So Lopes is one of the major beauty retailers in Korea. If you've been to Seoul, they're everywhere. And they house a lot of awesome brands, international and Korean beauty brands alike. And it's really cool because this is a place where I found one of my favorite brands and it's newly curated to Sogoglam. It's called Aqua and also I just want to show you my favorite product from that line. Alright, come with me! So I'm going to tell you a little story about how I found out about Aqua. Actually one of our former clog interns, her name's Alexis, she writes regularly for us even to this day. She told me about this amazing licorice toner and she said that not only has it brightened her skin, but she can't find it anywhere anymore and she's kind of freaking out about it. So I was super intrigued and I basically told her I'm going to try this because you got me sold. Found it, I tried it, I fell in love with it. And it smells so natural, I felt like my skin was not only cleaner after using this licorice toner, but it definitely had this brightening effect. I actually brought it with me in my backpack because they don't carry it here and I need you to see what it looks like. This is the bottling. It can actually ruin makeup if you want, but I really use it mainly as a toner. It's very liquidy, very watery, it smells so natural. Licorice is one of my favorite ingredients, so this is a real deal. I feel like this is totally going to be holy grail on Sogoglam. I can't rave about it enough, I feel like I've just been standing here raving about this licorice toner. But it's just that good. After Alexis told me all about the licorice toner, I dug deep into the brand and I found out there's so much more than this licorice toner. They actually have an amazing philosophy. They really want to focus on using Hanbang ingredients. So Hanbang is basically traditional medicinal ingredients used for centuries in Korean medicines. And they apply those same concepts into their formula, but they use those traditional ingredients and formulations. Plus, they use modern technology to make sure these products are super effective. So I really, really like that concept because I truly believe in these ingredients. Like licorice extract, which is such a great natural brightener. I believe in ginseng extract, it's such a great antioxidant, really great for your skin. So I'm on board on the Hanbang train. And I'm really into this brand because they put a little bit of science behind that. Now that I've raved and raved about the licorice toner, I've got to introduce you to my other favorites. This is a 5.5 bubble free pH balancing cleanser. You guys know how I feel about low pH cleansers. This is awesome, very gentle on your skin. It really stood out to me because they focus on the low pH. And I think this cleanser just does it right. So if you guys are looking for a gentle cleanser that has fermented ingredients, check this out. This is also a new product from the Aqua line. I fell in love with it because I've been obsessed with ampoules and serum treatments that come in mist form. And this uses all of those amazing Hanbang ingredients. And it applies in this really, really fine mist. And it's such a great way to apply treatment stuff in a product. So check this out. Another product that you should look out for is the Aqua Double Moisture Cream. This has ceramides in it, has green tea extracts, niacinamide. Just a well-formulated product. Great for the winter and cold months, especially for dry skin types. So definitely check this out. Some of the other sheet masks that I've curated are fermented. So this is a dried mugwort sheet mask. Mugwort is great for acne. And then we have the ginseng sheet mask. Which smells amazing, just like ginseng. It's definitely part of a Hanbang ingredient. I've seen pictures of their store, so I'm really excited to see what it looks like. Yes, same. Let's go! For those of you guys who don't know, Klavuu is a brand that's focused on pearl extracts. Yes. And a lot of their products have seaweed extracts. Some of this toner has over 33 seaweed extracts. This toner is really milky. I love it. It's really luxurious. It's a little bit thicker than your typical toner. And it's all about hydration and brightening. Oh, okay. Oh, it kind of looks like a pearl. Yeah, you're right. So a lot of people don't know this. I didn't even know this before I curated it, but pearl is very hydrating. It's very moisturizing. It has collagen in it. It stimulates collagen growth. And it also has that brightening effect. Yes! I see a Soko Glam sticker. Yes, because we curated it. And I think we showed them love from the very beginning. You did. So they're very proud. And this is a cleanser that is our bestseller at Soko Glam. Oh, I know because I watched many videos saying that. And it's really awesome because it smells really luxurious. It has a slight vanilla scent to it. You've tried this, right? I have tried a little bit of it. You only need a tea-sized amount. Yeah, like a raindrop size. Yeah, yeah. And it's just so... It's basically very hydrating. It is. It has slight high pH. It has around 6 to 7. But it doesn't feel dry at all. Yes. What I wanted to say about this cleanser is usually when it comes to foam cleansers, I hate them. I usually go for water-based cleansers. But this one is an exception. I do enjoy using this product. I think it's just well-formulated. And I think because it has the seaweed extraction, it really, really is not stripping. I agree. Great, great, great. And then this is another favorite oil cleanser. This also has pearl extracts in it. Obviously, everything here has pearl extract. And it's just... Try it because it really does emulsify a lot. When you just put a little bit of water, it turns all empty. So this is the 23... What is that? 21. 23 is usually my shade. I do enjoy how lightweight it feels too. It is. Yeah. I had to curate this because it's a first-ever sun cushion and circle balm. And I love the packaging. It's fun. It's fun green. It's green. And it has... It looks like it's a color, like a shade, but it actually doesn't... It's like... It doesn't have any color when you actually apply it. It's a sunscreen. It's a sunscreen, but it has a tone-up... I don't know if you can see the swatch, but it's a tone-up cushion. So it kind of acts as a primer in a sense. Sort of a primer, yeah. And it kind of makes... Blurs out your imperfections. And it's like... There's this really pretty... Pearl... Pearl-less... Yeah. Finish to it. Again, pearl. Pearl. But I really like this because tone-up cushions, tone-up foundations, everything is tone-up and great right now. You've seen that on every packaging, right? Maybe. I actually... I've been gone for so long. I know. Honestly, it's been about like six months. Oh, okay. But you'll see it more and more. Okay, tone-up cushion. On the lookout. Yes. So I wouldn't expect this to be part of the Club U line because it's tea tree. It's very like acne-focused line, and I loved it because it has really great ingredients, number one. And it's good for like backne. Backne. You just spray a bunch on your back, and then you don't have to have anyone apply it for you. Right. That's amazing. So I love it, and it just smells very natural, no added fragrances, and all tea tree smell. Is that going to be on Soko Glam? Yes. That's why I'm putting it out. I want to show you what I'm curating. Oh, okay, okay. Club U's like coming out with some really good products. They are. Lastly, we curated our very first Club U cream. Ooh, okay. I love the texture. It's like water-based. Oh, it kind of feels like an eye cream. Yes. Super soft. It's all about the textures when it comes to cream. I just love the way that this one is going to definitely give you enough moisture for the fall or winter. I've been going crazy about like the heavier texture cream because everyone's going to be looking for it this fall or winter. I know it's actually hot today. I know, it's really hot today. It's going to hit us like one day. Like one day, it's just going to be super cold, and we have to like nourish our skin. My left hand versus right hand. It's so like, this one's a lot. You're going to have to tone up on it. Yes, definitely. Oh, wow, Club U, okay. Hey, guys. So this morning, I had a little nail emergency, so I called up Park Eun-kyung, the famous nail manicurist and artist in Korea, and she's going to be able to fit me in this morning to take care of this situation. I'm really excited because I've been stalking her Instagram as usual, and I love all her designs that she's been coming out lately, so I'm going to finally get my nails done by Park Eun-kyung herself today.
