyelash Lashes because I actually do look after mine. But these are amazing. They're very feathery. I reckon they would suit most eyes actually. It's not too like thick, not too long. It's just like that nice party diva finish. Door number eight. So this is Love Beauty and Planet and it's a shower gel and it's a vegan product. So this is coconut oil and Lang Lang. Let's give it a smell. That smells like a lush shower gel. It smells super fresh. It smells like it's got like really nice oils in there. Box number nine. So in this door, we've got a Sally Hansen product. So this is called Gel Rehab. I absolutely love Sally Hansen products. She really does have like a really nice range of nail polishes. But most importantly, her repair range for the nails is just incredible. Probably one of the best on the market. So this is very different. This is an overnight renewal mask to help repair nails to pre-gel condition and you just wash off in the morning. It's full size as well. Door number 10. In this store, we've got a Super Stay Liner in the color black and it's by Wonder 2 High Tech Beauty. In my opinion, this is quite small. I reckon they could have probably put in a big one but I do like getting an eyeliner because I do use quite a few in the year. Box number 11. So in this store, we've got a Real Techniques brush and this is a Finnish medium sculpting brush. It's quite cute that it's mini. I've not actually owned a small mini Real Techniques brush. If you don't know who Real Techniques are, they are a makeup brush brand. Very great. You can get them in boots. I think they're quite like a really nice high street makeup brush to get. But yeah, I'm quite happy to see that. Day number 12. So here we've got a Bure product and this has six ultra deep cleansing pore strips. Now this was definitely in last year's and it's a fantastic product. So it's just strips that you pop on your nose and then you peel off and it draws all the impurities out of the pores. Box number 13. So here we've got a Percy and Reed product. So a lot of people know that I don't particularly like Percy and Reed as a brand. I have been let down by a few of their products before and I don't particularly like the smell but that's just my opinion. So this is the Dry Instant Volumizing Spray. So this is something to pop in the hair if you want to give your root an added lift. But to be fair and fair play to them, they have featured a lot in the Advent Calendar game this year. So you can make your own decision on that product. Door number 14. Here we've got a Crab Chi and Evelyn product and this is Ultra Moisturizing Hand Therapy. Again, this was in last year's Advent Calendar and this brand has been featured a lot. But I haven't had this scent before. What is the scent? It's very light smelling. It doesn't smell as strong as the rose one that we've had before. Door number 15. Here we've got a Rituals product and this is the Foaming Shower Gel. This was definitely in last year's but this is a different scent. So they do have quite a lot of repeats from last year but at least they've like changed the scent up or the colour which is fine. So this was amazing. Last year... Oh that smells really good. Oh that smells like coconut. Apparently it's Indian Rose and Sweet Almond Oil. I don't know why I'm smelling coconut. Box number 16. In this door we've got Deodorant and this is by Baxter. So apparently this is aluminium free and great for sensitive skin. Oh it's a roll-up I think. Yep. Oh wow. Oh wow wow wow wow. To me straight away it smells a bit like chamomile. It smells very calming actually. This will probably be great to maybe take to the gym with you and just pop it in your handbag maybe. Box number 17. In this store we've got a Nivea product and this is Pearly Shine Caring Lip Balm. So I do think lip balms are great to have in advent calendars. Like throughout the wintry months my lips go super super dry so I actually don't mind receiving a product like this because I will definitely definitely use it. Used this before. It smells really great. It's a nice sensitive product for the lips as well. Yeah a little Nivea product there. Door number 18. Here we've got the Ink Me Stamp Tattoo and this is by Rimmel London. Personally for me I don't think this is a product that I use over Christmas. For festivals yes I think this is probably a fun product to use. You might use this for a Christmas party. The head of it is a love heart so I don't know. I just wouldn't wear love hearts to a party. I probably would have preferred a liquid eyeliner perhaps. Box number 19. I think we've got a face mask. Yep we do. So we have the Simple Rich Moisture Sheet Mask. I think having a face mask in the advent calendar is probably a really nice touch. You should actually give yourself a face mask once a week. So even if there was two in here I wouldn't mind. So this has no artificial perfume or colours and it has no harsh chemicals. So it's great for all types of skin. Door number 20. Oh we've got a lipstick. So this is a L'Oreal one and it's the Balmain Paris. Please be red or burgundy or something festive. Okay it's very similar to the two lip products that we received earlier. But it is in a lipstick form. For me I adore these colours. Like I think this is like my go-to every single day shade. But for variety in colour I reckon like maybe like a red, a burgundy or even like a purple would be quite nice. I actually like this colour. It's in the colour Confession. But just thinking of you guys, you might not like this colour. Door 21. Oh we've got a Patisserie de Bon product. Oh these smell amazing by the way. There was a strawberry one that I opened in another advent calendar and it smelled insane. But this is different. This is sugared violet hand cream. So different. So you know those palmer violet sweets that you can get? Smells just like that. There's now been two hand creams in the calendar. I probably would have preferred only getting one. If this was like a body cream then that would have been good. Box number 22. So in door number 22 we've got a Garnier product and this is Skin Active Cleansing Water. So this removes makeup and cleanses the skin. So this has no perfume, no parabens and no sulfate. What does it smell like? It actually doesn't smell of anything. Doesn't really have a scent. Door number 23. Here we have a Baileys and Harding product and this is a Luxury Hand Gel. This is the first hand gel that I've come across in the advent calendars and I do think it's a really nice touch and here's why. During the wintry months everyone has a cold especially on the tube and people like to sneeze into their hands and I'm a bit of a germaphobe. Is it germaphobe? Is that even a word? Anyway I don't really like germs and having something like this is brilliant especially for travelling because like who wants to touch a snotty pole on the tube? I don't. Smells like a fresh squeeze apple juice smoothie. Door number 24. The final day. We've got an Elemis product. Oh my! So this is the Pro Collagen Marine Cream. This cream is very expensive. I know it's in a smaller size but, but, but, but you do get a good use out of it. Elemis is my favourite skincare brand in the whole entire world so I'm very happy to get this. I think the full size product is worth like £85. Like it's very expensive. So that is the Amazon Beauty Advent Calendar. I personally thought that was bloody amazing. For £50 you really do get your money's worth. So who would this be great for? I actually think it's great for all types of people actually. I think it's great for teens. I think it's great for middle-aged people. I think it's great for an older demographic. And do you know what? I also think a gentleman would enjoy this advent calendar.
